That cracking lens is a deal breaker for me, the Klim Edge it is then. Yet another great review though Toni and thanks again for your honesty.

Hi Matt. Thanks so much again for your kind feedback. Always appreciated so thanks very much. Yes the cracking lense is not great, but saying that I have a replacement lense on them now which has done a few thousand miles and no sign of cracking, but I think that’s due to me not lifting the lense one haded whilst riding, but yes the cracking isn’t good! 👍

Great to know how these goggles hold up over real usage and real time. These look very much as large as some MX goggles, too big for my helmet too I think. I am probably going to get Biltwell goggles, as there is a stockist near to me, so I can go and test them that they’ll fit in the helmet. They don’t look as nice as yours though..

Hi. I’ve just bought a new replacement lense finally, as the old one had become very worn and cracked and it’s transformed the goggles like new again. These are very large and in my x small helmet there is a bit of a wind gap created. Biltwells tend to be a bit smaller so you should be fine with those. They also do some lovely colour ranges. Let me know what you decide to go for in the biltwell range. 👍

Really helpful review thanks. Looking for something like the Barstow to go with my Bell Moto 3. In your opinion can they accommodate prescription glasses?

Hi. I don’t wear glasses myself so couldn’t comment accurately, and I suppose it would depend on the size of your glasses, however what I can say is that the anti fog and airflow ability of these goggles is great 👍 . Hope this helps

    Is the straps removable?

Not 100% sure but no I don’t think the strap comes off completely.

Thanks for sharing your experience with these goggles. I was surprised the lens cracked from nearly day one 😳 has kinda put me off. I definitely need some goggles for my Ex-zero. I think it is the inbuilt visor, in the down position, that generates most of the wind noise. have you had a chance to compare wind noise with googles compared to visor down on the Ex-Zero? thanks again 🙂

TeaPotWood hi . The goggles split I think because the frame is bendy, so when you pull the goggles on and off the twist of the flexible frame against the more rigid lense is what causes the cracking I think. As mentioned this happened almost immediately. They’re still useable and you can’t see the crack when riding , but now they’re getting a bit bigger I think it’s time to swap the lense out. As for the drop down visor I can’t say I’ve noticed too much wind noise, but I think that could be because. The ex zero is a pretty noisy helmet to begin with. The noise predominantly comes from the amount of wind coming straight at the face, and a closed shield would reduce the noise somewhat, but no the goggles don’t create a seal at the front and therefore wind noise is the same, with or without the goggles. Hope this helps. Safe riding

Well that sucks, sucks a big one. A price of a 100€ and they crack so easily.

Yes I must admit the lense does crack easily, although even with the cracks they last a long time, and you can’t really see the cracks whilst wearing them, but yes it is extremely disappointing
