Hell of a wet night to walk out into but, worth it. 40 years a fan and I will never stop loving these guys. It was the first time my big sis and wife had seen The Damned in gig form. My wife saw them a long time ago at the Wickerman Festival but the tight O2 was beautiful. The Damned, a 40 year love affair that will never be over until I say so. Thanks for post.

Great stuff! Like Paul's MC5 shirt. Total Damned roots, Brian James approved!

No-one, who hasn't taken leave of their senses, can fail to love this happy go lucky bunch of ne'er do well's! I just wish Rat Scabies was back on drums once more for old time's sake. No disrespect to Pinch!

    ダムドは若い時もカッコ良かったけど、オッサンになってなおカッコ良くなった。ジョニーロットンなんてもう見る影もないしね。

A shame really....front of house sound was beyond a joke....
Let's look at it this strange case of the return of Paul...
Stu departed the band for god knows what reason especially since they'd pledged and committed themselves for the release of a new album.....so they get Paul back in..for what and why ?..Obvious.
Like many I've follow the Damned for 4 decade's and can truly say that the show in Glasgow 2018 was so very very below par..Only once can I compare this gig to another and that would be the gig in the Netherlands,,at the Breda gig in Paard Dr Troy...I fucking left after 6 songs for it nearly made me vomit in disgust.
Now let's take the legendary Albert Hall gig and the intimate Carlisle Brickyard gig not long after,,one holds 2,000 + the other 350..both shows as good as each other.
BUT this Glasgow gig was lack lustre and left one mystified to the actual future of the Damned.
Was it the shitehole of a venue,,possibly the worst venue in Glasgow that played a major part in the lack lustre of the band...it really is a shitehole backstage ?
Back to basics......back to the ABC and get it right.
Stu West you shall not be forgotten,,thank you.
