===========Video Description==========
I`m back with yet another cinematic video shot with Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra! This time most of the footage was shot in 8k and downscaled to match the 4k footage from 0.6x, 3x and 10x cameras.
What do you think about this one? And what do you think of the Galaxy S24 camera? Let me know down in the comments section!

Dare I say it, Samsung really needs to showcase your video to promote its phone. There's no video out there on YT like this. Also none from other brands that can achieve the same level of definition. Well done sir!🎉
Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it 🙏
Hopefully, one day, I'll get a chance to collaborate with Samsung on the official level😋
Xperia have some good videos like this
@@mirkomilicic7898 Yes, Xperia with 1 Inch sensor provides excellent image quality! However the phone itself isn`t great, camera overheats fast and the price of this phone is extremely high. So not worth it, as for me.
In my opinion, the iPhone 15 pro max is in no way inferior to the Samsung S24 Ultra @@333Ayron333
Nah it’s way to boring and dull to be showcased lmao
Very beautiful! It's hard to believe it was shot on a phone
Thank you! Everything is possible when you know strength and weaknesses of the camera you use 😋
The man behind the camera 💯
I'm glad bought samsung s24 ultra wow look like professional tv camera :)
As long as you know the strong and weak sides of your cam, you can do miracles with it 😊
Smashing stuff mate, literally felt like a movie!
Haha, thanks a lot, mate! That was my goal 😁

Now this is the good stuff!👌👌
Thanks, man🙌
Wow fantastic video, the camera is just a tool the person behind the camera makes the film👏👏👏 did you use an nd filter at all?
Thank you so much for your kind words!
No, I didn't use ND filter or any other additional equipment for this video
Wonderful job on shooting this video. Please do make more cinematic videos with the s24 ultra.😊
Thank you! Definitely will do more✌️
You got great skills man. May you get what you deserve, blessings from india
Thanks a lot, buddy! 🙌
Nice video! Which tool did you use for the editing?
Thanks, man! I always use Adobe Premiere Pro
Very nice shots !
Did you use a steadycam ?
Thank you! No, everything was shot handheld
SImply amazing. To think that this is filmed with a smartphone is almos unbelievable.
Thank you! I'm always trying to push the phone's limits to see what it's capable of🎥

Bro literally used all the potential of the camera, appreciating your skills ❤️
Thabks a lot, buddy! There are still a couple of things I could do to enchance the video even further, but I wanted to show what you may achieve with only mobile phone without any extra accessories
Watching this on a Samsung S95B really brings in a lot of depth to color and dynamic range, its like im there in the scene. I'm totally wowed by this quality you achieved. My favourite part was when you zoomed away from the red lantern.
Thanks a lot, Sunil ☺️

Great video, what did you use to edit it?
Thanks! I always use Adobe Premiere Pro 👌
You work with nd filter ? Or what Was your shutterspeed ?
Nice video
Thank you for your feedback! I shot this without ND, so I had to adjust the shutter speed based on exposure requirements. It goes all the way from 1/50 and up to 1/4000
It's hard to believe, but it looks so beautiful.
Thank you for your feedback 😊
The sound design is impressive too, omg! I have the S23 Ultra, and I want to learn how to shoot and edit like you. Did you do some color correction? My S23U has some noise at night. I wonder if the S24U fixes it.
Thanks a lot! Yep, well spotted - I had to work quite a bit on sound design for this video 😊
S23U is quite capable at low light, as long as you keep the camera steady and shoot at 24-30 fps, ISO up to 800, and shutter speed 1/60-1/30.
Low light performance for both phones is similar. Waiting for Samsung to implement 1inch sensor in their phones for major improvements...
Also, here you may find my older low-light video shot on S23U, if you're interested 😊

Would you mind telling me whether you wear some kind of additional lens or is it all because of the quality of the color grading?
I'm sorry my english is not good, but i really like the color production of your work.

This is the content I've been searching for! Amazing job.
Thanks a lot!
what a wunderful movie.. its really hard to belive yu shoot this on a phone. what cam app did you use? and what you think about noise reduction in the galaxy s24 ultra app?
Thank you! I used a native app, Pro Video Mode. In automatic mode I totally hate the noise reduction patterns, however in Pro Video mode the situation is much better - much less noise reduction.

