Austin Hill seems to be incapable of accepting responsibility for his actions, now he needs some accountability. At some point he needs to realize the problem is Austin Hill, not every other driver.
Austin Hill definitely needs to be suspended. He already put Custer in the wall off of 4 but that wasn’t anything egregious. You look at the onboard down the front stretch and can clearly see Hill came up into Custer, then he proceeded to blame Custer. Definitely deserves a suspension

A penalty should be stiff… you purposely take someone out if a race, drivers will be docked $100,000 and loose 100 points. That will make all drivers think twice…
Hill should sit out. Too many track crew could be on the track. Too many sweepers or trucks as well. Under yellow should be auto suspension. The precedent is pretty clear with Busch.
Basically what happened was that both Hill and Custer were side by side off 4. Custer got put in the wall slightly by Hill off 4, then the both made contact on the frontstretch (Hill doorslammed into Custer quite a bit). That's what lead to Hill cutting a tire into turn 1.
Given how it's not even the first intent wreck attempt from Hill this season (we forgot about coming to the line at COTA to quickly), honestly, NASCAR probably has a half-decent case for being harsh on Hill. That's just how I feel about it; Hill is just out of hand at this point.

Sheldon Creed was fined $25k and docked 25 points for intentionally wrecking Sammy Smith at Nashville last year. I would expect a similar penalty for Hill given that both incidents were spinning a driver into a wall and not a right rear hook
