Thank you! It was beautiful. I can't wait to get out there again! I have a trip planned for the Frost River in the BWCA in May and am going to try to fit in the McCormick loop in late April but I didn't count on you guys having 2 1/2 feet of snow up there yet. It's been a strange winter.
@@schultzoutdoors8799 this winter is never ending, expecting a few fresh inches of snow this weekend. Were you solely in the park or did you camp on crown land? I am thinking of spending four or five days there this August
Great trip Dan, yeah that second portage does not even look like a trail at all, agreed that is an ankle breaker for sure! Really great video these types of videos make me really want to go out there asap lol.
Yes very rugged and little used. I actually needed Lexi to point the right way a couple times lol. Well don't feel bad, I see your vids and it makes me want to get out to the Pacific Northwest. You've got some beautiful country out there!
I have been watching your trips the last few days and I really like how you film. I like the fact you take your time to set up shots showing yourself and your dog walking the portages and not just the easy camera angle on the boat or head angle. Im taking a trip to BWCA in a couple weeks and will try to do the same. Enjoying the channel, subscribed.
Thank you! Yes, it's not easy to set up those shots but worth it in the end. Enjoy your trip to the Bdub. What entry point? I'm heading in with my daughter tomorrow through Sawbill.
Thank you. I was planning on fishing but I changed up my route on day 2 but most of the lakes on my new route were already closed for the season with only a couple open. I wasn't 100% sure which ones they were and I didn't want to take a chance so no fishing for me this trip.
Excellent video Dan! Really enjoyed this. It allows me to 'come along' with you on your trips. Makes me wish I was there. Love ya Bro!
Thanks bro. I'm glad you can get some enjoyment out it. Wish you could be there as well. Love you man.
Looks like an awesome park. Yay for superstar Lexi to get recognized by Tumblehome. Have a great 2023 season! We almost have ice out in the UP!

@Kelly Cornering I was on Crown land just west of the park. Mississagi Provincial Park was just on the other side of the road from Flack lake.
Enjoyed the video… Thank you
Thank you Curtis, I am glad you liked it!
Great job, worth the effort💪
Thanks Wade. It's a gorgeous place!

Nice vid! Looks like a cool area for sure
Thank you. It is an awesome spot! Supposed to be great lake and brook trout fishing as well.
Good video, saw your fishing rod in the boat, was hoping to see you catch a fish!

Did you sell your blue Keewaydin? Which canoe is this?
I still have it but my daughters use it now. It was too small for Lexi, gear, and myself so I bought a Prospector 14 about 2 years ago.
