If someone had told the 12-year-old me that someday someone would go beat Twinrova as child, with full inventory, after 15 minutes of gameplay.. then warp straight to phantom Ganon and boss rush the whole game.... and call it done after 36 minutes... my mind wouldn't have been able to handle it. What a run! GG
I cant believe I thought OoT speedrunning had reached its natural end at blue wrongwarps. Now I dont even see them used hardly at all anymore. One-of-a-kind game with a one-of-a-kind community.
No SRM is still totally a thing. This is like when ZFG ran MM any% for a few days just to see what those warps were about. He'll play the silly busted SRM stuff for a while and then probably never touch it again. Of course, he'll want a good SRM Hundo time before moving on so... yeah maybe a year or two.
Grottos basically have a seperate special type of loading zone different from standard ones because they are actually all "connected" and their special properties allow for a different application of SRM. Linkus made a great video about it just the other day. He provides a simplified but thorough explanation.
ZFG claims all dungeons again... But will never reclaim his child, all cows... ZFG abandoned it shorty after birth, and refuses to even mention the fact that it's his child! I want justice for all cows%!
Is it not somehow faster to turn adult link do grotto warp to bosses instead and kill with big sword? Or does big sword not save enough time over the srm needed to do that?
Its 4 vs 6 dmg iirc. So reset time vs lost time already too much. Though its funny to think child boss rush is quicker. When it used to be get bottle and leave child asap
They need FW on B to warp between bosses quickly so they couldn’t use Big Goron’s Sword or Master Sword (only Giant’s Knife or hammer because they are on C). Giant’s knife isn’t much faster than stick and only gives 8 hits forcing you to use Hammer which you already can use as child. Adult SRM also adds time on so the combination makes adult overall slower.
This is like an easier version of hundo. Hundo even has most of the the boss rush except it does Morpha and Gohma as adult. It only took him a single day of practice to prepare for running All Dungeons again

I'm actually amazed that you still just grab the sword and shield just like any normal playthrough. After that it goes off the rails though.

Could someone explain me how the glitched grotto warp works basically? For example, why don't you need to warp to BotW anymore to chain the warps?
