Friday Newsday, the best day of the week! If you don't have the Skorponok kits from DNA you should jump on the reissues. They make him so much more impressive.
Still waiting on my Pterhowl. The recent issue with shipping from China had caused mine to stall out a bit. J-Decker was another of those Brave series of shows Takara did the designs for.
I hope that DX9 Prowl is as good as their Sideswipe ended up being. One of my favorite releases this year.
Excited for Haslab Liokaiser. Will be nice to have one to scale with the Haslab Star Saber and Deathsaurus. It's a shame it's going to be a pantsformer though.

Hasbro giving my wallet a reprieve, only thing I have to order from this update is the SS86 Constructicons. I have no connections to anything else. Especially glad the Haslab is something I don't feel the need to back. Thanks for the news and great video!

I'm in on Liokaiser. I hope it hits it's goals, I want a official Death Cobra. I bought the TFC Hades back in the day, and was hoping they would have made one. I mean MMC did the extra figure for their Predaking (although a recolor/retool of Rampage), thought TFC might follow suit. And Death Cobra can be a arm or shoulder cannon. I could finally see what that would have looked like. Anyone else wanna see that, or am I in a small rowboat alone here?
i feel like people are sort of overhating haslab liokaiser
because it does look good as a display piece it probably seems like it's gonna be one of the best combiners hasbro's ever done
the PROBLEM is it just shouldn't be a haslab
haslab's whole thing is for really dedicated collectors to have a chance at their dream figure that they'd never get otherwise due to pricing issues or retailer issues or otherwise
omega prime could've never been sold in stores
this could ABSOLUTELY have been drip fed to us just like the menasor or the devastator it's not more complex than them it's not bigger than them and it doesn't seem to have better engineering
but whatever at least we have more options for this character now
And death cobra could probably look better
It's a HasLab like the other Victory characters because not everyone is into the Japanese continuity. Hasbro believes it too much of a mass retail risk.

looking back i think i may have jumped the gun somewhat
a typical hasbro combiner is like $250 in total this is that plus an entire extra figure, an extra set of accessories, and a massive display base
it'll probably be worth the price of admission for those who want to back it
it's just that it doesn't give off "the vibe" of a premium release
though that might change when we see physical prototypes
Nice update! I am with you on Hasbro’s Constructicons. I am totally unimpressed with the individual bots, but the combined mode does look pretty wicked. If they sell it as a gift set a few years from now, I’d probably pick it up… More than anything, I’m excited for Chinese new year to be over! I want more NA and Wu stuff!

Liokaiser looks great in combined mode. He should scale well with the HasLab Deathsaurus per the Victory cartoon.
My issue is the individual modes. They look amazing from the front, but the gaps are too much for a premium product like this.
The altmodes are ok.
I got my dx9 Sideswipe, my first MP purchase, and I can say, I love him. He looks so good. If MP prices are under $100, then I might buy more, limited space be damn. My main reason for buying him is bc third parties don't have any good legends scale Sideswipe. I was going to display him in alt mode bc I love that Countach, but his bot mode is so well done that he is on display in bot mode.
I'm good with IF Liokaiser so I'm passing on Hasbro's. I'm all in on those hearts of steel bc they look so unique.

Man, i think the iron factory version looks cleaner and has better articulation. Looks more accurate too. Think im just gonna stick with the iron factory version!

Personally I never owned a single Constructicon before as far as I can remember so I'm kind of looking forward to seeing how that goes but all the 'pre-order' business sets me on edge a little. On the surface you can see the sense in building hype and awareness for a release but that's not how it goes really is it? I mean who ever heard of 'sold-out' pre-orders before the internet?
I mean the first two figures 'sold-out' quickly everywhere I saw them as did this new set almost immediately on pulse anyway. What, one might ask, is dictating these purchasing/stocking decisions? Who can say for sure.
What I will say is I'm not sure who would've thought it would be a good idea to build a dedicated fanbase on a foundation of guilt based on fear backed by scalpers and doomsaying instead of loyalty based on consistently improving quality backed by the goodwill and continuing hope this should generate but it sure seems like whoever it may have been they weren't alone as it currently permeates much of the marketplace wherever it can find any kind of foothold much of which is indeed in the online marketplace.
I'd like to say I'd even consider the haslab thing but yeah... Anyway I can see why you'd stick with what you recently completed which as I said then looks real nice although the haslab does have a certain appeal I'd say such as the scale among other things or the promise of premium levels of quality or at least one might hope... But incidentally you mentioned you had a haslab Unicron? I've been quite curious about that ever since I first started looking into this collecting marlarky but that must've been quite a while ago when you got that.
Don't suppose there's a video? It's a fairly large piece to contend with or so I'm led to understand. Do you keep it on display?
i wish that one of the Hearts of Steel sets had the Soundwave concept art as a figure instead of Bumblebee. last week in you news someone made that 3d print one for the Siege Soundwave mold. the MMC Hearts of Steel Starscream kills this new one
Man, hopefully MS and other legends will pick up now that Lunar New Year celebrations are over. Definitely on the fence for the overpriced Liokaiser that IF already knocked out of the park.

Liokaiser bots are 5.5 inches which is deluxe scale.
then thats ridiculous to charge that much for deluxes then. lol
The new Haslab LioKaiser doesn't even look as good as the nearly 9 years old TFC LioKaiser LOL. What a scam. 3rd party is killing almost everything Hasblow is putting out these days.
I'm skipping on that haslab too. The iron factory one looks way better. This one looks all wrong.
Those hearts of steel don't look bad. I wish a third party would put more love into them. like have the trains connect and add a few more characters that are the train cars. I do have that one third party that has the Tomas the tank engine and its not to bad.

Haslab page says 5.5 in. Combined mode is 12 in.
@@brianpavlina8638 I got that much and admittedly they’re on the smaller side even for voyagers but they are also self contained combiners which accounts for the scaling. Combined mode is in line with the height for the show
@ I’m not a fan of the Haslab Liokaiser. I think 3rd Party companies make better products than Hasbro & Takara. It’s too expensive for what the value should be. Good luck if you like it tho.
