I admire the recurrent use of studs as ornamentation. They create a favorable impression of solid security. As I watched, my mind kept conjuring up images of bolts and rivets on battleship plating, body armor, construction girders, etc.
It is possible to combine the industrial with the elegant. I appreciate that the design doesn't fight visually with the surrounding buildings while still defining its own space.
