Thanks for watching!
Happy to see the first break of 2023! hopefully we can have a good year for cards
I have plans and enough boxes, but I need to get some things in order before that.
Thanks for sharing this break !! you got really lucky with the black suit spidey sketch ! theres so many people that would kill for a hit like that !! congrats !!!!
I know, pulling the highest profile character on a sketch is very nice. I'm super happy with it.
Thanks for sharing. This actually looks like a fun set. Chase cards look cool and the parallel set is also cool
Hadn’t seen this set before. I hate it. I can see them looking nice in a binder, but it makes the box ripping a somewhat crappy experience. Thanks for sharing. Nice sketch pull!
What a great sketch
Thanks, glad you like it!
Did you pre-order any of the UD Fleer Ultra Avengers boxes? I had to pass on the Spider-Man Metal Universe because the boxes were crazy prices here in Canada. It was $700-$800 CAD per box. I saw the Fleer Ultra Avengers on pre-order but they are $500/box CAD. I just cannot justify these prices for something that should cost no more than $200/box CAD in comparison.
What are your thoughts?
I agree! I've not pre-ordered Fleer Ultra Avengers, even though I think they will be a lot better than the Metal sets. Even the Marvel Beginnings boxes are way overpriced. Since non of them sold out in pre-order I'm hoping they will drop at least a little bit in price after their release.
@@randomcollector2353 That is the hope. I agree, the Fleer Ultra sets always have seemed better than the Metal sets, mostly because it is original artwork. I regret not getting more 2017 Fleer Ultra Spider-Man; by far in recent times one of my favourite sets.
If prices drop for Fleer Ultra Avengers I will be ecstatic. Fleer Ultra artwork has always looked incredible to me.
Yo, that black-suit Spinne-Mensch, so that is all by hand, that is not just a signature on a small print there, that entire card is painted? If so, score. GOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!!
Yes, that was a nice sketch card!
Awesome box opening. By any chance do you sell your dupe cards?
Not yet, maybe in the future!
Miss this channel :(
I posted a long comment, but it was deleted :( Probably because I had a link in it...
I wanted to get your advice; I've got a Charles Hall and Melike Acar sketch that are probably worth at least $500 a piece; and though it makes me feel pretty bad, I've been considering selling them, as I'm not doing very well financially. Would you trust eBay for things like this (I've read a lot of horror stories form sellers)? Is there some kind of in-person event where people sell or trade sketch cards? Should I just keep them longer?
The Melike Acar is a pretty amazing Cable sketch from the 2018 Deadpool set. The Charles Hall is an oil painting of Iron Man fighting MODOK from the 2010 Rittenhouse set.
What a weird choice to make all the base cards ugly unless they are in a completed binder. Do you collect original art from your favourite Marvel artists or are you just into the cards?
I collect several things, cards, comicbooks, actionfigures and more. The only original artpiece I have, besides sketch cards and some remarked comics, is a Shaolin Cowboy sketch by Geoff Darrow.
@@randomcollector2353 I mean, if you're going to have one piece, that's a good one to have. Remarked comics? Like sketch covers? Love your videos, man, all the best!
Do you grade any of the cards?
Not yet. I plan on doing it at some point, but I'm a little bit scared about german customs fees. I don't know how they handle this kind of service and how high the custom fee would be.
@@randomcollector2353 I would suggest using a card shop that handles the grading process for you. I think this is the easiest option, for us outside of the US.
@@ripper2256 I'll have to see if I can find someone who has experience with this here in Germany. Not sure if there are still card shops over here, last one I knew in my city closed at least 15 years ago.
Need a new video!
New one is out!
Would love to invite you on as a guest of my show to open some Marvel.....Lots of of content creators channels appreciate your vids.....be cool if your down!!!
I really appreciate that. I haven't been very active lately due to personal things. When I get my sh*t in order I would definitely be down to do something like that!
@randomcollector2353 I have 2 boxes of Marvel beginnings...I'm at SDCC tight now!! So when I get back we could schedule something!!!
That's great! Saw some of your SDCC announcements, hope your having fun!
Give me some time to get my channel back on track and then we can talk.
