I think I want to try the Chichicapa. I've only had one kind of Mezcal, but i want to try more.
That cocktail you made at the end sounds good!

Your channel is best when it comes to introductions of different liquors, you cut the bs and deliver the info smoothly and describe the flavors of the different kinds of brands satisfactorily. Keep up the great work, I'm sure you have a bright future ahead if you keep on working on these vids, until you get the fame you deserve, my virtual bartender.

Thank you! These intros are quite a bit more hard to prep for than when I make just a cocktail but worth it.
And when I get comments like these it makes me do a “happy dance”. Thanks for making my day!

They way I was brought up is that mezcal is basically the moonshine of Mexico being made “en la sierra or en El Monte ” the mountains. I always loved taking shots of mezcal with my tios it’s a drink I can always look back upon.

Trying with a copita or more of an open glass might get rid of the need to add water to such a good mezcal line up.

Thanks for sharing. I have recently changed my tasting glass to a stemless cup with a slightly bigger bowl and will try with those. I also add water because I typically fill them 4 episodes a time and need to make sure I don’t get to a point that I can’t do them all :) thanks for stopping by!

I make a cocktail that is a riff on James Bond’s Vesper. I call it a smoking Vespa. 3/4 oz mezcal, 3/4 oz Cocci Americano, 1.5 oz Beefeaters gin. Stir on ice. Double strain into a Nick and Nora. Garnish with a twist of Lemmon.

I just had a conversation recently about Mezcal with Uncle Pete for an upcoming PubCrawl. It’s a super blind spot for me. I’ve had maybe 3 mezcals ever in my life and I’m not thoroughly impressed. However I’m definitely interested in learning/trying more. Fantastic video Livio. Cheers pal! 🥃

I tried their "100% Tobala" and "Minero" too (the same tested in this video).. they're phenomenal, incredibly raw and tasty at the same time. Just ordered the "Wild Jabali" can't wait to taste it💚SALUD

Too bad you ruined the balance of each glass by adding water.
