I used some new gadgets that some cleaning gurus really influenced me to buy, some were fails, some were major hits! I deep clean some things around my house that need my attention! I just did some spring cleaning a few days ago. Got bathrooms clean, floors cleaned, laundry caught up, and everything out of place tidied up.
I have said it before, and I will say it again! I love you, you chatter on, explain everything you’re doing, you’re so natural at describing what’s going on, as a blind TH-cam watcher, that is so rare. I almost never watch cleaning videos because most of them are just songafter song and that’s it, nothing here for me at all. So, thanks for being exactly you!
Girl i been decluttering for 7 days and it feels nice. Im finishing it today and tomorrow and then starting my spring cleaning. I donated like 3 bags of toys and childrens clothes. Feels so nice.
We bought a fancy washing machine and I hated it. Way too many bells and whistles. I just need clean clothes. When it died, I bought the simplest one I could find…an agitator, 2 dials, and a start button. What a year you’ve had! Thanks for sharing the good and the sad. Cheering you on in the good and praying for you in the sad.

The best tip I ever saw someone use when hanging wall art that has the two tabs, was taking painters tape. Take the tape and take it straight on the back of the art. Puncture where the holes are, remove tape and place on the wall where you want it. Use it to guide the nails. And you can get it pretty straight with the tape. It was life changing for me
That is fantastic! I need to get some painters tape!!
Another hack I've seen but have yet to use is you put a bit of toothpaste on both holes and "hang your art" minus the nails so you should have a guide exactly where your nails need to be.
The easiest way for me to beat the two nail situation is put a wire or strong string between the two hooks and hang from the wire in the center. Now, you only have one nail!!!! 🧐
I am putting that hack in my phone notes so I can use it. We just moved into a new house and lots of pics to hang...so many 😟
Kim: Deep cleaning a huge house while pregnant with morning sickness, multiple bathrooms, 4 kids + dishes, etc 😳
Me: Not pregnant, not sick, 2 kids, small apartment with only 2 small bathrooms, can't find motivation to clean meanwhile it looks like someone threw up all over the place in a hoarders home.
Also me: I'll just ignore it all and watch Kim clean for almost an hour 🤣
When our kids leave our homes they will forever have chores. And if we can make their life easier while they are home and kids why not. You do you, mom. and you are doing amazing.
Lol we still use a plastic bag hanging in the bathroom and kitchen, on the plus side the garbage gets taken out daily and I love that it doesn't stay smelling inside

What a busy spring cleaning! Everything looked great. Vacuum steam mops are life changing and it's good to know I'm not the only one who gets to their sheets every err. My kids help with laundry daily too. Its on my boys chore list. I do a load a day, start it before work. My 9yo moves it from washer to dryer. My 5yo takes it from dryer to the couch and I fold when I get home, they put their own clothes away! It's a huge help for me, and really only takes them 5 minutes.
Kim, hello from Athens, Greece. FYI, there are little scrappers specifically made to get the burnt gunk off you ceramic stove top which are approved by manufacturer. There is no need for all that elbow grease. Furthermore, you can replace the blade and it’s brand new. I also was sucked into a “miraculous “ product. The blade and a little light abrasive cleaner does the job much easier.

I love top loader washing machines and will never go back to front loaders. When I was living in a rental house where the front loader washing machine was in the garage, I always hated it, it gets mouldy inside quickly and no one was really cleaning it and one time the dude who lives upstairs parked his car too close to the door to the washing machine and I couldn’t open it… and he was asleep and all my clothes just sat in there and getting mouldy smell .. glad I moved out at the end of that year and moved in with my partner and got us a top loader ❤️👍👍
TY, Kim for the demo of that Bissel mop/vac. I looked it up on Amazon & great reviews. As an older woman sounds worth it bc ‘time’, ‘Effort’, vs, cost…..it’s a win win for me. I’m decluttering my home and getting rid of stuff. I can donate all my mops, brooms, etc. Great video !!

Where were you when when I was a young mom and homemaker...and a perfectionist to boot. I could never reach my expectations and always felt inadequate. Your channel is an inspiration to many struggling moms who try to live a Pinterest life. I love when you make a mistake and say,, "it will be OK, it will all work out"
Ha! I'm 76 yrs old and I still can't tell anyone how often I wash the sheets on my bed (I live alone and even eat on my bed). I just keep an over sized bath towel over my made up bed, and if anyone comes over, I fold the towel and hide it in the closet. Voila...my bed is made! I do wash the towel(s) when needed.
You may not think you have a mission with your channel, but you are giving permission to many young women to be more gentle to themselves.
I also need to add how entertaining your videos are...sometimes, funnier than any comedy show. Thank you for making my life happier.

Even with morning sickness you are rocking it! I'm retired and wish I had half your energy. I chase my 3yr old grand daughter two days a week and need to recuperate after our days together. Picture hanging tip! Use painters tape on the back of the picture. Mark the tape where the hangers are, peel the tape off, and put it on the wall. Then, put your nails right through the tape and peel off the wall; just make sure the tape is level. Love your videos!
I loved this video Kim. Knowing how yucky you feel and to see you do so much.... It truly is motivating. The love you have for your new Bissell.....I know the feeling! I just got a Dyson Pet hair vacuum at Costco..... oh wow, do I love that. I had no idea how much stuff was on my floors until I used it the first time, and it's very easy to push around and it gets under the furniture. I am sending a hug your way, please rest and take care of yourself, hoping the morning (all day) sickness goes completely away soon!

