I liked watching this. It reminded me of doing the same thing as a suburban Sydney kid in the early 80s when developers were buying the houses across the road on 1 acre blocks, one by one, and turning them into 10-12 villas. We thought it was awesome to ride BMX bikes inside those houses - something our parents would never allow! The kitchen was similar to several houses in that street - all built late 60s and early 70s. The first bathroom had the same floor tiles as my first house, which was built in 1970. The 2nd bathroom had the same floor tiles as my in-laws (built in ‘73) so it seems like the place was pretty well built back in the day, as the bathrooms never needed updating. We never had the means to document those old houses in the 80s, but watching this brought back a lot of memories. I still vividly remember louvre doors on built-in wardrobes, Venetian blinds, r-rated magazines scattered in the floor, and some empty ammo boxes in one place. My neighbour got suspended from school because he took one of the empty boxes in to show off, and the teachers freaked out!
