Floor deserves a bronze statue of herself, in the middle of her home town, dressed in her Wacken "Symphonic Metal Superheroine" costume - 260 Centimetres tall. 😉
Floor got to me, too. Again. She is a natural empath, and feels the emotions of others very strongly herself - probably why she is able to (and has worked so hard to) convey emotion in her singing, with the huge variety of techniques she has mastered enabling her to switch around between them to bring out the emotion intended by the songwriter (or her own interpretation, if different) and project it to her audience. Music is what feelings sound like. At the very first "Getting to know each other" picnic on the lawn at the resort, Tim claimed to be unable to cry and said he has never cried since childhood. The others all took that as a challenge, but it was only Floor who broke those walls down. And Tim will probably be a stronger and more resilient man by being able to express emotion - keeping it in is not good for you. btw, if you ever really want to experience an extreme temperature change, try skydiving. No matter how hot it is on the ground, it will be -30°C (-18°F) at 25,000ft. Oh, and of course there's wind chill at free-fall speeds. You also need oxygen up there. I only did one extreme jump like that, all the rest being from more normal altitudes where the air is actually able to support life and consciousness. They weren't so safety paranoid back in my youth, so that was as an RAF Air Training Corps cadet. It still wasn't in the usual training schedule, but they had neglected to actually make rules against it. Just made it very hard to get an aircraft to take cadets up there. So, it was a bit on the quiet - officially it was a training drop for an Army unit that the Herc was scheduled to fly, but they were enjoying a day at the pub :-) Funny how they explicitly banned all but static line jumps for cadets shortly afterwards :-/ Then I developed extreme vertigo at even mild heights after a fall from a badly rigged ladder when working as a roofing labourer aged 20. I wasn't (physically) badly hurt, thanks largely to landing in very soft mud. But I utterly failed to climb a ladder on returning to work the following week. Since getting my pilots licence (many years later, and which partially cured me of my vertigo - it is just long ladders which affect me now) I've seen no good reason to depart a perfectly serviceable aircraft in flight though.
the whole title from his album shattered "Lions don't cry". Damned Floor. hahaha. that's what she does. Emotions chilling to the bone. awesome. After this show she became finally famous in the netherlands. before almost nobody knew her. strange isn't it. greets from the netherlands.
And I winessed her conveying emotions at her solo show in Heerlen. Touched me, (65 y old Dutch bloke who worked for 45 y in social psychiatry thinking nothing can touch me anymore) to the bone. Power, emotion, passion. It all came along ad I teared up some times. With this one and About love I don't know a thing. Also with NW she sometimes get me weeping.
I live in Missouri, but just for you guys I am going to watch this again in June. I just need to be able to figure out a reminder so I don't miss it next year, six months from now... My memory is crap so I need a reminder somehow...
I miss watching this beste zangers, watching the faces of the others reacting everytime Floor sang (especially Rolf's). Now you have seen Winner written by Tim Akkerman, the voice of Floor is beautiful, I recomended for you Tim Akkerman sings Nemo from Floor/Nightwish, he has a real rock voice
Nice reaction. I appreciate you showing the lead up and ending of the video. It adds immensely to the understanding and vibe of the performance. Yet again, we have Floor showing her endless forms most versatile! ;-)
Isnt she also the queen of tears? Wow! She did it again after listening hundreds of times to this song. Great reaction! And btw....you guys are WINNERS too! Keep up doing the good stuff 🤟🏼🤟🏼👍🏻👍🏻
Travis and Suzi, while Floor does her thing as she does, you both do a great job at lifting others up and making them feel like winners as well. I truly enjoy your reactions and love the fact that you both are as incredibly humble as Floor is and you are to be commended. Keep up the good work, you're wonderful people and great musicians to boot!!!

I wish we had a show like this in the US. No competition, just artists singing for the sheer joy of it. edit: I forgot to mention how down to earth her personality seems to be.
I believe you could easily adapt the format in the US if someone wants to produce it. Many European countries made their own shows based on this concept. In Germany it's called "Sing meinen Song" (Sing my song) But maybe a show like this which is not based on competition doesn't quite fit to the American mentality, i don't know 😉
The "format" is spreading. Belgium (Liefde voor de Muziek) for people enjoying the symphonic metal genre it was worth watching for Sharon den Andel performances alone, Germany (Sing meinen Song), Denmark (Toppen af Poppen) have their own excellent versions. France, Spain, Sweden and the UK are working or also have their own versions but I haven't had the pleasure of seeing those yet. So I figure it is just a matter of time before the US will join in although I personally would prefer a Canadian version. Imagine if you will a version with Bryan Adams, Drake, Shania Twain, Justin Bieber, Joni Mitchell, Celine Dion and Alanis Morisette....the question is who would like to see on it??
We have something similar in Finland as well. It is called Vain Elämää (only/just life??) and artists spend a week singing each others songs and other activities. It has been on air for mamy years now.

