Dave is hands down one of the best drivers out there. No matter what car he is in and what setup it has, he is always one of the fastest and most consistent.
Daddy Dave ...Bro I love to see that awesome Chevy Run .. sound of the cam best I've heard yet ...hey Dave don't forget to put the plugs back in it's missing ....🤔🤣🤣😂
I think we all knew this was coming. He wasn't getting the results with the Procharged combination and everyone knows if Dave isn't competitive, he will do what he has to do to run with the pack. No doubt he will be a threat now. He's a hell of a driver
James Richie I agree. Dave could have went with a bigger Procharger. But, he didn't want his car to have a ridiculously long front-end. Like Shawn Wilhoit's Camro. I like it, that Dave wants to keep his car looking somewhat original.
I remember in 2017 when he went procharger he said he would never go twin turbo and I thought to my self never say never and sure it enough he is now twin turbo
Hes been saying that forever. Remember that anti turbo sticker he put on the sonoma haha. Im glad he changed though, he can now be more competitive at the no preps
I think if he was able to use the biggest procharger system he would of stuck wit it but in order to use it hed have to add over a foot to his front chassis to make room to fit that big ass unit.
Yep. He did a reveal video. The larger procharger would have made him extend the front end by several inches. The only way to increase his HP and keep his factory length was to switch to Twin Turbo. Or keep his latest procharger setup and keep losing no prep kings.
I take great enjoyment in the fact that Dave tried everything before going twin turbo. He really didn't want to, but knows it's the only way to go really fast consistently
Put him in a stock 1992 Prelude and he'll figure out a way to get it to number 1. I have never seen a car with that much bite making that much power go that straight on a consistent basis. It didn't matter when it was on nitrous, Procharged or now turbo, whoever sets that chassis up is a wizard.
how long before its single turbo like larry larson and mike murillo and birdman? love daddy dave he's my favourite because he was the fastest when i started watching street outlaws also did anyone see him driving on pinks? definitely worth a watch on you tube if you've not seen it! dave for president of the good old us of a
My how the times have changed, he went from having a no turbo sticker on the Sonoma when he was driving it to having essentially a belt driven turbo on Goliath and now actual twins..
Seems Daddy Dave is now up there with the elite, Ryan Martin, Birdman, Mike Murillo n Larry Lawson + the secondary fast cars like 2-Chucks n the rest. He found the 3 tenths of a second he needed. Keep the tires down n roof up.
Couldn’t wait to see him bump in. When he opened the door after the burnout, it reminded me of the time he did that and the door fell off. Lol. Can’t wait to see him on the streets.
GOD will agree we're sure, as a matter of fact all need adjust our watches,, Grinich Mean Time lost about 3 seconds because we're certain the rotation of the earth halted as Goliath hooked and left! Hot DAYMN he's a beast!
Car looks great. Noticed there seems to be a bit of twist on launch. Lots of frame to work with, tighten that shyte down as nothing good will come of it left unaddressed, and it will be quicker when fixed. Other than that, it looks a beast!
Glad to see Daddy Dave go TT , nitrous is cool but TT is better for how they race. Not saying nitrous can't like Doc his setup can be eff fast if it was in lighter chassis
@Gil Williams no kidding I have never spent so much time watching people stage one damn car. It’s really not that hard of a process but these guys just drag it out for as long as humanly possible
Keep in mind the quickest accelerating thing on land is a top fuel dragster and to date no top fuel car is running turbos Dave should have set the motor back for a bigger procharger blowers to the front all the way. Until I see a top fuel running turbo set up I seriously doubt them !
It's extremely difficult to meter nitromethane to a turbo, that's why they run tried and true roots blowers..... as for alcohol and race fuel, nothing makes more power than a turbo
That was a very good pass. Be awesome to see what kind of times you guys run. I know it’s a secret but do you guys that race no time at least get a time slip for yourself to look at?
I think he made a mistake not going with 98's. He will have to lean on the 88s to make the same power 98s would have made at lower boost. Just my opinion, but gents do think that trough sometimes. Love the car, love the combo and Dave is squared away. Gonna hurt feelings. Hope he carries a box of tissues he can hand to the other drivers.
He should do OK with the 88s and weight break if I'm not mistaking I think that's what Chuck runs and I think the fireball camaro the same and the 2 of them be flying. That weight break help's out a lot more then what people think. Look at Larry Larson s10 with the single turbo he did that to save weight and Larry Larson s10 is the only thing that can hang with the fireball camaro.
@@matthewvarnam4302 chuck gets the huge weight break for being a true small block. 2550-2650lbs with the big block Dave still has to weigh 2900. The single turbo guys are 2575- 2675 depending on body mods. On the street with no weight breaks he could be a contender, but at npk probably not top teir.
All I have to say is that Dave is one bad ass driver. Watch out 405, number 1 coming up to challenge the #1 Chief of the 405. Can’t wait till the new season starts. Murder #1 Dave #2 Chief #3, but it will be the Murder or Dave at #1 at the end of the season. If Murder Nova can get his car dialed in by the start of the season. It will be up for the grabbing. My opinion!!
I cant wait until he put the 98's twin turbos than he would be to fast fast cause his car light weight with just as much power as chief ,Ryan, birdman and thats when he gonna be the one everybody scared to race
Stop the vid at 3:10, we can see the wheelies back on the track and the tire marks show he lost traction as the car humps up grabbing for another handfull 'a asphalt.
I haven't followed him closely... It seems, he finally understands, turbos make more power. It takes some a little while, but they finally come around. Expect many more to make the change. NOS = old school S/C = turbo haters
He didn't swap because prochargers are inferior to turbos. He switched simply because he didn't have enough room for the comparable ProCharger to fit in his car without it sticking out a bit. He was only making 2500HP with his old small PC, the new one that would have put him up to 3200-3500 like his turbos are doing was just slightly too big for his Nova.
The man can drive anything!!! Eating crow only last a moment. Everyone watch out for him in this next stage of power adders.
Dave is hands down one of the best drivers out there. No matter what car he is in and what setup it has, he is always one of the fastest and most consistent.
Daddy Dave is a beast when it comes to a race car ! He's my favorite on the show ! 💪👍✌👌😄
Daddy Dave ...Bro I love to see that awesome Chevy Run .. sound of the cam best I've heard yet ...hey Dave don't forget to put the plugs back in it's missing ....🤔🤣🤣😂
Never thought I'd see the day when Goliath would be twin turbo, but holy hell! That thing is a F'ing BEAST! That car's a damn land rocket!
I guess your the only one that was shocked to see it
@@jesusislord5315 I guess so. Smartass!
You just can’t help but like ole Dave. Goliath looking good.
Daddy Dav is a beast he’s been noz , pro charger & now twin turbos! Bad ass

