When it comes to singing the anthem, I think the videos of Canadians finishing the US anthem when the mic drops at a hockey game, and the reverse with US fans in Detroit singing O Canada, are the most cool.
Thank-you for reacting to these beer fridge promotions & ads (& esp. for our special day.) Thank-you also for your kind Canada Day greeting. ALL of the older Molson Canadian ads were exceptional. They were genius as they didn't focus on trying to sell the beer directly - but by promoting Canadian nationalism - that would then make people feel good about their beer & get Canadians to buy it. These beer fridge promotions were EVEN BETTER, as they got Canadians to PARTICIPATE in the spirit of nationalism (& enjoy a [Molson] Canadian beer - & associate the 2 together.) I wish they would bring back these promotional beer fridges & do them again. (We should ALL petition the company to do so - & maybe petition to have one of the passport fridges near AussieTash?) We could really use these national togetherness beer fridges again, as a lot of negativity & divisiveness is starting to enter our country through the internet & certain Canadian politicians who do so for political & political party gains - at the expense of Canadians. I hate this. As Canadians, we need to call out those that would spread this kind of negativity & call out those who would try to divide us for political gains. WE - ARE - CANADIAN - TOGETHER. A GREAT group of people (in general) & WE NEED TO STAY OUR KIND, POLITE, COMPASSIONATE SELVES, that people around the world know & love us for (& that we love ourselves for being too.)
