Libram of Justice seems a bit weak, but even that is Equality (4 mana), bundled together with Light's Justice (1 mana). If we consider the cost of bundling to be 1, it does indeed work out to 6 mana. So I'd say they're all appropriately priced.

First of all power word shield and sethekk veilweaver is a 2 card combo. Secondly getting a random spell is not even close to simply drawing a card in power level.
I kind of like thinking as the dormant cards as underload, I'll give you less Mana for a minion later as opposed to having to eventually pay more many for a minion earlier

Yeah, you're right, Libram of Justice doesn't synergize directly with Liadrin, but regardless if you've played a bunch of discounts you can play it on the same turn as Liadrin so playing her isn't as severe of a loss in tempo, so it still works fine together.

The only reason it might not be is that Paladin buffs are typically stronger than Druid buffs. It is stronger, and I don't think you're wrong that power creep is happening (see Boulderfist Ogre vs Armoured Goon, although you could argue that it being a class card warrants a slight buff over a neutral card), but it isn't unrealistic for the no. 1 buff class to get a better buff.
No, it's Not. It Just means that Cards need to be evaluated keeping the Envirenements they exist in, in the Back of your head. Flarkmage in Standard is awfull, but is great in wild even though they have to face way stronger Decks, because it requires a strong secretpackage. Mark of the wild was a strong Card that was Put in an already existing Strong Deck, tokendruid, this Card is a stronger Card, but there is No token/buff-paladindeck Like the tokendruid where this fits in. To use it's full Potential you need an agressive deck, so you can reliantly Profit from buffing your Cards that are already in play.

you could literally just google it and find out that, in lore, the apexis were an ancient group split into two factions where one used the light and the other used the void / arcane. they left behind crystals full of vast arcane power, which mages would want, so it would make no sense to put them in rogue

The Hunter Felmaw does come with something that's precious to Hunters everywhere: it can go face once it wakes up. If your opponent is full-control and keeps freezing your board but not playing minions of their own, keeps clearing, keeps healing, this monster comes out and hits their smooshy faces already. If they DO play minions, then it's one minion off the board for you, or 5 face damage, which, for 2 mana, is a huge bargain. Good chances nothing they'll be able to play by turn 3-4 will be big enough to face off against the Felmaw even if they DO give it a second target.
Mok'nathal Lion, you could also hit up a Gorefiend and bring back all of the cards you sac'd. If they have rush or charge or deathrattle, have them die, and still have Gorefirend. Magtheridon. Technically if they already have 7 minions, any minion they would gain control of is instead destroyed. Wonder if that would work for basically a 12/12 WoG.
Hand of A'dal would make priest playable Edit: this set seems pretty broken tbh. Even if it ends up fun I feel that the meta for the whole year will be a mess with each new expansion if they stay at this power

I can see DH with warglaives of Azzinoth + Magtherodon being a thing. Probably more suited for control oriented DH but still seems like a good board swing combo.
Remember that replicatotron, when duplicated, keeps its text. This means that multiple replicatotrons will transform multiple neighbors (including replicatotrons) into themselves, which has interesting implications for how damage or other stat modification can carry over or be overwritten with a sizable board of replicatotrons.
Trump said all the librams were overcosted, but libram of wisdom is explorer's hat. Libram of hope is pretty similar to Ragnaros the Lightlord. You control where the first heal goes, and ragnaros gains taunt and divine shield, but you don't keep healing.
50Stranded for some reason trump thought that skull of the manari + 1 mana 8/3 wasn’t insane. Sure, skull is repeatable, but fel summoner has insane value compared to coffin crasher, and while that deck sucks in early game, the high rolls are done wayyyy better in the demon hunter deck

