If fujitora cut the strings the navy would have ordered him to take down doflamingo which would defeat the purpose fuji was trying to do. fuji wanted luffy to defeat them so fujitora could say the navy couldn't take doflamingo down because he was a warlord, therefore making the warlord system abolished. Fujitora probably knows ryou which would give him a big advantage over doffy
I'd like to think Zoro would actually have done really well against Dofla considering the strings are essentially blades that he could have blocked. Luffy & Sanji were at a disadvantage because the only way they had to protect themselves was Haki which forced them on the defensive a lot of the time while Zoro could block AND strike in the same movement
I think Zoro could deal with Doffy's string attacks, but Zoro lacks air mobility - something sorely needed if Doflamingo uses his awakened abilities to turn the battlefield against him. I'm sure Zoro can jump in the air but without the flight abilities that Luffy or Sanji possesses, Zoro would end up being wide open for a devastating hit.

Tiger and Dragon always have a lore behind them in Japanese/Chinese mythology. Tiger always fight Dragon in the lore. Tiger representing earth, while dragon representing heaven. That's why there's a lot of story with Tiger and Dragon in them. I won't be surprised if Zoro will be the one that land the final blow on Kaido, or at least weakened Kaido by opening his scar, especially since he got the connection with Oden through Enma.

To tekking, we all know zoro’a kitetsu is going to break mid battle. And we’re all expecting him to be given the nidai mid battle. But what if he’s given the Ame no Habakiri and has a complete set for the battle? All 3 swords made from the same sword smith. Wado, enma, and habakiri. And he gives Kaido a new scar. And once kaido is defeated, he returns habakiri, but is given the nidai as a reward before leaving Wano.

I think I can see how the fight can play out. Zoro reaches the top and sends Marco back down. Kaido tells Big Mom to sit the fight out, which BM doesn't really care about (she also never met Zoro so doesn't really have anything against him). Kaido stays in his human form or hybrid form doesn't matter too much (hybrid would be more hype). They both prepare Kaido tells Zoro not to disappoint him. And it's a classic two samurai instant death 1 move clash, Kadio uses thunder bagua. Zoro uses his strongest ability so far and one we haven't seen before. After the clash the both stand on opposite sides facing away from each other. Luffy and majority of everyone else joining the fight against Kaido reaches the top. Kaido's old wound then burst out into blood and he let's out a scream. Kaido acknowledges Zoro as a samurai that is on Kozuki Oden's level and says maybe there are still strong young ones out there. Zoro then knocks out after the clash. This would pretty much accomplish 3 things. 1: Kaido's "weak point" is now open. 2: Zoro is acknowledged as one of the strongest swordsmen ever and is that much closer to his goal to be #1 swordsman. 3: Zoro can sit out the first half of the fight to make a late fight dramatic hero's return. This would technically be an L for Zoro but the fanbase would lose their collective shit about this. And would be a major W for Zoro. TL:DR Zoro reopens Kaido wound and goes to sleep.

You talking about alabasta made me realise, luffy has to seemingly take on(and gets beaten down easily early by) an untouchable villain(pirate) that has taken over the Island/government, meets an old man and helps him without knowing who he is and then gets the tools from that old man to defeat the villain by using these tools in a luffy way to surprise the bad guy.

I think it’s important for zoro to do well against kaido (not necessarily beat). Luffy has one of the smallest crew compared to the other yonkos. If luffy has to eventually surpass shanks, his top 2 crew mates needs to be able to put work against shanks crew (strongest average crew mates) in a theoretical fight. It also brings dynamic to the story. This formula of luffy fighting the strongest, zoro fighting the second and Sanji fighting the third only sets precedent that his crew mates at endgame can’t handle admiral/yonko level threats. Meaning endgame luffy cannot handle 2 admirals/ 2 yonkos at once. Remember roger and garp was able to handle rocks crew. Meaning Rogers commanders had to have been able to keep up with the younger versions of the yonkos. I would find it dull if the strength of luffys crew endgame only rivaled and not surpass a yonkos crew where zoro will forever only handle second commander threats, sanji third commander threats. He needs to be able to at least put up a fight against kaido

Here's a thought, dunno if it will happen Zoro gets to the roof by himself, sees Kaido and Big Mom and gets ready to face them by himself. Kaido and Big Mom don't think much of him, looking down on him figuratively and literally. Kaido brings Jack back to deal with Zoro because he thinks this fight is beneath him. Zoro beats Jack in front of the two Yonko, and it gets their attention but they still arent impressed, Kaido remarks that Jack must not have had enough time to recover and was still too weak from his previous wounds, a slight miscalculation on his part, but that it's ultimately not a big deal(doing the whole anime villain thing of underestimating the hero) Zoro pulls out Enma and Kaido's eyes go wide, he thinks back to Oden again like he did while fighting the scabbards and gets unnerved for a second, but then he steels himself and says something like, "Another pathetic attempt to copy Oden just like these other puny samurai, pffft, I'm not going to fall for this shit again, that didnt even work the first time with like 9 of them" and then Zoro just grins demonically and slices Kaido giving him a new wound to match the one Oden gave him so long ago. It doesnt kill him at all, but it scares the shit out of him and also makes him mad as hell.

