For those who can't smell it, if you have a Lush store give 'Lust' a try. The jasmine accord has similarities to the jasmine accord in Shalimar Millesime Jasmin. Lush's version is more indolic though.
Hi Pam, Are there any Guerlain’s that are exclusive to Euro/UK that I should be aware of? I have family coming from the UK to visit in April and they can procure some fragrances and bring them when they travel to the states. I don’t see the point of them doing such unless the fragrance can only be acquired in Europe. If you’re aware of the exclusives I’d greatly appreciate it if you’d share such. Thank you kindly for any assistance/ advice that you can offer. Happy New Year 🎆
There are certain perfumes that are exclusive to the boutiques. Usually parfum versions. Boutiques have a tap of fragrances for refill or to put in the bee bottles. So certain places may still have Gourmand Coquin or tonka Imperiale leftover that they can sell. Or Mon Guerlain extrait and such. So it all depends on the place but it has to be a boutique. Also they have great customer service that they would give you Guerlain freebies that you cant ever find anywhere. But if there are particular fragrances that you want even though you can buy in the US its still worth buying in Uk or europe cuz its much cheaper. Like the L'art et la Matiere 200 ml bottle for instance, and im just making up numbers, if US price is 560, it would only be 470 or 480 in UK and Europe and you can still get a VAT refund. The price differences apply to brands like Chanel as well. I hope that helps.
Wish I can smell/purchase this.. it seems a bit hard to find even on boutique in South East Asia. Do u have any idea what version they will release next year?
I guess I should have been more clear. I was talking about the Edp. I believe the one launched in 1925 was the Parfum. But I could be wrong. You are right though I should do more research. Nevertheless, I hope we can both agree that Shalimar is one of the best perfumes ever created. 😉
1925 is fair since thats when it was in consistent production. I heard "1990" but you did say the EDP. It is one of the best perfumes. 2 more LE of the Guerlinade to go. On an aside I believe Jelk, the J is pronounced like a Y. I am pretty sure but could be wrong. She has been working at Guerlain more than people realize and has worked on several favorites that her name is not attached to
You’re welcome! Although this features jasmine, it’s not overwhelming at all. But that’s to me tho. I understand if you’re already not a fan of jasmine then the note might be more prominent to your nose. Thanks so much for watching.
Appreciate the take Pam. 😊 I know how much you adore the brand, so backups were almost inevitable. 😎 Hope the store is doing well!
@@justaddlight It’s doing pretty good. I feel like the backups need backups. 😁
The color of your lipstick is beautiful 💄 thanks for the review👌
Thank you. And my pleasure. ☺️

@@gunmetal2445 Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the review ,I agree with you This is a really nice version of shalimar I feel everything is balanced out with intensifying the Jasmin here
@@drlibra100 It’s perfection. I have to stop myself from swimming in it. 😆

@ it’s helps tremendously. Thank You Pam
@ may I ask, how much is the gold Bee bottle in Europe?
@@caseyplunkett6083 I'm sorry I don't quite remember. But its definitely cheaper.
@ Many Thanks. Now I’ve gotta decide which Guerlain 🤦♂️

I've read that the next Millésimes will be bergamot and then rose.
@@duhbiyung No I don’t. Have you checked if the website will ship to you?
@@karen_loup I’m looking forward to those. 🥰 Thanks for sharing. ❤️

STILL WAITING FOR MUGEUT
@@juliemiller2523 Thanks for reminding me. I have so many that I want to review. Too many perfumes, too little time. 😁
Shalimar was created in 1921!!! Please do your research. The recent LE are going through "the guerlainade." There are SIX notes that make it.

Thx for the great review but everything with Jasmin is a hard pass for me 🫣

I’m not normally a fan of jasmine in perfumery too, but this one is really well done and I bought a bottle right away after smelling it at counter.
