I know this comment is really late, but back around 2009 Hearts was one of the first soccer shirts I bought here in the States...the maroon was the color of my alma mater, and I figured that any Scottish team that would wear a heart as a badge must be tough as hell. Quality video. Regarding Remembrance and hearts, Twenty one years ago II had the privilege of working on a dementia assessment unit, as a student nurse. I met a lot of amazing people but a man that I often think about was a man who was on the books of hearts but joined up and fought in the 8th Army in North Africa in WW2. He loved Hearts and love football. In different era he’d have loved this channel. The two Edinburgh teams really do have the best names. They kinda compliment each other. On another point; I really liked that Aberdeen kit. Spot on video. Thanks.

There's a memorial garden, and each brick on the wall has a plaque on it to remember past hearts fans. My uncle is on there. Devoted hearts fan he was. Taken too soon.

Did the tour guide tell you anything about the Hearts Heritage trail? It’s a coach tour of edinburgh where they take you around edinburgh and show you significant points related to hearts and what life was like for a hearts player back in the day. Think you’d enjoy it

You know - I used to go watch the hearts when I was a kid, my Dad used to lift me over the turn stile so I got in free! I am now a pensioner living outwith Edinburgh, yet I am not allowed to use my bus pass on the trams in Edinburgh where I was born as I am now living in west Lothian? Yet we here in Livingston receive cars from all over Scotland, but mainly Edinburgh, they are all allowed to come into our town and our centre and park their vehicles, yet I am not excepted in parking my car outwith Edinburgh to use the bus or trams, it's all wrong!

It would be a great idea for foreign people (eg of Indian descent) who would like to honour those who died in the world wars but maybe not honour the British Empire and colonisation of their countries?
Yes the poppy is to represent those that have fallen in all conflicts. Nothing to do with colony or Empire. Poppy wasnt used until long after the empire had dismantled
