If they go against each other and know that the other one is a stand user while having no actual knowledge about the stand's abilities then Alessi would most likely win. While The Grateful Dead is all around really viable and usefull stand, Sethan is too powerful stand for 1v1 especially if the opponent received stand in recent years. Think about Alessi vs Polnareff if Polnareff got his stand AFTER meeting Dio. Polnareff would die there. His younger self would just forget all about the stands and wouldn't be able to even see them. The only reason Polnareff got to live was that he was a stand user since really young age. And this would happen to Prosciutto. He would probably made Alessi older by a few years before Sethan would take its effect but right after that Alessi would steamroll Prosciutto. Prosciutto would lose his stand and most likely ability to see stands. It would also change his personality since he probably wasn't a gangster since his young age and thus even lose his will to fight back or he would suddenly be scared or something similar. And after some molesting, probably, Alessi would end Prosciutto, and that would also cancel the aging effect on Alessi, probably.

Alessi is a good case of irony. His stand causes others to become children when he himself is extremely childlike. Avoiding contact with adults and avoiding direct combat with adults. I also don’t think it’s too much of a stretch to say his sadism is pretty childlike as well. Cuz children are cruel.
Prosciutto's genuine love for his brother really touched me, and I was feeling torn in that train arc. Of course I'd grown attatched to our main characters and wanted them to win, but a part of me was cheering their dynamic duo on. Seeing him and his brother work together, Prosciutto cheering his brother on and genuinely believing in his ability to win kind of made me cheer them on. Their bond was so heart warming honestly.
Matthew Matthewsons its a small charriot that roams around with huge boots and it sometimes trips. If you try to get the requiem arrow he either throws a tantrum or bites your hand

In eyes of heaven prosciutto is a stage hazard and he makes the players go slower due to aging, but characters like dio and vanilla ice aren’t affected because they are vampires
It just depends on who initiates the attack and where. If Prosciutto were to attack first in an open area, Alessi would just bolt as soon as he feels something's wrong, but in an enclosed space Alessi would undoubtedly lose. If Alessi were to attack first, be it in an open or closed space, he'd most likely be the victor, but it just depends on if younger Prosciutto could use Greatful Dead, assuming he isn't aged back before a point where he's actually capable of fighting. But what matters most is that Prosciutto could win under more scenarios than Alessi could.

I really like Prosciutto and Pesci's relationships. Mostly Prosciutto's my personal favorite character because he is more calm and collected. He's willpower is absolute, even when he's thrown off a train and is dying.
The thing is, if Prosciutto and Alessi knew about each others' stand powers, Prosciutto would win, however, in a more likely situation, without both of them not knowing what others' stand can do, Alessi would win. Why? Prosciutto's stand was gained through an arrow, therefore he will lose it the moment Alessi will strike, just like Jotaro. And yes. It is most likely, that Alessi would be the first one to strike. Also, unlike GD, Sethan's effect does not rely on body heat or stress.
If it's mutual agnosticism, _Ruthless Mobster_ Prosciutto will activate his ability once Alessi is within train's length of distance. By the time Alessi runs up to Prosciutto, Alessi will be aged to dust.

It wasnt body heat or stress or adrenaline or anything, it was the fact that women have colder body temperatures so it detects who has lower temperatures to decide whether or not thats the target.
You'd die. Sethan removes dozens of years within a second or so of time and does so until you revert back to your earliest possible state, Grateful Dead, even when he was going all out, still took several minutes to noticeably age people. As long as you're in sethan's shadow you'll de-age faster than GD can age you.
I wonder what would happen if you used Sethan in a place that is already full of shadows, like a dark room or the countryside in the middle of the night. Would he merge with the darkness or simply retain his bird shape and be camouflaged?
It's a stand that has the form of a shadow, it's not a shadow per-se: There has been no hint of shadow manipulation (as merging himself with darkness/other people/objects' shadow), it's just the stand moving on its user accord, alas with the limited range and with Sethan's eyes giving away stand's position, it might not be much different than used in the broad light. Although, if Alessi were able to strike in the same unexpected and tightly spaced fashion as Prosciutto, I wonder if he'd been able to extend Sethan in order to simultaneosly hit several people.
Sethan is bound to Alessi's shadow, and he has full control over his shadow within his normal range of 2 meters (able to freely modify it regardless of light levels). However he can get a longer range if something causes his shadow to grow larger than that.
Seth: E in range , looks like 7-20 meters even more in the anime star platinum: C in range , 2-5 meters , stated is 2 meters that's how stand stats work
Stats don't really make sense, but you could say that Seth has E in range because it's completely bound to Alessi, while SP can stay 2 meters apart from Jotaro, therefore having an C

Geb is explicitly mentioned to be a stand bound to water (and is visible to normal people because of this). It works similar to the Fool in that N'Doul can possess any body of water within his range and use it to attack with. Aqua Necklace is actually superior due to it being able to accurately attack from it's full range, while N'doul has to rely on sound and vibration to determine attack range since his stand is blind like he is.

