i would look into something else for your first bike. maybe smaller displacement. SR750 is a lot of fun to ride, but not a great first bike. But that’s just my opinion. if you want to get one, get one. Whatever you end up getting, make sure it has antilock brakes. It will save your life, especially during the first 18 months. Which statistically, you have a 90% chance of some sort of accident during your first 18 months.
great video, good job,for gap on rear fender you can use any old pice of plastic{old oil canister, pet botle}cut it on mesure and secure with tights, its light and free
Hey, got a silly question... Looking to buy an HD Street Rod 750, are the bolts and nuts on this machine in Metric or Imperial / Inches ? Tools in imperial here in my country are expensive and hard to find. Thanks for sharing this tail tidy installation ;-)
hi paul. sorry for the late response. can you post a quick video of it? i didn’t have any issues with the cowl. is it loose? more details will definitely help.
I just put a stage one on mine, with a Vance and Hines HO pipe. Replaced back back tire with different brand also. I think I am going to remove the fender as well, looks way better with out it
Nice. I considered the V&H pipe but went with the S&S instead because I preferred the sound. Check out my New Rage Cycles tail tidy video. It looks killer. Also, I will be giving away the TuffSide tail tidy when this channel reaches 300 subs.
I really like the tuffside products. I put this kit on my bike and plan on adding their super tall boy seat to give my 6 foot frame a little more leg room.
@@kristopherlopez2763 So the SR750 is heavy. 515 lbs (234 kgs) with a full tank of gas. That might be a lot to handle for a first bike, when you consider other bikes in the same class come in around 400 lbs. Since this is your first, I would suggest whatever you get, get antilock brakes. I've locked the wheels on my SR750 (no ABS on mine) and if it wasn't for my years of MX experience, I probably would have gone down.
yes if you dont expect xtreme riding tru corners, brake are ok,if you dont have abs on rear brake just dont use it,it hava good control becouse of bright dragbar, power delivery is constant, enouf torqe in all rews, you can slowly crusing or push 600 boys on their limits when you get more experience,I just love her
Would require a significant amount of fabrication to get it to fit. You'd have to cut off the flanges, make new ones, weld them and probably bend the pipes. Would be cheaper to just get some custom exhaust made that looks like the Bassani. The other thing you need to contend with is the loss of back pressure not using a 2 into 1. The revolution motor likes back pressure. These bikes aren't exactly torque machines and if you remove the back pressure from the 2 into 1 configuration, your 0-60 time will suffer.
Jan Cynric Maningas I didn’t get the alarm so i didn’t need to disconnect. But the alarm shouldn’t be integrated directly with the tail lights. If it is, Harley made a poor design choice.
I really wouldn't mind one of these Street Rod motorbikes. There are some things about them I don't like. Better than the Street versions. But nice bike.
That was my very first YT video. Shot and edited on my phone. Pretty crappy quality indeed. While I'm still no Steven Spielberg, they've definitely gotten better over time. Ride safe brother.
I guess I am the odd duck since I like how it looks with the rear fender better than without but you did a good job. I enjoyed watching. Thanks.
That's cool bro. Everyone likes what they like. Thanks for watching. Ride safe.
I enjoyed the video and love the new look. I am a new rider and want to know if street rod 750 would be a good fit for new rider.

hi, can you tell me where I can order this eliminator? searching the internet, without success. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

looks like they’re out of stock right now.

Great tip!
Can put vance an Hines short shot exhaust in street rod ??
Nope. They don't fit.
Yes they do...I have one on mine
Go to Harley and order it, I just put one on my bike with the stage 1
@@mlua02 I think he's referring to this... www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/vance-hines-shortshots-staggered-exhaust-for-harley
That won't fit without some custom mods.
Vance & Hines also makes one. I installed it on my 18 XG750A. It comes with LED license plate lights.
Yep
…now you have to delete the original turn indicators, they seem too big…
I got rid of the Tuffside and switched to New Rage Cycles. Watch my other video. th-cam.com/video/LCXYY63euI8/w-d-xo.html

Metric I believe. I've been using metric sockets and allens.
The instructions from the website say you dont need that metal bracket, tail light only bolts back in using the 2 8mm bolts.
This video was made 6 years ago for the first generation tail tidys. Things have changed since then.
I just got the same fender eliminator put it on and for some reason my cowl don’t fit right do you have any suggestions?

Thanks for this video! it REALLY helped during install on mine. The downloadable instructions aren't that great. Thumbs up from UK 👍
Glad it was helpful. It was one of my first vids and looking back in it... pretty rookie compared to my newer ones. Ride safe.

Cool may do the same , I hated my mirrors upright so inverted them .

I am in the same boat, 6'2" and need a lil more reach myself, let me know how you like it
Their Brat Rod Seat is actually higher than the Super tall boy seat for Street rod models. So it's the best bet for tall people
Haven't seen a tall seat. Just the low ones. Post a link.
Would this be a good starter bike?
Really depends on your riding experience.

Did you measure the angle of the license plate? Does it still fit?
It fits.
Hope you don't get mud on your back.Good video
There's no mud here in AZ. lol
Where can I get this? thank you.

Anything is better than the standard Streets
can't wait to get rid of those turn signals
@TEAM LL - have you seen the New Rage Cycles LED Fender Eliminator For Harley Street Rod? I might have to get it. Pretty slick. Revzilla has it.
@@StreetRodAZ i got it already !!
I bought one from India as the bike is made there and they do a lot of custom bits...
I am in the UK
Nice. Mine was built in Kansas City, Missouri.
Top video mate👌🏼
Thanks brother. Ride safe.
Good vid. Picking my bike uo on Tuesdat and a tail tidy here is over $100..I will contact your guy...cheers
Awesome. Good luck
The bike really looks better. It's more manly now. I would buy one. That's Definitely a man's bike now.
Thx
There's a better one you can get from Harley Davidson that replaces the turn signal lights with LEDs.
Paul O'Neal I’ll get that because I hate the huge signals

There will always be a better one. Like the NRC tail tidy.
$40? for a bracket and a couple of zip-ties? Seriously
Nope. They now cost $88. :-)

All that time and it still looks like shit. You didn't delete the fender, you removed the oversized license plate plastic bracket under the fender.
Perhaps this is more to your liking.... th-cam.com/video/LCXYY63euI8/w-d-xo.html
It looks like an quail bird tail
ted celestino just swapped it out with a new rage cycles tail. check out my other vid to see.
@@StreetRodAZ just watched it, to me its very ok ....
Harley created the ugliest looking bikes up until I saw this video.
Appreciate that. Thanks.
