To install them on your katana mkii, the easiest way is to drag the downloaded files to your desktop.
Open up the tone studio with your katana connected and go to the top right corner and click the down arrow. Locate your file and it'll bring it into your library where you can drag them across to the katana :)

I'm completely open to awesome tones that are outside of the metal/heavy genres. Nothing wrong with throwing some fresh and different tones into the mix.

Can't thankyou enough for this Mate & thanks for branching out on a limb and a whim👍👍. Your blues playing is great, remember Black Sabbath, and so many metal bands from the 80's incorporated the blues as does Mark Morton from LOG, and his signature model real shines through in this vid. We all don't want our faces melted and high gain 24/7, mate, I love Stevie Ray Vaughn and Double Trouble, his playing ability, tone and feel easily matches my metal favs like Gary Holt, Jake.E.Lee. Sunday Arvo's have always been my chillout BBQ, Beer & Blues day with SRV, Hendrix, Cream/Clapton, Allman Brothers etc, so you are definitely on the right track mate. I'll definitely check this out and the doubler effect with the AC20, Scuttle Buttin time. Thanks again and hope you and your family had a great Christmas and NY. All the best for 2024. Hello Anthony! My name is Pietro, I'm from Brazil and I love your channel! I'm 22y, started playing guitar 2 years ago, and I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I have a hard time trying to understand what you say, my english is not perfect and the accent for me still hard to understand
But I'm trying to practice, I got an australian citizenship from my father so I'm willing to move to Australia within the next few years, so better get used to the accent hehe
I like specially your boss katana videos, I always wanted an amp like that but unfortunately it is too damn expensive here in Brazil
Everything is expensive, it would take me 3 entire salaries just to buy the katana mk2 50w, it is simply not doable
But I'm at the hope that someday I will have a guitar room just like you do

Its expensive for all of us even the ones living in 1st world countries, I live in india things are expensive here too. Just keep at it man. Good luck, keep practicing with what you have at the moment and check the 2nd hand market.

First time for me to see how far plug ins have come, this would work for so much, I’m thinking 80s metal but yeah very versatile, when you were playing mastodon I also heard a tone that would work for Metallica

That bit at around 6:30 reminded me a bit of Clutch. Some great rasp rock tones on top of the incredible cleans. I'll have to demo this, stat!

Everybody needs to come to the realization that dramatic, measurable, objective improvements in amp sim technology are over and it's just a matter of subjective taste from here on out - just like real amps.
They’re all just selling shit. It’s a shame
BTW, I was thinking of buying this Morgan plugin and this video made me to do it. Ask Neural to send you few for selling this.

Awesome video with great content as usual. May I ask you which headphones 🎧 do you use ? You are one of the few (maybe the only) top TH-camr who always uses headphones when you are tracking in your videos. And your mixes and tones are always top notch !! This made me curious and busted the myth that headphones for Music production are a no go. Thank you
Thanks mate, I think it’s what you get used to. Roland RH300’s. I learned to like headphones as I get a full sound without annoying anybody. Real amps are awesome if you get to open the throttle but I don’t really have that option.

I love to get bluesy once in a while. I actually nearly forgot how to play Metal at one point, and everything I played just sounded hard rock infused with blues 😂

I’ve tried it with my super strats with singles. It’s a cool tone, I found the patch called country lead. It was really nice and tweaked it a little to suit