She switched because the procharger upgrade that he wanted to make didnt fit, so he went turbo! What an excuse, lol!
James Richie I agree. Dave could have went with a bigger Procharger. But, he didn't want his car to have a ridiculously long front-end. Like Shawn Wilhoit's Camro. I like it, that Dave wants to keep his car looking somewhat original.
Bill Thornton no hate that guys Camaro is a pro mod that's why it's stretced in the front don't have the same shape as a Camaro to begin with
@Dave Micolichek agreed
Big facts I agree
spooling up and banging in on the trans brake has got to be hard to hit the tree
I remember in 2017 when he went procharger he said he would never go twin turbo and I thought to my self never say never and sure it enough he is now twin turbo
I member.
I think he found the limits of the procharger, and realized that in his situation it wasn't going to be enough.

@Chase Postell that's good facts
Looking good Dave! He's gonna make season 3 of No Prep Kings more interesting! Watch out No Prep Kings, Daddy Dave is coming for ya!! ❤
He's definitely eating his words about running turbos..but hey can't beat'em JOIN'EM!
Notice how it hooked really good then just spun

All those years smack talking the turbo cars. He has seen the light! Turbos to the front

Look at daddy Dave with those turbos. O.O
WOWOWOWOW!!!!!
She sounds nasty! Is it just the old combo with big turbskis? I am not surprised about the switch, the competition is too tough.
He carried the front tire for well over 330 if not all 660. That thing is lite and makin hella power America!!!! Damnit it man!!!!!!
Wonder what big chief is thinking!! Can’t see daddy Dave being beaten
Never thought he would go turbo in a million years! He will be tough to beat even more so now.
My how the times have changed, he went from having a no turbo sticker on the Sonoma when he was driving it to having essentially a belt driven turbo on Goliath and now actual twins..
Damn....Dave they gone have to invent a whole new type of tire for that lay down!! That was hitn skins!!

you ain't never lie!