Not how Grateful Dead works. It seems more to “ripen” people than flat out age them, seen with a baby who got wrinkly but didn’t get bigger. Joseph would likely have a quick degradation, but he wouldn’t be senile or even rely on things like a cane.
Sethan's reverse aging ability's process makes sense since he's a psycho who loves tormenting children, it mames sense that the younger you become in his shadow, the slower you age to maximize his sadist desires to hurt the weak

Hey, xForts love the stand videos by the way but I want to bring up something about Sethan range. If you think about it the sun can be a factor because at an angle the sun can make your shadow spread out more. I don't know if this is true or not in manga or anime but it could be a factor.
Hey, Sale vs Annasui guy here. I'm back to once again recommend the fight. If you need a refresher, Sale has Kraftwerk, a stand capable of "fixing" anything in place by touching it with himself or his stand. Any force applied to those objects will be gathered then released when they are moving again. It is a short range power type. Diver Down has 2 main abilities. First, it can store a force in an object, releasing it when he so pleases, such as kicking a wall and then letting that kick explode out of it later. The other one is that diver Down can dive through a surface, and stay in there. It can also mess with the shape of the object, such as making your legs springs. Sale is a fighter who takes very measured risks, being exceedingly careful. Annasui is also a tactician. They have such similar stand powers and character types that I would love to see this fight.
Just a tip, you should add "Stand off" to the titles, it would help people identify the videos faster and I see it as a more organized channel when they separate stuff like that it's totally up to you, I just feel like it would look more professional

Sethan deages Polnareff in a matter of MOMENTS and just with ONE touch. Grateful Dead works in a bigger area, but also rather slow. Grateful Dead simply can't out-DPS Sethan. Sethan would win against Grateful Dead, but Prosciutto wins against Alessi.

I think asseli is based on light, where if the light is at the right angle, it will have a longer range but the shadow can move in a circle around its user staying the same size unless the light is facing that way which will make it bigger
tbh sethan is an extremely underrated stand because if you touch it for even half a second you are reverted to an 8 year old from a 30~ year old, and non stand users cant see it but are still affected by it

Regarding that range thing, stand range in general determines how far the whole stand can be away from its user. For example Alessi was able to extend Sethan, but could not detach Sethan's shadow from himself. On the other hand, Stands like Steely Dan's Lovers could move its whole body very far away from its user in order to hurt Joseph, without Lovers having to remain bound to Steely Dan with some sort of shadow or string.
Very good video, however you forgot to mention that when Seth makes a person younger, unless they are a natural born stand user (like Polnareff and Kakyoin) they will lose access to their stand if they are turned younger than when they got it like what happened with Jotaro, that's why he punched Alessi and not Star Platinum, so if Prosciutto got his stand from Polpo's test then he would lose it under the effects of Seth
Prosciutto easily wins as he can age himself completely negating Alessi's de-aging ability and The Grateful Dead has a much longer effective range 'nuff said (also Alessi is from Egypt a quite hot country so he probs has high body heat and even so he probs has high body heat)

Alessi got his stand from black sabbath 5 years before he died on the train so Set would turn him into a scrawny kid without a stand with a half second shadow touch. 3. body heat doesn't work that way if anything he'd be colder because his body has to stay cold in the heat.

In eyes of heaven prosciutto is a stage hazard and he makes the players go slower due to aging, but characters like dio and vanilla ice aren’t affected because they are vampires

It just depends on who initiates the attack and where. If Prosciutto were to attack first in an open area, Alessi would just bolt as soon as he feels something's wrong, but in an enclosed space Alessi would undoubtedly lose. If Alessi were to attack first, be it in an open or closed space, he'd most likely be the victor, but it just depends on if younger Prosciutto could use Greatful Dead, assuming he isn't aged back before a point where he's actually capable of fighting. But what matters most is that Prosciutto could win under more scenarios than Alessi could.

I really like Prosciutto and Pesci's relationships. Mostly Prosciutto's my personal favorite character because he is more calm and collected. He's willpower is absolute, even when he's thrown off a train and is dying.

The thing is, if Prosciutto and Alessi knew about each others' stand powers, Prosciutto would win, however, in a more likely situation, without both of them not knowing what others' stand can do, Alessi would win. Why? Prosciutto's stand was gained through an arrow, therefore he will lose it the moment Alessi will strike, just like Jotaro. And yes. It is most likely, that Alessi would be the first one to strike. Also, unlike GD, Sethan's effect does not rely on body heat or stress.

