Common with air bnb in the gulf coast. Unscrupulous agents will list the home across several platforms at different prices. The excuses always plumbing. After the second time it happened to our family we never use Airbnb again.

Some jerk is scamming people with ads to rent different houses in that area. We almost fell for a scam but I googled the address and called the only business on that island which was across the street. The manger said that the home had been foreclosed on.
