We'd like to wish all of our followers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We hope that Santa brings you everything you have wished for, and that you have a wonderful day spending this special time of year with family and friends. Happy Christmas to all and to all a good night!
Right back at you Shawn, hope you guys put your feet up for a few days and have a good one. I will watch this laters but i know it will be a good one. Ive just got it myself and started playing it. Look forward to the new year
Shawn I love the fact you take the time to read all the comments! Like some TH-camrs forget about their subscribers and it's nice to actually be recognised for thing's we have said and I also appreciate the fact you still retain respect for your fans it's something you don't see very often so hats off to you Shawn Sambrook
When I was younger and smaller I couldn’t go on a lot of the rides at Blackpool but I always love the wild mouse I was pretty shocked when it was turned down because I would’ve deafly made the trip there to go and ride it
Merry Christmas! Everyone! Hope you have an amazing time with your family and you enjoy yourself, this is always my favourite time of year and I hope it is yours too! It is also amazing how you have built a wooden wild mouse in memory of the one at Blackpool Pleasure Beach that sadly got removed before the season began. If I’m completely honest I was kind of emotional because of this as it was one of my favourite wooden coasters in the world and my favourite wild mouse in the world. It was an absolute classic to say the least and I am so sad if anyone out there weren’t able to experience it as it was something special. Not to be confused with the Something Special Sensory Garden in CBeebies Land at Alton Towers haha. But it was made up when Icon was put in as it is now my favourite coaster in the UK! The launchers are my favourite parts of the ride and really makes this one of the best Mack coasters out there. Anyway, once again, have a very Merry Christmas everyone and get out there and keep on riding! (When the season begins.)
I went on the blackpool wild mouse 2 years ago i was 12 and it made my skin jump out of my body but it was so fun sad to see it go but hopefully they have a nice good fun family ride
Pleasure beach story: I was there on a bit later than the opening day. I had the trip already planned and I was very excited for the wooden wild mouse. I didn’t know, that it was removed, but I realized it when I was there... I’m still sad that i’ve missed it..
Loving this little series, always inspires me to turn on planet coaster. I only went on the wild mouse once at BP back in 1999. One of those rides that made me laugh the whole way round.
Merry Christmas from Germany! Here, we open our presents on christmas evening, so i already got mine. I got a Cookie G3 helmet for skydiving.( They are pretty expensive ) We also ate a awesome meal made by my Mum;) Hope you'll have a great Christmas day!🎄😉
good (and painful) memories of the old wild mouse. you ain't really experience a proper janky roller coaster until you've been bashed side to side with a wild mouse. loved it.
This is like a free class on park design. I never knew (or considered) that older amusement parks were arranged in blocks. As a roller coaster nitpicker, I do think sloped straightaways would suit the Wild Mouse better than the little post-corner dips, but the unique layout was still nice. Great work!
You should add a junior coaster, like a Wacky Worm or a wooden coaster similar to the Blue Flyer, so you have a less intense alternative to the scenic railway and wild mouse. That's common of real theme parks and amusement parks, and trying to make one attractive to ride could make for an interesting challenge.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Theme Park Worldwide. Specially to Shawn and Charlotte for the leg work and the effort put in for us viewers. Shawn your planet coaster episodes have smashed it this year. Keep it up x
I loved how when me and my older brother where kids we would keep going on the wooden wild mouse purely for the fact each turn two of the wheels would come off the track a little bit (or at least proper felt like it) so fun sad to hear it is gone.
Merry Christmas to everyone🎄🎄🎄 I didn’t ride wild mouse when I went to visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach my cousin used to go all the time and she said it was amazing!
My fondest memories of wild mouse was me and my dad going to ride it for the first time, and being surprised by that first big drop and nearly getting thrown out on the switch back turns
A coaster suggestion is a water/log ride that goes through a mountain. I'd love to see a bridge that the visitors can use to walk over the ride (similar to Disney World's Splash Mountain). I know this park is more amusement than theme but a ride that weaves through terrain would be phenomenal, and I know you'd be able to pull it off and still make it fit the park's aesthetic. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Festoon lights around the handrails of the SR would look good. Also a classic travelling pinfari coaster could fit. Something like the wildcat from southport layout.