Also - Didnt GD's ability not work on colder temperatures because prosciutto didnt want to kill thrish? Thats what i got from it? It wasnt body heat or stress or adrenaline or anything, it was the fact that women have colder body temperatures so it detects who has lower temperatures to decide whether or not thats the target.

You'd die. Sethan removes dozens of years within a second or so of time and does so until you revert back to your earliest possible state, Grateful Dead, even when he was going all out, still took several minutes to noticeably age people.
As long as you're in sethan's shadow you'll de-age faster than GD can age you.

It's a stand that has the form of a shadow, it's not a shadow per-se:
There has been no hint of shadow manipulation (as merging himself with darkness/other people/objects' shadow), it's just the stand moving on its user accord, alas with the limited range and with Sethan's eyes giving away stand's position, it might not be much different than used in the broad light.
Although, if Alessi were able to strike in the same unexpected and tightly spaced fashion as Prosciutto, I wonder if he'd been able to extend Sethan in order to simultaneosly hit several people.
Sethan is bound to Alessi's shadow, and he has full control over his shadow within his normal range of 2 meters (able to freely modify it regardless of light levels). However he can get a longer range if something causes his shadow to grow larger than that.

Geb is explicitly mentioned to be a stand bound to water (and is visible to normal people because of this). It works similar to the Fool in that N'Doul can possess any body of water within his range and use it to attack with.
Aqua Necklace is actually superior due to it being able to accurately attack from it's full range, while N'doul has to rely on sound and vibration to determine attack range since his stand is blind like he is.

Not how Grateful Dead works. It seems more to “ripen” people than flat out age them, seen with a baby who got wrinkly but didn’t get bigger. Joseph would likely have a quick degradation, but he wouldn’t be senile or even rely on things like a cane.

Hey, Sale vs Annasui guy here. I'm back to once again recommend the fight. If you need a refresher, Sale has Kraftwerk, a stand capable of "fixing" anything in place by touching it with himself or his stand. Any force applied to those objects will be gathered then released when they are moving again. It is a short range power type. Diver Down has 2 main abilities. First, it can store a force in an object, releasing it when he so pleases, such as kicking a wall and then letting that kick explode out of it later. The other one is that diver Down can dive through a surface, and stay in there. It can also mess with the shape of the object, such as making your legs springs. Sale is a fighter who takes very measured risks, being exceedingly careful. Annasui is also a tactician. They have such similar stand powers and character types that I would love to see this fight.
Just a tip, you should add "Stand off" to the titles, it would help people identify the videos faster and I see it as a more organized channel when they separate stuff like that

One of the reasons why I love JoJo is because it takes the idea of making someone fight for you, but then it ALSO being you who fights. Hence the idea of Stands.
Sethan wouldn't be able to affect the grateful dead as the grateful dead can age it's user so even if the user was stand within sethan the grateful dead could just age it's user back to the correct age or even just out dps the getting younger by aging the user at the same time

I think asseli is based on light, where if the light is at the right angle, it will have a longer range but the shadow can move in a circle around its user staying the same size unless the light is facing that way which will make it bigger

tbh sethan is an extremely underrated stand because if you touch it for even half a second you are reverted to an 8 year old from a 30~ year old, and non stand users cant see it but are still affected by it

Regarding that range thing, stand range in general determines how far the whole stand can be away from its user.
For example Alessi was able to extend Sethan, but could not detach Sethan's shadow from himself.
On the other hand, Stands like Steely Dan's Lovers could move its whole body very far away from its user in order to hurt Joseph, without Lovers having to remain bound to Steely Dan with some sort of shadow or string.
Would say theres no real contest tbh, prosciutto could also reverse the age reversal with his own stand by increasing his body temperature.

Very good video, however you forgot to mention that when Seth makes a person younger, unless they are a natural born stand user (like Polnareff and Kakyoin) they will lose access to their stand if they are turned younger than when they got it like what happened with Jotaro, that's why he punched Alessi and not Star Platinum, so if Prosciutto got his stand from Polpo's test then he would lose it under the effects of Seth
Prosciutto easily wins as he can age himself completely negating Alessi's de-aging ability and The Grateful Dead has a much longer effective range

1. The age doesnt physically make you older. A baby turned into a baby sized old man. 2. Alessi got his stand from black sabbath 5 years before he died on the train so Set would turn him into a scrawny kid without a stand with a half second shadow touch. 3. body heat doesn't work that way if anything he'd be colder because his body has to stay cold in the heat.
