- Spent a nice warm day at the castle which isn’t too far from me, and I saw a few new things :)
Alnwick Castle most recently featured in Transformers: The Last Knight, and as the magnificent Brancaster Castle in Downton Abbey's 2015 and 2016 Christmas specials. Having already featured as Hogwarts in the first two Harry Potter films, as well as appearing in Elizabeth and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, among others, the castle is no stranger to film crews!

Unfortunately they do not allow photography inside the residential part of the castle which is a shame but photos can be seen online of the various rooms.

Thank you posting this video. I used too live near Alnk. Castle. I used too go often with the family. And visit the castle. It has good memory’s. Of the. Visits with mam and dad. Years have past. I am going. Too be sixty. In three years time. It’s a beautiful castle. All the castles in the north of England are really worth visiting. The north of England is very beautiful. Very beautiful Alnwick Castle outside and inside. Have many old things inside castle and outside the castle very beautiful views and lot nature.

Thank you, yes its a great day out, lots of history and the location is also used in many movies :) I think Transformers was one of the more recent ones.

This must be on the d bucket lists of harry harry potter's fans, (like my girl 😉, I didn't even knew harry is an orphan until she told me of d story lol) It's a huge, wonderful castle, no doubt why directors love to make film here, but too bad its not allowed to take pictures inside hmmn Percy family can we be friends? 😁 hmnn downtown abbey is a tv series too i think and oh Robin Hood 😍 .i wonder if some part of Amandine Malabul movie was also being filmed here 🤔.. why crazy golf? hehehe thank u again Raybo for the tour and making our dreams come true (to visit one of d famous castle n d world! 🤩). have a blissful Monday...