IF THE SPACE SHUTTLE WAS REAL...LOL!!!!!!
Wow what going to happen when he gets this thing dialed in.
Own racing!! Like they say..."the only thing that can down the world's most powerful DADDY.... is his son!"
now he got the right set up, Daddy Dave going back to # 1
Yup! It's gonna hurt some feelings!
damn right it is goliath is a bad bitch
oh hell yeah love daddy dave and goliath that thing is a bad bitch

It looked like driver's side front tire off the ground for half track one sweet ride
Bro that's at thunder valley raceway in Oklahoma hell yeh

MMMM MMMMM I can't wait to see him slaying boys!
My favorite car by far!
Hell yea baby about damn time
sweet any one else notice the video length is 405..what a coinkydink...lol
Sure did. Immediately.
Its 404
well yeah. these guys on this show are the only drag racers that take 5 fuking minutes just to stage a damn car. lol.
lmao...right
@Gil Williams no kidding I have never spent so much time watching people stage one damn car. It’s really not that hard of a process but these guys just drag it out for as long as humanly possible
On won of his videos he said a bigger procharger wud hang to far out in front of the grille. So thats wen he went for the twin hairdryers
That video: th-cam.com/video/vCBUobAMrGk/w-d-xo.html
He is going to be unstoppable.
Love the first Gen Nova's and he probably has the fastest one of the bunch.

Turbo not allowed in Top Fuel

481x, is a winning combination. Tough to beat, PROLINERACING
When did Dave switch from his single Procharger to twin turbo??? Goliath has always been fast AF but that run definitely looked faster.
Someone asked what motor and what size turbos is in this car, it's the Proline 481x billet aluminum motor and twin 88 mm Precision turbos
Damn wait till he gets that car dailed in, he gonna hurt sum feelings😬👌💯
Curto muito Daddy Dave, mas nunca achei q ele fosse usar o bi turbo... tava punk o pró charger!!
Is that big chief kn the blue hoodie?
Dave that thang sound mighty dam good
But will the 88's and weight break be enough to contend with the big 98's and monster singles??? Either way it's gonna be fun to see.

Benjamin Diflo which is a 500+ci big block.. 481x is just the designation

Wow. That man can drive.
Can"t believe I am seeing the day he went turbo. He always said he will never go turbo.
He hazex the tires leaving then again on top.end dam that tbing is making the power
Looks good.

What can’t he drive.
Any car any setup. Daddy dave can handle it.
How much does a 481x make with twin 88mm turbos
HELL YEAH BROTHER!
Hell of a hit big daddy
What size are the turbos hes running now? They look like 100+mm from the video but I cant tell for sure
Thanks bro. They sure look bigger then 88s. Maybe it's just the running housing blanket. Still crazy those turbos look beautiful
Mills/Pharris are going to these guys a new one.
Damm what size moter and turbo is that it's a moving
I think hes gonna hurt some feelings with that setup. I like procharger better but twins make more power.
Looks like like he had the power down too low. Tires appeared to shake the hole pass.
Hookin AND bookin!!!
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PRO CHARGER?
I just wish one time Dave could say i just got my ass drug without an excuse.
He basically said that when he couldn't compete with the No Prep Kings!
Yup. And Big Queef also!!!
I don’t think anyone in all of drag racing ever takes a loss without an excuse lol
He will when he loses on a flawless pass tire spin broke parts are all acceptable excuses for losing
Thats why jj calls him “the worm”
Sorry guys, but I loved her as a nitrous car. Even when she was procharger I felt she was less of a street car.
Whats up with the flex pipe exhaust?
So, ... what was his time and speed?
I remember him saying that turbos would never hang off the front of his car
Didn't even know Dave was going twin turbo
goliath is a bad bitch chevrolet muscle
Sounds great
Somebody done f#*ked up now that's all I got to say
Going to go watch when this happens I live about 35-40 mins from the track
I'm from Dunlap. Rick lives about 10 mins from me yea Ricks car is pretty BADASS. I hope Dave shows up and I guess JJ is calling out Alex as well
Sure do their both good ppl and I went to school with ricks step son. Both their car's are BADASS. It's been awhile since I been up to the track

Some people don't like lag I'd say Cali Chris's pro charged orange nova proved turbos aren't top dog

DAM, sounds so good!
👍I'm going turbos myself
Can't tell what it's doing is it faster or slower no clocks no ET's
hasn't Goliath always been a beast
Wonder ìf it's any quicker?
