here's an explanation for the zombie ghosts: literally shoehorned in because the publishers told swery to put in more action and horror into the game to make it sell better, wheras he wanted to just have it focus on exploration and collecting clues and stuff. so the zombie ghosts? literally just shoved into the game to appease the publishers
One of my favorite small details about this game is outside of the art gallery before the dungeon. The police crew is outside of the front door. No character has ever acknowledged zombies. There are zombies around the side and the back. If you try to kite them over to the team, they will stop following you just outside of line of sight of the other npcs so they can't be seen.

While the themes are different, when you look at the production of Holy Grail and describe it on paper, a normal person who watches it would say, “There is no way this could come together.” Then you watch it and it’s the easiest recommendation you could ever make because it works so well. DP is that to a tee.
Having watched it to the end, that sequel-bait line is the most unintentionally hilarious prediction ever made. All because Santel is so conflicted on it.
Deadly Premonition is bonkers! Gotta love Francis York Morgan though. That the game plays in 'real tijme' mnakes it both cool and tedious, since the NPC's follow an individualized 24-hour schedule. You need to see someone best be there at the exact right time .

My sister and my roommate and I picked this game up at random in 2013 from a used book store and we HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE FUCC WE WERE IN FOR. We played like 40 hours of it and there's still SO MUCH WE NEVER SAW. Yeah, deadly premonitions. It's a walk on the wild side.
I'm so excited for the sequel. This is one of my favorite games, not cause I enjoy playing it, but because I love the crazy story and characters. Top notch stuff.

Well, the game's kiiiiinda haunted as hell. Like, it has some real bugs AND at least one save I remember got corrupted. So I think the game is kinda cursed, especially judging from it have a rough launch on EVERY platform it releases on.

Forrest Kaysen is a recurring character in msot if not all of swery's games. in spy fiction he's an evil scientist and in D3 he's....the main charactr's best friend and a detective and possibly in cahoots with the main villain (not that we'll ever no since that game was cancelled). it's possible he'll reappear in Swery's cat game
Loving this new show. The hentai videos came out of nowhere and were awesome, and it seems like you guys are branching off into a load of different genres and games in the show which is rad.

this whole game comes from the mind of a japanese person who has never been to nor has any knowledge of America and is just going off of what they've heard and seen but even then those notions are not even close. That's all this game is.
Actually, they did go to America for the sole reason of getting the feel of the small town right! There's a ton of photos from the trip in the extra features or whatever.
also notice how ALL the 'accidental' deaths of the victims happen because of George, who SPOILERS is the killer, menaing he likely intended these accidents to happen to ot only ensure his victims died but also that he would look like he was trying to save them

XD Also, love how in the flashback to the massacre when some secret ops dump the gas, you guys say you recognize FK due to his laugh, and here I had already assumed it was him because while everyone in this game is slim, there's this masked guy that as obese as FK. I wonder at times, how much more difficult finding said hints be in games if they had all sort of body types. XD
Just so everyone is fully aware and grossed out. George is 42, Emily is 26 during the game (quick google search) so thats a 16 year difference. Meaning if she was still in high school, lets be generous and say she was a senior and 18 at the time, george would have been 34.

Problem is that there are a lot of frustrating/tedious parts between all the great goofy stuff. Not everyone endures it.