Awesome 👌... which city? Dubai?
Thank you! Yes, it's Dubai 😊
Excellent video, but I'm wondering if you used a gimbal?
Thank you! No, this video was completely shot handheld. However keep in mind that you need some practice to do it as smooth as possible.

amazing for a phone :O

Very nice video. What frame rate did you use to shoot the film? 8k 30 frames or 24? because it's slightly slow motion. You also used 4k 60 frames, then when editing 8k and 4k different frames, what frame rate did you use to edit the film on timeline and and finally, how many frames did you export the movie in?
Hey, thanks a lot! I shot in 8k 30 fps and 4k 60fps. Later I interpreted all the footage into 25fps to get a slight slow-down in 8k and significant slow-mo in 4k. The whole timeline was exported in 25fps.
Are you using ND filters? Really nice video bro
Thank you! No, I don't use NDs for mobile videography
Love form Nepal
Amazing ... but where did you record this ... and how can I know the weakness and the power points to record a video like this😊
Thank you, Mohammed! Video was recorder at Al Seef, Dubai.
Strong points: advance Pro Video mode, possibility of a High Bitrate setting, pleasing 8k image and descent stabilization.
Weak points: low Dynamic Range, oversharpened 4k footage, 10x zoom is too soft and unreliable.
Good job! May I ask you which settings you used to record this video?
Thanks a lot! Everything was shot in Pro Video mode with a High Bitrate setting. Most of the shots in 8k 30fps, zoom shots in 4k 60 fps. ISO I kept mostly at 50-100 and shutter speed adjusted accordingly to expose the shot properly.
Do you have a tutorial on how to do the set up kindly
@@shabydy8594 Unfortunately, at the moment I don`t have a set-up video, but planning to do it in the future once I have some free time!
@333Ayron333 amazing its a good job done i would really like to learn on how to create such a masterpiece
Nice
Thank you🙌
How do you set up the camera
Thank you for not cropping it on top and bottom. Everyone loves your video and agrees on its cinematic quality, including myself, which proves a point that many people, specially the newcomers need to understand; that anamorphic lenses and black bars have nothing to do with making a picture look "cinematic" or "more cinematic". Cinema started being "squared". When analogue squared TVs came out anyone could tell the difference between a movie, a tv show, the news, and home videos despite everything being presented in the same aspect ratio, and we still can tell to this date. Cropping a home video only makes it look like a cropped home video, cropping a tick tock video only makes it look like a cropped tick tock video, while a cropped frame of a film will always look like a film regardless its aspect ratio. So what makes the difference, specially now that digital formats are reaching film quality and everyone has access to them? Why people using the same equipment get drastically different results?
Composition, angles, movement, subject, lighting, color or lack of color, those are the elements that makes something look cinematic. All of those are present in your video. By cropping it we would see 30% less of them.
Hey, thanks for you amazing comment! I`m 100% agree with you. People usually don`t understand what really makes the video cinematic.
For most people that means blurred background and black borders :)
While, in fact, many great cinematic movies don`t have either of those.
Idea, light, motion and color grading help to achieve the best results, which is widely considered as "cinematic".
Did you used any type of gimbal or handheld??
Everything was shot handheld ✋️ 🤚
Amazing results! And that's without prores or something similar like you can find in iphone, right? Because i heard about it so many things, like it's a deal breaker and makes a huge difference, but this video shows outstanding quality, just wondering if Samsung have their own codacs or techniques to make high quality videos.
Hey, thanks a lot! No, Samsung really doesn't have any special file format, colour profile, or codec. Everything here was shot in a basic mp4. However, when you shoot in Pro Video Mode, 8k, high bitrate video, it provides really outstanding results! Also, I love the image quality from 3x zoom in 4k. In many cases, it looks quite "professional camera like".
I really dream of Samsung creating some kind of log colour profile to widen the dynamic range a bit and offer higher colour flexibility during postprocessing.
Would be good to have pro-res here as well to get uncompressed image quality. However, the file size of such files is monstrous, so it's only useful for some very specific use cases.
@@333Ayron333 So editing the videos from the iPhone could lead to a better results shooting on prores mode? Waiting to see more videos from you with the s24!
@ayazdadashov6596 well, ultimately, that all depends on in who's hands the phone is 😊 PreRes is a well-known uncompressed format, so theoretically, you may achieve better results by shooting and editing in this format.
But once again, it's an extremely heavy format that will take all the space of your iPhone just in a couple of shooting minutes 🤷♂️
Nice video - Would you say downscaled 8K offers superior image quality compared to organic 4K?
Thank you! In this particular case - for sure. But it's not even about the downscaling itself, but more about image processing of 8k on Samsung phones. I guess it just doesn't have enough of compuing power to apply all artificial image filters to 8k footage, that's why it comes out the most organic and "professional camera" looking.
@@333Ayron333 interesting - currently undecided whether to get this phone or waiting for the iPhone 16 pro max (currently have the 13)
@northoltflightwatch for now, just stick to what suits you better. Both will be good. When it comes to camera, I would say, if you prefer to shoot in automatic mode - get iphone. If you want to get full control of your camera - get Samsung.
Ярик, ну очень хорошо 👍🏻
Спасибо 🙌
This is handheld! Imagine if you used a gimbal! This would be equal to netflix/Hollywood production! And its already right up there with em!
You sir are gifted and proof that it's not always the tool but the man behind the tool.. I love that you did this! Such inspiration to go out and do well!
I have an idea as to how you nailed the settings. But how much color grading you did is what id love to know. (20% saturation, 30 percent sharpness, etc etc)
Thanks a lot for your feedback! 🙏
Yes, sometimes I would love to use a gimbal, but I hardly ever take it along with me, so I usually end up having only my phone and hands with me 😅
It's really difficult to advise particular settings for color grading, since I used a multitude of various adjustments in Adobe Premiere Pro. I blurred the image a bit, added a tiny bit of teal and orange hues and adjusted lights and shadows to my likings to make sure that I use maximum of available dynamic range (which is still very limited on Galaxy phones).
Everything was shot in 8k with a high bitrate setting in Pro Video Mode to ensure the most "true" image I can get.
I know that the cameras of the S24 Ultra are not as good as a professional cinematic camera, yet your shots seem to make it feel as if it was indeed shot on a professional cinema camera! Incredible shooting skills!
Thank you so much! With a bit of practice, anyone can achieve the same results 💪
Samsung should have added log in this premium catergory of phones , samsung copied the titanium from apple but not the thing of purpose the log.
@@jayantakrghosh I totally agree with you, Log is much needed on Samsung phones.
Give it 1-inch sensor and log profile, and these phones would be literally ready for a professional production (like recent Sony phones)

