@@yeussean If you mean how did I trace my ancestry to him it was accidental. He is descended from King Henry III and so am I. Not uncommon at all. Lots of research but the path is there for those who look.
I am also a descendent of the Percy family. My grandfather loved to say we were descendants of Hotspur…My name is Joseph Percy and we are likely distant cousins.
Coming from Norway, a visit to Alnwick some day is on my ‘100’ list. This part of England has such an overwhelming amount of integrated history between the brutal people invading from the north that are my ancestors and all the other tribes, cultures etc that eventually merged there over time.
My husband and my daughter are both descendant s of the Percy family, I'm excited that someone finally took on this project
