Looks great! Nice use of tools and materials. Doesn’t the inside need to be sealed ? I’ve wanted to make myself a flask for some time but haven’t figured out how to tin something closed in like a flask.
I would be careful using brass. Most of it has lead in it that can leach especially in alcohol. That said lead free solder is also a must but I think most of it sold now days is.
hehe, it is a bit tricky, the best place i have found is "blikkenslagere" (metal workers for roofing and such) they usually have somelarge leftover pieces for sale. But know i think Biltema and Bauhauis have it in stock in smaller sheets. Where in Norway do you live and what are you going to make ?
I find these videos amazing. Yet I don't have the means to make my own. This is great! Love the look of it
Awesome. It must feel good to give a gift as good as this!
Beautiful ! Thanks for sharing your craftmanship !
Thank you, and thank you again for watching
I need that kind of workshop
Make one, and let me know how it goes (start with just the tool for the next project)
Awesome project man. I'm wanting to build a flask here soon too, and this video is very helpful.

Hi there, and thank you very much, as of what i could find the inside dont need to be sealed, its still going strong 3 years later :D
Amazing!!! Best one so far! And great to see more of that handsome face 😘
Alexandre Chappel 😗♥️
Very Nice!!! Very inspiring also, I want to make one now.
Thanks, cool. do it, it was easier then i was afraid of, but maybe use a thinner brass sheet, mine was a pain to work with, way to thick
Amazing work!
Thank you very much :D
Sick hip flask!
Thank you very much :D
Aye man, i appreciate this shit. Looks artisanal/aesthetic as it gets . Nice work.
Thank you, that is nice to hear
Do you want brass shavings with your whisky or something?
I would be careful using brass. Most of it has lead in it that can leach especially in alcohol. That said lead free solder is also a must but I think most of it sold now days is.
Yes, i tried googling it, most told me it was ok. But the one that gets it is a doctor, he will have to figure it out :D
For a good source of lead free brass is a jewelry making store.
These are where I get my supplies from.
Kult prosjekt!
Hyggelig at dere liker det, (dere er kulere)
Will brass spoil the whisky if kept for over 4-5 days? Steel flasks do.
hmm, unsure. Still gives you some puch though :D
@@FlokrollProjects lol. A discolored punch. 😃
Where did you buy those shorts, btw? Thanks!
Dr ekroll!! 😂😂 awesome!!
Wow, very cool! And so cool to finally hear you talk! Are you related to Thor Heyerdahl?
you are a father.
father is greatest man on the earth
Yes, and i agree, i think
Everythings are amazing without leather works...but all the best amazing video
haha :D yes i do agree.
this is great, only thing is the cap should have been screw on.
the next one :D But then you do not get the cool "pop" sound when you open it
So rad!
July With Fitz thanks 🐴
Can you pl tell me which type of welding did you use
Just normal solder, the type you use for soldering wires. The trick is to use soldering fluid. Makes the solder flow to the right spots
@@FlokrollProjects Thank you for answering my question
where do you by your brass

Wow!!!!
thank you :D

Thank you :D
Fucking mint
Fantastisk :)
Takker :D
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I want to pay you to make me a flask
Sorry, not right now, but i do have some plans for some simpler models that i might make 10 of :D
looks hard to do.
Hehe, just because i am struggling a bit to much, its not that hard :D
I am thinking about making a new one... Would you like one?
@@FlokrollProjects oops sorry that didnt come out right...
Why your patron is to 1$
i need to make some patreon content first. Then i will try to get some patreons :D
Love it! Just dont solder on wood. That made ne cringe. The fact of you maybe destroying your vise and desk..... fff
I know, i need to get a "solder corner"
Flokroll Projects I recommend a low heat conductor such as steel. Something with a high specific temperature.
