Also if you are wondering how Naruto could know about rasengan, rasenshuriken or sage mode, we will suppose that he has some kind of vision of his alternative life where he unlocks them. This is a work of fiction so anything can be possible. Naruto could watch a whirlpool and think that he can do the same with chakra, thus creating the rasengan, or he could be thought by Kurama, since he was in Minato and saw the technique.
