Just place on a mug of hot water and give it a spin and you're up and running; as long as enough temperature difference maintains, it will keep running like Forrest Gump. People will be shocked and surprised once this little engine start to work. It will definitely be a GREAT CONVERSATION PIECE on your desk.
People bought it for kids' science project, physics/mechanics learning, demonstration on class, etc. It's a well-designed and crafted mechanical toy; great to display basic principle of external combustion engines; fantastic gift for people you love. Many people bought our machines as gift to families, teachers, friends, boyfriends and seldom will our machines failed to cheer them up!
With elegant design and fine workmanship, this is a beautiful piece of art. Many people are satisfied with the fit and finish of our engine.
Complies with the applicable regulations and standards under CPSIA and any other acts enforced by CPSC; passed Toxic Elements Test/Flammability Test/Physical and Mechanical Test of ASTM-963 Standard Customer Safety Specification For Toy Safety.
If the one you receive does not work, which rarely happens, simply send us a message and we will mail you another FREE WITH NO HESITATION.

I can't believe it can be this good
Living in Scandinavia, the most energy demand peaks in the winter. Sterling engines uses the temperature difference so by "harvest" the plustemperature in lakes or in the ground to one side of the sterling engine and the other to the cold air, it should make more energy the colder the airtemperature gets. Or am I missing something? Maybe something for the arctic and antarctic regions!
You would be surprised there are modern application for such external combustion engines. Swedish designed hard to detect submarine is using one for its propulsion for example.
Wow, nice.
You can run these on pretty much any heat source with any temperature difference. You could set it on the room temperature table and set a piece of ice on the cold side and it would run for a good while
interesting, good person talking
Put the boiling water in a thermos and put the engine on that. Will run a lot longer.
Itll run until it cools off? evaporates?
Awesome bro 😍🙌🏼
It's self starts, if you start it! haha
Sorry for such a wierd question, but can you turn it upside down?
Just turning it upside down, definitely not. But with a lot of effort, you probably could.
I have one and you could
need this for my laptop lol
What makes this machine inneficient or non viable?
I’m not an engineer so don’t quote me, but I can think of a few reason. One It is slow to respond to change. Because a change in power output with a striking engine requires a change in temperature and that would take too long (to, for example, power a car, which needs to accelerate as soon as you press the pedal). Also, this has just enough power to move the perfectly balanced wheel; it doesn’t have enough power to do any valuable work (i.e. if you hooked a band to the fly-wheel to power something like a fan it would not be able to run). Obviously by increasing the number of chambers or the size of the chambers/wheel you could increase the power and eventually run something off of it, but I’m assuming that by the time you would increase the size enough to, say, power a garage door, it would take up much much more space than a battery motor, gas motor, etc. Not to even mention powering a car.
I don’t care though. It’s still cool that the fucking heat of your hand can make motion. Mine will get delivered here in a few days.
Mine isn't working as it used too, the glass part came out and I put it back in but now it's not working as it used too
How did you hook the bits together? My hooks just fall off!
@@hilaryjackson4636 I managed to get it back on in the end but did your hook come off at the base where they're screwed in because if so you'll need a very thing screwdriver, but what I did with the glass was cleaned it with a microfiber and got everything off it and put it back in and it started working fine
Is it a good indicator that tea is ready to drink when it slows down? 🤔
No because it would only slow down because the cold side warmed to match the heat of the hot side. You can run these at almost any surface, it would even run just sitting in the palm of your hand and keep running until the cold side warmed up to match. Unless you cooled the cold side to maintain a temperature difference.
Yes vary
you know you can run it using your hand right? just place it on your hand for a litlte bit.
you can run it on pretty much any material
Not this one
Lol
Mine ran for 2 hours and 1 minute
How is this low temp engine? Should be called high temperature
funny.. not so practical but interesting
STEAMPUNK ! ! ! ! !
