Thank you, LIsa. I wish I felt better. I can see in my recent videos my energy is low. Booo. I'll have to film a start to finish video soon. I also used a gloss on my hair. I forgot to mention that. I found it helped too.🤗 I hope you had a good Valentine's Day. Did you do anything?
@@JulieMeikle I did! Just stayed home with my hubby. He cooked dinner and we watched tv. The perfect evening. I wish you felt better too! :( Were you able to celebrate Valentine’s Day?
😍Thank you, Amanda! Next time I'm going to film a more indepth tutorial. I have a lot of shorts on here in the vertical format. Did you see the video of me highlighting my hair? I've been cutting and highlighting my hair for years.
Very pretty Julie. Would you do a slow “ Messy Bun” tutorial ? I have watched so very many tutorials on them, and have been attempting a messy bun for a good week and finally, yesterday I got one that I love, but still just cannot master o true messy bun. My hair is long, but a few layers in back that are growing out but makes it hard to get penned up. Thank you for sharing. Happy Valentines Day.
I'm so bad at messy buns, Karla. The only way I can get it to look reasonable is if I wear my hair naturally curly. The texture of my curls gives the elastic something to hold on to. If my hair is smooth it falls out and looks floppy. Do you have any curl?
Thank you, Mary! I need to film a full start to finish hair tutorial. I haven't been feeling well for about a month now and I can really see my energy is low in my videos. Boo! Have you managed to stay well this winter? I hope so.🙏🏻
Thank you, Audrey! You're so sweet. I'll film a full hair tutorial soon. I have a lot of videos up in the vertical format but I need to redo them in the TH-cam format. Your hair is beautiful. Is it naturally curly?
Hi Julie! Yes, please do more hair tutorials, I love them! In your opinion do you prefer the curling iron rather than flat iron? I have both, and I have tried waves many times - always fail..lol. Thank you for sharing, I will keep trying 😊💕
I always love the curling iron. It just makes more sense to me and I can't seem to get coordinated with the straightening iron. I don't even like to use it to straighten my hair. I like a bit of bounce to my hair, even if it's smooth. I use the Shark Flex Styler round brush to smooth my hair sometimes. I do have a hair playlist but I need to do more in the horizontal format. This is the link to the hair playlist. 🤗 th-cam.com/play/PLMHnGthZcReLyfaAAFbk8fS5ifEG1K4zq.html
Great video ❤ It's werry easy too follow you in the video, and too understand what not too do if you want healthy hair. Love the hairstyle. Big hugs from Denmark 🌹💝🥰
Do you use any spay way before you curl? My hair is very fine - would you ruin the iron if you spay before you curl - thanks! I have this iron in my cart will pull the trigger soon❤️
I do. I should have shown that in this video but since I had product in it from styling it the day before, I didn't bother this time. I typically use Moroccan Oil Perfect Defense before I curl each piece. Sometimes I use a light hold hair spray. It I really care about it staying that's often what I'll use. I want to buy the 1". I have a 1" curling iron but it doesn't have heat control and I don't like that about it. What other products do you use? Do you blow dry your hair? I always blow out my roots at least to get as much volume as possible. It helps.
I’m letting my hair grow out from a very short pixie. This is what I have in mind, if I ever get there. The front is barely long enough to go behind my ears so I think I’ll be okay. I missed what you said was the brand name of your curler. I’m definitely going to need one.
It's Bio-Ionic, Lisa. This is the link for the Amazon US. It's on sale right now.amzn.to/48hC9BV and this is the link for Amazon CA - 1.25 -amzn.to/3I6QXbT and there's another one that's 1" -amzn.to/3OHdkIE. I would probably grab the 1" to use as you're growing your hair out. I love using the 1" as well.
My hair use to be so short. It was hard to grow it out. I wore a lot of hats and used bobbi pins to pin my hair up. I should show you some photos. Are you going your bangs out too?
Is it rude to ask, if you are Canadian, I’m only asking because that was my take away from your last live with Jodi? Also I will get back to you on my foundation shades. God bless…

Yes I am naturally curly but a lot of work to get a nice result (hydration mask, cream, gel etc) otherwise they are very dry grrrrr🤐🤐🤐@@JulieMeikle