To tekking, we all know zoro’a kitetsu is going to break mid battle. And we’re all expecting him to be given the nidai mid battle. But what if he’s given the Ame no Habakiri and has a complete set for the battle? All 3 swords made from the same sword smith. Wado, enma, and habakiri. And he gives Kaido a new scar. And once kaido is defeated, he returns habakiri, but is given the nidai as a reward before leaving Wano.
That would actually make sense. Doing what Oden couldn’t do with his swords.

I read somewhere that the 9 shadows prophesized to take down Kaido aren't the Red Scabbards, but are the 9-sword style, post timeskip Demon Form of Zoro's (commented before watching the video)

I think I can see how the fight can play out. Zoro reaches the top and sends Marco back down. Kaido tells Big Mom to sit the fight out, which BM doesn't really care about (she also never met Zoro so doesn't really have anything against him). Kaido stays in his human form or hybrid form doesn't matter too much (hybrid would be more hype). They both prepare Kaido tells Zoro not to disappoint him. And it's a classic two samurai instant death 1 move clash, Kadio uses thunder bagua. Zoro uses his strongest ability so far and one we haven't seen before. After the clash the both stand on opposite sides facing away from each other. Luffy and majority of everyone else joining the fight against Kaido reaches the top. Kaido's old wound then burst out into blood and he let's out a scream. Kaido acknowledges Zoro as a samurai that is on Kozuki Oden's level and says maybe there are still strong young ones out there. Zoro then knocks out after the clash.
This would pretty much accomplish 3 things.
1: Kaido's "weak point" is now open.
2: Zoro is acknowledged as one of the strongest swordsmen ever and is that much closer to his goal to be #1 swordsman.
3: Zoro can sit out the first half of the fight to make a late fight dramatic hero's return.
This would technically be an L for Zoro but the fanbase would lose their collective shit about this. And would be a major W for Zoro.
TL:DR Zoro reopens Kaido wound and goes to sleep.

I bet Marco wants a piece of kaido too, but he definitely has to fight big mom since he can damage or suppress her soul-soul abilities. I think she would have joined the battle no matter what kaido asked, as stubborn and angry at luffy as she is. Marco will probably buy zoro a few moments with kaido alone before luffy gets there. So psyched to see zoro get bandana serious again!
You talking about alabasta made me realise, luffy has to seemingly take on(and gets beaten down easily early by) an untouchable villain(pirate) that has taken over the Island/government, meets an old man and helps him without knowing who he is and then gets the tools from that old man to defeat the villain by using these tools in a luffy way to surprise the bad guy.
All of this has already happened.

@@Phantasmen Yes I can see Kaido facing the whole 'Crocodile' situation. The first step has already taken place like you said, and what is left is for Luffy to stand against or maybe damage Kaido and experience defeat, and then finally defeat Kaido once he figures out his weakness.

I think it’s important for zoro to do well against kaido (not necessarily beat). Luffy has one of the smallest crew compared to the other yonkos. If luffy has to eventually surpass shanks, his top 2 crew mates needs to be able to put work against shanks crew (strongest average crew mates) in a theoretical fight.
It also brings dynamic to the story. This formula of luffy fighting the strongest, zoro fighting the second and Sanji fighting the third only sets precedent that his crew mates at endgame can’t handle admiral/yonko level threats. Meaning endgame luffy cannot handle 2 admirals/ 2 yonkos at once.
Remember roger and garp was able to handle rocks crew. Meaning Rogers commanders had to have been able to keep up with the younger versions of the yonkos.
I would find it dull if the strength of luffys crew endgame only rivaled and not surpass a yonkos crew where zoro will forever only handle second commander threats, sanji third commander threats.
He needs to be able to at least put up a fight against kaido

Here's a thought, dunno if it will happen
Zoro gets to the roof by himself, sees Kaido and Big Mom and gets ready to face them by himself. Kaido and Big Mom don't think much of him, looking down on him figuratively and literally. Kaido brings Jack back to deal with Zoro because he thinks this fight is beneath him. Zoro beats Jack in front of the two Yonko, and it gets their attention but they still arent impressed, Kaido remarks that Jack must not have had enough time to recover and was still too weak from his previous wounds, a slight miscalculation on his part, but that it's ultimately not a big deal(doing the whole anime villain thing of underestimating the hero) Zoro pulls out Enma and Kaido's eyes go wide, he thinks back to Oden again like he did while fighting the scabbards and gets unnerved for a second, but then he steels himself and says something like, "Another pathetic attempt to copy Oden just like these other puny samurai, pffft, I'm not going to fall for this shit again, that didnt even work the first time with like 9 of them" and then Zoro just grins demonically and slices Kaido giving him a new wound to match the one Oden gave him so long ago. It doesnt kill him at all, but it scares the shit out of him and also makes him mad as hell.
So, Oda should change the series name from One Piece to 'ZOLO, THE NO SENSE OF DIRECTION SWORDSMAN'.
