Why You Must Redeem The Time | Dr. Steven J. Lawson

  • The beginning of a new calendar year brings about the New Year’s tradition of making resolutions. Losing weight, self-improvement, and financial goals normally make the lists of the men and women that make up America.
In this session from the Sovereign Nations Conference in Washington, DC, Dr. Steven Lawson delivers the perspective that we must “redeem the time”. Whatever is important there in heaven, must dominate the landscape of our lives now.
How are you investing your life? How much time do you have left upon this earth? How uncertain it is... Only God knows. How wise of a steward are you with the opportunities that are around you today? May all of us number our days and present to God a heart of wisdom.

I am greatly convicted, greatly saddened and greatly ashamed. I turn 29 in but a few weeks, and I have squandered my time.....I have wasted my life. I have professed Christ for 5 of my years yet I have been living for myself and not for Him. I profess His Son yet I have not committed my life. By His grace, this changes now. Please do pray for me, that my life be no longer wasted for myself, but be lived and used for Him.

God loves you...He will not leave you. Your life is in His hands, keep His commandments, love Him and trust Him, soon His desires will be your desires.
Bless you, I shall pray that you surrender ALL to Him.

It takes a humble heart to repent, may the Master be glorified in you from henceforth. Onward unto your Lord's work!

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18 May this be true in your life. He holds His own fast.

I'm not religious at all yet I find so much wisdom in these words. I was indeed born a fool and I have wasted so much time. And i am barely starting to understand my mistakes... Beautiful speech. Thank you.

What a timely message!!! **Pun intended** In all seriousness though brother Lawson is right, and a text (cited in both The Old and The New Testament's respectively) which came directly to my mind that was not included in this wonderful message is: [2 Corinthians. 6:2]. For the Old Testament parallels please see: [Psalm. 69:13 & Isaiah. 49:8]. These text's really demonstrate the sense of urgency to be reconciled to God through the work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and thus the importance of redeeming the time.
    Grace & Peace
    In Christ
    brother travis

That's a pack of lies you were sold by Marxist teaching. Our political leaders used to hold daily worship services in Congress and the Senate. There are Bible's printed by politicians. People used to know the Word of God. Now, we've been made ignorant by evil men in power because it's easier to take away what you never knew you had as your birthright.

“Word of God”? Guess they’ve got to take your word for The Word.
Teach them how to read Biblical Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic, if you want each man to be his own ministry, as the core of Protestant values has it.

Why has he an IDOL BEHIND HIM? to much ranter, before he reads Gods word,There is no need for a foretaste of a message before God speaks,