If you think this is emotional please react to the one that she sings to Ruben Annink, "About love I don't know a thing". She kills him (in an amazing way)...
Just thought about Heart playing "Stairway to heaven" when you said the thing about playing before the creators of the song and made them feel emotional. And Ann Wilson is maybe the only rock singer that Floor can't easily outplay, at least not in Anns genre.

I'm in Southern California and we had a high temperature of 64°F today. I am very, very familiar with the Redding/Shasta area. Did you know that Mt. Shasta is actually a (potentially active) volcano? Anyway, that area is just like the area I live: hot AF much of the year. It does get cold here, too, but let's face it, it's cold _relative to_ the extraordinary heat. It's not cold by your standards! LOL
I live 30 minutes from Redding. Mount Shasta is considered active (to the North) and Mount Lassen is also considered active (to the East).....FUN FUN. I am actually quite used to the tiny tremors we get here on a weekly (if not daily) basis. They aren't strong enough for most people to feel, but it's funny to see my hanging lamp sway a little bit sometimes. >:P
That guy looks like the mysterious guy in the middle of the crowd with the white hat and blue shirt on the "Nightwish Storytime" Official video at 3:11. Not saying is the guy, but looks so much like him. He's in the middle of the crowd, but at the same time, he's just standing there still looking to the stage
So i watch reactors on songs i really like and in this case Floor, fellow Dutchie as i think she's one of the greatest singers in the world. And offcourse THE perfect woman! I once stood next to her on a festival but 20 years ago i didn't know a thing... But... I see so many reacting and saying things i don't feel like they know what they're talking about. Not musical and stuff or like in some video's where that other dude flanking Suzy.... I skip within a few seconds... Life is about emotions, try to look for them;).
Actually ... it's not that hard to make an original singer cry. They wrote something that touches them . But when you go up on that stage you get into that headspace where you can reach the end, course not reaching it isn't an option. When a singer that can handle the song, starts singing it to you .You are not in that "I have to reach the end of the song" headspace. So what you wrote actually hits home.
Isn't this a great show. All we have is crap like The Masked loser, The Voice, and the like. Pure crap. I wish it was June where I am at! Minnesota. You must be northeast area? The Nor'easter is kick your A!!!!!!!!!!! Loved it my friends. Merry Christmas Wolf Hunterz. Give my best to Jon! Peace.
I know Floor is one of the best Female singers on this planet, but you should also check out Dimash Kudaibergen. He is probably the best vocalist (male & female) on this planet
When the queen says raise your hands, YOUR RAISE YOUR HANDS!
Tim: "I dont cry"
Floor: "Hold my beer"
Tim: "Dammit Floor"
And the F-bomb he dropped at her! LOL.
I've watched this performance about twenty times and i still tear up when she hits that last soft note.
I’m the same, I added it on my normal commute playlist. As someone that has a few medical issues, it gets me every single time.
Ive seen this a thousand times. Still tear up even now.
Same.
Same here Floor is unreal

Our world is a 1000% better because of Floor Jansen. Amazing singer and a humble person who deserves everything great she gets.
totally underrated song, this song could be a killer if given some airplay. And Floor absolutely decimates it.
Let's keep this to ourselves, radio will ruin it ;D
I must say every performance was amazing and the band was amazing too
im from the netherlands and i have to say this you 2 are hilarious i love you 2
That was incredible. And Floor seems so sweet. That moment after the song when she was comforting Tim 🥺
NASA (Nightwish Army Scottish Allegiance) hi guys, same series, Emma covers 'Strong' by Floor. She kills it and has Floor in tears it's beautiful.

Had me in tears.
Mama next!!!
Or Henk Poort singing 'Noelia'.
No snow here in Florida. I don't really miss it. haha.
This song how she sings it in front of Tim is so heartwarming and emotional the same♥️

Peace.

I’ll hit the Like button & Subscribe next June when I’m in California.

She could sing the phone book and I'd buy front row tickets...
I know Floor is one of the best Female singers on this planet, but you should also check out Dimash Kudaibergen. He is probably the best vocalist (male & female) on this planet