The Paladin cards have the Quest Paladin problem. Very good idea, but there aren't enough cards to go along with it. And the "Embiggen" problem on top: If you don't have Embiggen/BoD early, your deck is bad. (aka dont have Libram Discount on curve)
What if you play Maggy when enemy has full board? Instant summon full board clear? If so amazing, if not and he just gets stuck in dormancy then too bad.
Fel summoner is way better than coffin crasher because of a single reason it has 8 attack, which means that your opponent will feel a lot more threatened by it, because if they let it stay and it deals 8 dmg to face then that's a lot of damage with these types of minions you want them to die ASAP and with this one there is a high chance that it will die right after you summon it
I feel like Magtheridon could have some life in Demon Hunter, as there are multiple cards and effects that could be used to get rid of the wardens such as the Priestess or the Outcast that hits your opponent every time you play a top deck card.
To assess Imprisoned Vilefiend, I'd suggest the comparison of Cryostasis (Shaman card, give a minion +3/+3 and freeze it). Vilefiend is basically this spell attached to a 0/2 body, but lacks the flexibility of being able to target any minion, so they're about on par, roughly. Noteable that Cryostasis never saw any play, despite being introduced at the same time as other freeze synergy (albeit bad freeze synergy, but some bad synergy is still better than no synergy). I see no reason to rate this card anything other than a meme, honestly. Noteable with Sethekk Vileweaver that Priest is essentially losing Power Word: Shield, which really hurts this card a lot. I imagine the timing on this change is not a coincidence.
A big thing to note thou is that Vilefiend doesn't require you to already have a unit on the board and that it can be played in whichever class can utilize it best
@@HumanZombie99 Sure, minor advantage, offset by the fact that Cryostasis has additional utility, like the flexibility to be put on different minions, and offset the slowness of the card. Effectively, Vilefiend is like Cryostasis bundled with Target Dummy (only Stealth instead of Taunt, which are roughly the same value). The flexibility versus the effective card bundling are roughly the same value, give or take, which I took in to account in my original assessment (and stated as much in less words). I acknowledge that I didn't discuss the fact that the card can be played in other classes, but that's really because I find it hard to imagine anyone arguing that Cryostasis would have been significantly better in a different class. At the end of the day, taking two meme-level bad cards, bundling them together, and making it neutral really isn't going to make it significantly better. Maybe it goes from being meme level to being pack filler. Still not worth commenting on.
@@stephenburley4581 I think you're really over-valuing the flexibility of cryostasis and undervaluing not having to play an extra 0 cost minion with it. To be able to play cryostasis turn 2 you need to have played a minion turn 1 that survives, something control decks don't do, or you need to have a 0 cost minion in your hand as well turn 2. If you top deck cryo you can't play it unless you have a minion on board while you can always just safely throw down a Vilefiend. The flexibility you get with cryostasis is that you can buff any of your units, but you can't use the buff immediately except for very niche circumstances, and that you can freeze an enemy unit if you're extremely desperate. That's very minor benefits while the drawback compared to Vilefiend can be compared to discarding a card (since you need to use at least 2 cards to achieve the same effect with Cryo). Even if we just think of Vilefiend as Cryostasis bundeled with a 0 mana 0/2 stealth minion bundling still generaly adds 1 mana to a card, making Vile worth 3 mana. I don't see the added flexibility being worth an extra 1 mana.
@@ducker3864 I did keep this in mind with my assessment. Dormant protects a minion, but also makes it so that it has no impact on the board the turn it's played, so the equivalence is roughly the same. There are several benefits and drawbacks to either option, they work out roughly on par.

Why have to Aldors who are all Draenei but have Lady Liadrin, a blood elf, as the legendary? Simple, because the Aldors are lead by the character High *priestess* Ishanah and Liadrin is an iconic wow Paladin and is close enough to the Draenei.
She also debuted in Burning Crusade, as a major figure in Shattrath. She would later go on in WOD to repay her debt to the Naaru and the Draenei by dedicating her forces to helping their alt-Draenor counterparts. One of the few objectively heroic Horde characters. It's not like they couldn't have used Maraad or something if they wanted a Draenei legendary, but Liadrinn having a similar effect to another misc Blood Elf Paladin legendary also thematically connects those two cards.
You only get the deathrattle once, because the resummoned mok'nathal will just be a plain copy without the deathrattle. Similar to recurring vilain coming back unbuffed. It gets the deathrattle from its battlecry and battlecry only triggers when played from hand.
They should have called the Warders "Sacrifices". Warders imply they're all holding a spell to keep Magtheridon sealed, but the activation requirements are actually that they die as is, so...why am I nitpicking this card?

Apexis Blast is literally Firelands Portal for 5 mana with a restriction. I think that alone is strong enough to try and build around.

I can see DH with warglaives of Azzinoth + Magtherodon being a thing. Probably more suited for control oriented DH but still seems like a good board swing combo.
Remember that replicatotron, when duplicated, keeps its text. This means that multiple replicatotrons will transform multiple neighbors (including replicatotrons) into themselves, which has interesting implications for how damage or other stat modification can carry over or be overwritten with a sizable board of replicatotrons.

Trump said all the librams were overcosted, but libram of wisdom is explorer's hat. Libram of hope is pretty similar to Ragnaros the Lightlord. You control where the first heal goes, and ragnaros gains taunt and divine shield, but you don't keep healing.

