Thank you and again thank you. I have watched this and other videos with mufflers for HD 750 Street / Street Rod. Finally decided to go for S&S Muffler and S&S Stealth Air Cleaner. Both for HD Street 750. That changed completly made me fall in love with bike again. As all bikes, HD Street 750 is not perfect, but it is one great bike, that I enjoy more then I have 80% of other bikes I had. But this muffler change, sound it makes, sound air cleaner makes, made this so awesome bike, that really few bikes can compare sound wise. Love it. Simply love it.
"Definitely not a sowing machine anymore"... Indeed it's not! It's sound like a Harley now. I was thinking if I should get a Street Rod by the end of the year and my main concern was the muffler, but that S&S sounds perfect.
Hey Ivan. Thanks. Yeah, huge difference. Sounds even better when you're standing next to the bike too. Happy to hear you're considering an SR. It's a really fun bike to ride and it performs really well. I keep up with my buddies on their R6s and R9s cruising through the twisty Arizona mountains. A buddy of mine is actually going to trade in his Sporty 883 for one because he loved riding my bike. Good luck with your purchase. Post some vids!
Any idea how much it weighs compared to stock. I think V&H is the lightest available Also I have mine with the S&S air cleaner and FP3 makes a big difference compared to stock
We're talking maybe a few pounds. But on a 515 pound street rod... you won't notice any difference in weight. Buy what sounds good. Performance wise, V&H and S&S perform equally. If you like the sound and looks of one over the other, then get that.
Sounds really Great!!! Only a question, you're wearing the Db Killers when you're filming?¿ I live in Spain, and here we're pursued for beeing too "noosy", especially in the city's, that's why I'm answering that question... Thanks!
Hi bro... Nice video. Can you make video sound check on this pipe outside running. Just for a minute or 2. Just want to check if its too loud. I dont like vance and hines pipe cause its too loud.
It's just the stock air cleaner insert on all Street Rods. Coincidentally, I replaced it about 3 weeks ago with this... www.harley-davidson.com/store/screamin-eagle-air-cleaner-insert. I installed a screaming eagle filter about a month back.
@kevin - the only aftermarket full pipe/muffler setup i've seen is the Vance & Hines. I considered the V&H slip on, but went with S&S because I liked the sound more. the V&H looks pretty good though. post a vid if you do a full replacement. would love to see your setup. cheers.
@@blessedheart3917 looks like the kit i saw might only be for the street 750, not the street rod. it was the big radius 2 pipes. saw it on JP Cycles website. sry for the confusion.
Just bought a bike same as yours with the s&s muffler, still waiting for the carrier ship to me, do you need to remap or install the power commander to richen the bike?
NIce. You dont necessarily need to, but adding a tune will definitely make it run better. I chose the Vance & Hines FP3 over the PC for this bike, unless you plan on having it professionally tuned and need more tuning params. The FP3 already has some stock tunes for these short pipes and it's super simple to flash. Good luck with your mods and ride safe.

@xander Great choices my friend. Ride safe.

Great choice! I've heard some crappy sounding exhausts on Streets. I use S&S pipes on my Harley's too, they sound great on EVO too.
Agreed!
Great video to know how to install it !!! can you tell me if the S&S sound is with or without DB killer ..please? best regards
Javier Sanchez Delgado it’s how it came in the box. did nothing. when you’re on the road at 60-70 mph, it’s loud. i have to wear earplugs.
@@StreetRodAZ My god ..imagine without db killer ....!!!!
Javier Sanchez Delgado i’d be deaf. lol

The pipe is stock S&S. No modifications

I can tell you it's just as loud as the V&H pipe. I'll post something on instagram though and send you a link.
Where did you get the XG 750 side stickers? Very cool looking....

StreetRodAZ, how do you like the screaming eagle filter? Did it do much?
Do they make headers for this bike to move pipe location? I hate the fact they put a heal gaurd on pipe to protect boots.

@@StreetRodAZ I have the Vance and Hines on mines. i love it. now people can actually HEAR me now...
Nice muffler.
I suggest if the silencer is modified to two
Not sure what that means.
Can you post a link on where to purchase the slip on muffler thanks.
