It's wild that folk will actually be happy for Reese not to continue the streak. I may not be a personal fan of a player but im not going to hope for their down fall. If they reach a record then it's good for them. That's why i don't go over fever videos when they lose if they not playing against my teams (sky and Aces). Folk may go over to laugh at a loss etc but it's petty. Let them and their rookie enjoy their moment. Im focused on our Rookies and their progress!

Angel Reese is unapologetically Angel Reese, genuine, likeable. But here's my take. Reese's distractors don't like the FACT that Caitlin Clark has to share the spotlight with Angel. From the NCAA championship to now in the WNBA where AR is surpassing expectations, breaking and making records--SOME people don't like it, but a LOT of us do. I hope Angel Reese keeps winning/making history in the WNBA.
Well it is kind of annoying when the league and their mouth pieces at ESPN are trying to cram the false equivalency down our throats that a one trick pony like Reese is somehow a rival to the most accomplished collegiate woman's basketball player ever, a generational talent who is doing things nobody's ever done before and filling arenas because of it. Sure Reese is elite at snagging rebounds and scoring from under the basket but that's a skill any big player can acquire, people aren't traveling from all over and paying big bucks to see that. Clark is revolutionizing the game and doing it spectacularly, but if you're set on crowning Reese, a player who can't dribble, can barely shoot, doesnt pass, doesnt make her teammates better and is about as creative as a fire hydrant then I don't know what to say to you except get used to disappointment because Clark is hands down ROTY.

Reese is more marketable. Looks, skill and personality. Clark has skills. Other than THAT...(crickets)...

I've noticed some Sky fans are hating honestly, but the ones who are Sky fans who are critical either don't watch the games or don't know the lineup. I keep seeing people critical about Angel being in the game when Kamilla isn't saying she is taking one out for the other when Kamilla is actually being taken out of games for Isabelle, not Angell. Also, Kamill had a -17 plus/minus hpgoing inpinto the 4th quarter, which was the worst on the team at that time.

Yea bc when the other team knows your next move, it's easier to guard you. Like right now, I've actually heard a team say they know what side Reese going to when she pivot and drives. And I think we all know that when she gets the ball she will power dribble and go up. But as she starts to do more of the spin (we saw that a couple games ago), and the step back or pump fake.. Then she'll be a bigger threat down there
@@DeeCarLady AR has gotten better through the season that's a positive. The development staff working with her Camilla, and you can tell. They're both rookies in due time they will show more offensive skill I see it already. If Angel can consistently hit that middy that would open up her game so much. Milla to because you cant just always get layups.

I know we don't see much from their practice on video, but i have yet to see any of them attempt a hook shot (Kareem. It's super hard to guard it).. Or spin away from basket (Angel did 1 going towards the basket).. Step back jump shot inside paint... Basically like if you look at the elite bigs in the league. Watch their post moves. If our bigs are being taught those moves then they'd atleast be attempting them. As we see Reese don't Care bout getting blocked so that means she's more likely to try it. So it makes me think they ain't being taught it
@@DogMentalitySportsTalkWithChri like the trainer should already be watching tape of the great bigs, and Reese n KC should too... And see how the others scored on Joquel and Stewie. That's how you find the weakness! Then you practice the moves to break em! And those same moves will work on other players who play similar and have similar height. I know it's the first year but it ain't the first practice or game. So if my bigs ain't modeling what works then ima wanna know why if I'm coach T Spoon. Ima be looking at my trainers and telling my players what to be looking for on tape asap!
@@DeeCarLady Well they're about to have a month off so hopefully they work on some of those moves. I see it only going up I love what I see. We're the youngest team in the WNBA we have a new roster with a new coach and new system. You know were ranked last coming into the season? All we doing is overachieving and most importantly its undeniable progress.

🗣️All of this is good as I am an avid supporter but the concern with The Coach in my opinion ( no disrespect intended) why isn’t Kamilla Cardoso playing she has to be on the floor in order to flow with the chemistry ⚛️ once kamilla has a complete off- season, weights, her conditioning has really come on she gets up and down the court with competitive drive and her paint play is improving but she needs to be on the floor instead of sitting 🤦🏾♂️🏀!!!! This is just one person’s opinion.

You know why the first quarter was so good? Kamilla and Angel played together. After Angel went out for her ankle they never got to play together again. Then they got outscored for the rest of the game

Rotations do hurt at times but as a women’s basketball coach myself. I see her rookie coaching moments but I also see why we got these two. Our bench isn’t good. Mabry also has tough turnovers during runs. Similar to Clark. She’s going to be a good coach.

FYI, Kamilla's FG% was 80% for the 20 MIN she played against New York. Harrison's FG% was 60% for the 28 MIN she played.

A bunch of whining crybaby sky fans about the big loss to the Liberty. The Sky is getting used to L's by now, as they are way below .500 since May 1. Reese had another weak game, so weak that even though both teams and the refs tried to gift Reese another double double, she played so weak she fumbled it. The Fever played 11 games in 20 days to open the season, so get over your recent busy schedule. The Sky and Reese just are not that good. The Fever will make the playoffs, CC will win the ROTY, and Reese will win an award for most scripted and contrived stats.
Another L for Reese. Fever beats Liberty, Liberty beats Sky, CC a lock for ROTY. It will be nearly unanimous.
