- Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS was the black sheep of the series. It was released at a random time and seemed like a literal downgrade to the Wii U version. While I cannot disagree with those statements, the 3DS did have a new mode called "Super Mario Challenge", which features a hundred stages to play on! So, let's see how many we can beat without touching a single coin!

It might be possible if you don't count the playing at the end of the level. But there are some levels that are just impossible.

I deleted Mario Maker 3DS cuz u could not do anything, no uploads, no amiibos and even then there was going to a be SMM2 soon.
It just felt like an unfinished game for me. I had everything unlocked tho.

Nico, the trampoline stage can be completed by doing a mid air trampoline jump. You throw the trampoline down when you grab it and jump in mid air and jump off of it

Nico, in world 5-2 you can get over the boos and coins with a spring jump, but in the next section there is a small room filled with coins that you sadly cant duck under or jump over.

I know this is old but at 2:26 you can beat it by pressing start over a bunch of times until it gives you an assist item to spin jump and break the blocks

5:18 Once I reach this part there, I just couldn’t get over those coins on the conveyor belt.
Bouncing on a trampoline doesn’t bounce me high enough to dodge those Boos, so this one looks impossible.
Spoiler alert: 8-1 is a 1-up bomb but that's mainly because 8-2, which you either had to use a Goomba Shoe for something I can't remember the shoe was for or do some ridiculously difficult almost Japanese style platforming with Buzzy Beetles is a *NIGHTMARE!* I spent at least a solid three hours trying to only do 8-1 once and directly move on to 8-2 and attempt to go through it. I even replayed 8-1 until I got 100 lives just to avoid a game over and that almost doubled the time I spent just on 8-2 alone. I was fortunately able to clear it and was dangerously close to throwing the game away by flushing the cartridge down a toilet. Or at least let it stay in the water long enough to short it out....
Some of these posts about "Is it possible to beat [insert very hard game here] without losing your sanity?" got me thinking about a different challenge.
Is it possible to beat Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem w/o ever regaining sanity? Once your sanity meter bottoms out, any further attacks on your sanity will start causing health damage instead. Might have to also avoid easy health restoring spells to make it a challenge, but considering simply being spotted by an enemy can cause sanity loss, it could really take it's toll. Plus, you get the bonus of seeing the game's full array of sanity effects, which are awesome. Not sure if any TH-camrs would try that, but it'd be fun to watch I think.
That jump in 5-2 is definitely possible if you pick up the spring, jump, drop it in midair, and jump off of it, it’s not super difficult and definitely doable in a try or two

for 2-4, if you fail enough times, I believe you get a powerup, so you could break the blocks, grab the p switch, and time it just right to break them all, but it hink that there is a section that's still impossible, im not too sure, keep that in mind for all the other levels by the way

Hey Nico, since Super Mario Maker 2 recently came out, I had a video idea for you! What about "Is It Possible to Beat Story Mode in Super Mario Maker 2 Without Touching A Single Coin?" So, you're probably thinking, "Well, it's not possible because you're supposed to collect coins in story mode to rebuild the castle!" The thing is, technically, you're not touching the coins you automatically get for completing the course. You can collect in the course itself, but that's optional and they are counted as extra coins. Please reply to this comment. I really hope you take this idea into consideration.

9:38 Sadly, 9-3 has thousands and thousands of coins everywhere... On those pipes, you need to wall jump a lot. Afraid that Nintendo will have to add coins everywhere to this level to tell you where the jump is possible.

5-2 is actually completely possible if that's the only bad spot. A well timed jump on the spring should give you the right height. You gotta be like really close to the coins, AND dodge the Boos, but stil possiblel. Also it's a cake walk if you know how to spring jump, which is one of the EASIEST Kaizo tricks to pull off in SMM.