What is your settings in shooting videos
Everything was shot in Pro Video mode with a High Bitrate setting. Most of the shots in 8k 30fps, zoom shots in 4k 60 fps. ISO I kept mostly at 50-100 and shutter speed adjusted accordingly to expose the shot properly.
I can see shuttering on some objects in low lights, if we have to pay huge amount that shouldn't be happening, you will notice that when you watch video on 55 inch tv or more
By shuttering, do you mean a bit of motion blur due to stabilisation at low shutter spead? To avoid it, you may use a gimbal. However, the purpose of this video was to show what you may achieve with only your hands and the phone.
Also, of course, there's some light flickering, which may be avoided by using ND filter and correct shutter spead and framerate.
All of these factors have nothing to do with the amount you pay. Even if you use a $10k camera, it will give you similar effects when shot in similar conditions with similar settings.
what software you have used to make it like film making or cinematic . U r not telling the secret wat did u do after u get raw footage from samsung .
The secret sauce is postproduction in Adobe Premiere Pro and several years of filmmaking experience 😁

@@333Ayron333 don't like i phone? 😁
@@SamiSami-dq1fw on the contrary, I love the fact that Apple gives and access to Pro Res format and unprocessed video to 3rd party developers. I wish Samsung would do that as well!
How did you get your zoomed shots to look so crisp? Everytime i try to zoom a little it just kills the quality
When there's enough light, in pro video mode, 3x zoom always works great for me. However, 10x zoom is trickier. Make sure to fix the focus on the desired object by tapping and holding your finger on it to make sure you'll get the most of this shot. Also, on postproduction, I enchanced the sharpness amd contrast of 10x shots a bit.
😮😮😮