Kim!!!! I am widowed, years & years now. Jus me, my dogs & cats (yes, I am one of "those").My home sometimes looks like someone would come in & say"There seems to have been a struggle!". I am amazed, amazed at how much you get done at ANYTIME. And now pregnant, WTHeck! Life does move. Kids need to help(as yours does) but like you said they need to be kids a Lot too. You have a huge loving home & family. Do not feel as if you have to justify a bloody thing to ANYONE about anything. Your life, your family and they are thriving...woohoo...Good Goin' YOU!

Kim! When you need to replace this washing machine, get yourself a Speed Queen. The top loading set has the old school agitator but still "eco". It was a little smaller than my other machines, but because of the agitator, the cycles don't have to be as long. They will bury in clean laundry. I absolutely love my set. The warranty is incredible. There's a reason hospitals, laundromats, and apartment complexes use them ;)
I’m thinking of getting either the top load or front load SQ washer. May I ask if yours able to wash a king size comforter? Thanks.
Hey Kim - a tip on the sticky stuff for the rugs. Fold back the corner of the rug, put the sticky stuff on the rug (not on the floor) and then put the corner of the rug back down. It will be perfectly placed! 👍 Can you use the room upstairs for your office? Lock the doors so that it’s not part of that play space? But then, you’re probably going to have to use that room as one of your older kids bedrooms, to make room for the baby. Love your videos! ❤️🌷🌸

I leave the door open and detergent tray open after every load to properly dry out in our laundry room and I've never had an issue. Glad you have an appliance that works for you!

I saw a hack for hanging pictures is use a piece of painters tape and put it on the back of the picture. Mark the holes for the mount. Trick to hanging art on the walls: I just rip out whatever is on the back and I put in my own hanging wire+2 eyelet hooks on the back. That way when I go to hang its, one thick nail or screw does the trick

I’m older than you and don’t have any kids, but I wish we lived closer together. After being a KY girl for 45 years and then moving to Daytona, I’ve had a horrible time adjusting. Plus, have had some health issues. However, you always make me smile and laugh…I just know we would hit it off for a girly lunch or thrift day. Anyway, so happy you found your home and are expecting #5. So many blessings to be thankful for. Be careful when you vacuum up baking soda with a dyson or shark vacuum. It ruins them and the companies won’t honor your warranty. I learned the hard way. Use a shop vac. Great video. The cross wave is a game changer!!

@@thewadsquad I had a dyson and they said that baking soda because it’s so fine, ruins the motor. A lot of other people on other cleaning channels have said the same thing too. I use a shop vac now just in case. 🤷🏻♀️❤️

Kim, I love when you hang out and just talk to us! You have to give yourself lots of grace during pregnancy sickness. It's just a phase and it will pass but rest should be your priority right now. Such a great video! (Your hamper is fine where you put it, under the towels)
Kim you're doing great at some point kiddos won't let you do their laundry. My daughter was shocked attending college freshmen year and most of the 18 year olds didn't know how to do laundry!! I became handicap when she was 1 year old, out of necessity by the time she was 6 she was doing her clothes by herself. It's a parents job to give our children the gift of being responsible. 🌞
Kim, I used my little steamer on my stove and it cuts all the grease and sanitizers it without chemicals, even on my cabinet it works great. Great job cleaning. its alot of work but well worth it.
Way to go! Spring cleaning while pregnant is tough; I was there 2 years ago! I think the glass cleaner you used is Sprayway. Lots of professional cleaners use it. My sister recommended it to me, but I couldn't handle the fumes. But they make it in a spray bottle that is just as great as the aresol and no terrible fumes! I highly recommend it! 👌

I love the fact I’m not the only one that doesn’t sort the laundry anymore. . I started sorting according to the room they go. Or person and that’s it. Makes it so much easier. To fold and put away.
I finally got myself a Crosswave (pet) here in Australia all because of you. It’s something that I think I will actually use!!! The sad part is the fact I now have a line of shame around every wall where it doesn’t quite get to the wall (not a fault with product at all). Will now be on hands and knees removing the evidence of just how dirty my floors were, a very small price to pay. Hope Bub no5 is still treating you well ❤

I remember when we had well water and a plumber asked to look in our toilet tank and said the same thing, "yep, don't need to look in the others" 😂.
Get wire for picture hanging and string it between the 2 hooks......or use toothpaste on the back of the 2 hooks and press it into the wall once it's level and then you know where to put the nails. I love both of the pictures you hung!!!

The same thing happened to my mother's washing machine! The company tried to blame her. I think it is the way they were made. The older machines don't really do that!😕❤
I love my crosswave! It’s the best. Well worth the $300 I spent on it. It does save so much time! I can do the entire house in less than an hour, really like 30 to 40 minutes if I’m not screwing around! Before it took so much time to sweep everything then mop everything. Ugh lol

3M strips…that is how I can hang pictures straight. Also then you do not have to put holes in your walls. I have the Bessel cross wave also and I Love Love love the thing..especially with tile flooring. I would agree it is worth it!
That glass cleaner is Sprayway. I've used it for years and will be the only one I use because it leaves no streaks and it's safe to use on tinted windows. Yes, it does have a pretty potent floral smell.
You motivated me to do some Spring cleaning of my own. Currently cleaning behind my fridge and stove. Also wiping down my cupboard doors and drawer fronts in my kitchen. Thank you! I hope that you're feeling well today. 😊