50Stranded for some reason trump thought that skull of the manari + 1 mana 8/3 wasn’t insane. Sure, skull is repeatable, but fel summoner has insane value compared to coffin crasher, and while that deck sucks in early game, the high rolls are done wayyyy better in the demon hunter deck
@@hulkhooligan2241 Exactly, and look at what you're pulling. 7/9 Taunt, end of your turn summon a random demon from your deck, 6/7 with an end of turn mini-avenging wrath, and a dormant 10/6 that goes nuclear after 2 turns. The 10/6 is probably your worst case because of how slow it is, and even that is pretty insane

It's a stretch, but couldnt you copy reoccurring villain with mok lion and full clear your opponents board? But I'm pretty sure if it resummons it loses the deathrattle

The Paladin cards have the Quest Paladin problem. Very good idea, but there aren't enough cards to go along with it. And the "Embiggen" problem on top: If you don't have Embiggen/BoD early, your deck is bad. (aka dont have Libram Discount on curve)

Fel summoner is way better than coffin crasher because of a single reason
it has 8 attack, which means that your opponent will feel a lot more threatened by it, because if they let it stay and it deals 8 dmg to face then that's a lot of damage
with these types of minions you want them to die ASAP and with this one there is a high chance that it will die right after you summon it

I feel like Magtheridon could have some life in Demon Hunter, as there are multiple cards and effects that could be used to get rid of the wardens such as the Priestess or the Outcast that hits your opponent every time you play a top deck card.
To assess Imprisoned Vilefiend, I'd suggest the comparison of Cryostasis (Shaman card, give a minion +3/+3 and freeze it). Vilefiend is basically this spell attached to a 0/2 body, but lacks the flexibility of being able to target any minion, so they're about on par, roughly. Noteable that Cryostasis never saw any play, despite being introduced at the same time as other freeze synergy (albeit bad freeze synergy, but some bad synergy is still better than no synergy). I see no reason to rate this card anything other than a meme, honestly.
Noteable with Sethekk Vileweaver that Priest is essentially losing Power Word: Shield, which really hurts this card a lot. I imagine the timing on this change is not a coincidence.
A big thing to note thou is that Vilefiend doesn't require you to already have a unit on the board and that it can be played in whichever class can utilize it best
@@HumanZombie99 Sure, minor advantage, offset by the fact that Cryostasis has additional utility, like the flexibility to be put on different minions, and offset the slowness of the card. Effectively, Vilefiend is like Cryostasis bundled with Target Dummy (only Stealth instead of Taunt, which are roughly the same value). The flexibility versus the effective card bundling are roughly the same value, give or take, which I took in to account in my original assessment (and stated as much in less words).
I acknowledge that I didn't discuss the fact that the card can be played in other classes, but that's really because I find it hard to imagine anyone arguing that Cryostasis would have been significantly better in a different class.
At the end of the day, taking two meme-level bad cards, bundling them together, and making it neutral really isn't going to make it significantly better. Maybe it goes from being meme level to being pack filler. Still not worth commenting on.
You have to keep in mind an enemy can remove a frozen minion but not a dormant minion
@@stephenburley4581 I think you're really over-valuing the flexibility of cryostasis and undervaluing not having to play an extra 0 cost minion with it. To be able to play cryostasis turn 2 you need to have played a minion turn 1 that survives, something control decks don't do, or you need to have a 0 cost minion in your hand as well turn 2. If you top deck cryo you can't play it unless you have a minion on board while you can always just safely throw down a Vilefiend. The flexibility you get with cryostasis is that you can buff any of your units, but you can't use the buff immediately except for very niche circumstances, and that you can freeze an enemy unit if you're extremely desperate. That's very minor benefits while the drawback compared to Vilefiend can be compared to discarding a card (since you need to use at least 2 cards to achieve the same effect with Cryo). Even if we just think of Vilefiend as Cryostasis bundeled with a 0 mana 0/2 stealth minion bundling still generaly adds 1 mana to a card, making Vile worth 3 mana. I don't see the added flexibility being worth an extra 1 mana.
@@ducker3864 I did keep this in mind with my assessment. Dormant protects a minion, but also makes it so that it has no impact on the board the turn it's played, so the equivalence is roughly the same. There are several benefits and drawbacks to either option, they work out roughly on par.

Simple, because the Aldors are lead by the character High *priestess* Ishanah and Liadrin is an iconic wow Paladin and is close enough to the Draenei.
She also debuted in Burning Crusade, as a major figure in Shattrath. She would later go on in WOD to repay her debt to the Naaru and the Draenei by dedicating her forces to helping their alt-Draenor counterparts. One of the few objectively heroic Horde characters.
It's not like they couldn't have used Maraad or something if they wanted a Draenei legendary, but Liadrinn having a similar effect to another misc Blood Elf Paladin legendary also thematically connects those two cards.

You only get the deathrattle once, because the resummoned mok'nathal will just be a plain copy without the deathrattle. Similar to recurring vilain coming back unbuffed. It gets the deathrattle from its battlecry and battlecry only triggers when played from hand.

They should have called the Warders "Sacrifices". Warders imply they're all holding a spell to keep Magtheridon sealed, but the activation requirements are actually that they die as is, so...why am I nitpicking this card?
