i grew up hearing of this legendary game from the auld man, jambo through and through, thanks to him i too am civilised
I was there that day. Stood on the terracing around the halfway line. Talk about a thriller! Was at all the Hearts 1968 Scottish Cup games home and away. Can't believe it was 50 years ago !
Some game, sadly yea dinae see many games like this nowadays. The game was actually played on 17/2/68.

This is referred to as the "six five special." You certainly got value for money and look at the size of the crowd in comparison to today's games.