Wishing you and Charlotte a very merry Christmas! Your videos never fail to entertain me whatever they are and I can't wait to see what you all get up to in 2019. Thanks for everything Shawn!
Spending my Christmas Eve in bed watching this episode, I got that hooked on your videos and channel I have gone and bought a new laptop just play planet coaster after watching your videos! Keep the amazing work sean a d every one at Theme Park Worldwide and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas all the best and I hope you have an even better new year!!!
I’ve been to Sydney’s Luna park more than a billion times and their wild mouse is awesome and is still there 2021 it’s a great coaster and I foreverwill love it
Have a great Christmas TPW! 🎄 (Your vintage park actually got me interested in the vintage pack and I bought it because of your enthusiasm so thank youuuuuu! 😊)
Have you ever been to Luna park Sydney in NSW Australia it’s my favourite amusement park because it has the vintage vibe with some classic ride including the wild mouse and vintage decorations if you haven’t I recommend to buy tickets to NSW (and a funny memory on my ride on the wild mouse is me and my brother went on it together and we were singing a song and screaming so much)
if you're going to Tivoli next year, I recommend you check out some of our other parks here in Denmark, like Bonbon Land (which houses the first Eurofighter) and Legoland, which is just an amazing experience.
I know I’m very late to comment on this video, but I want to anyway. My very first “big coaster” (as in one that wasn’t a kiddie coaster) was Wildcat at Cedar Point. I remember being terrified when I was first getting on it but I ended up loving it, and now I love coasters in general. Unfortunately it was gone the next time I went to Cedar Point. It was also the only wild mouse-style ride that I actually enjoyed. Now I kind of hate them because of the unbanked turns and stuff. Either way, I loved Wildcat to the point where I bought a Wildcat patch from Cedar Point and put it on a tee shirt so that I could have a Wildcat shirt. Oh, and I’ve never been to Blackpool Pleasure Beach so I never rode the wild mouse there, but I’ve heard it’s a fun park. Once I get some money I’d love to go there.
On the station building where the coaster enters and leaves its a bit akward to put walls there, but there is actually a piece for it in the game. near the other wall pieces and that fits perfectly
My favourite memory from Blackpool's Wild Mouse happened a couple of years ago when I elbowed my brother accidentally during one particularly 'wild' corner. Couple of days later he got it checked out and it turned out he'd broken a rib! Not great for him at the time but we laugh now lol
I don't watch these, but I thought I'd pop in and say hi, and to reiterate my merry Christmas, just in case you didn't believe me the first time. Also, the clock is ticking on a vlog with Charlotte in it before zero hour. This frankly baffles me.
May I suggest you add in a mid way section with carnival style rides and some family attractions, also I’d love to see maybe a looper or boomerang coaster, just some food for thought
I remember going on wild mouse at Blackpool when I was young my dad and i would always go on it first because my dad didn’t want to go straight on the big one like I would
I live near London so I only really go up to Blackpool Pleasure Beach once a year. I went there in October 2017 (which was my first time to Blackpool) and I wanted to ride it but it was closed ( probably not because of it being taken down tho) so I thought I’ll just ride it next year but a few months later (I think) I saw in the newspaper that it was being taken down. When I went this year i wrote on a small piece of paper ‘never close classics’ and stuck it on top of a bin around in the area it was
I think that the Wild Mouse could be called Mousetrap and themed around racing your mice around the park, but mice can turn very sharply and run down hills very fast...
Jeez, uploaded 5 years ago - I remember when this was uploaded 5 DAYS ago... let alone years! Rewatching these in the lead up to Planet Coaster 2 dropping on my 21st birthday... will we be getting a series? Been a while since the last one and I kinda miss these!
I think a steam railway would fit into this park and possibly a rollercoaster like icon but tucked away in the back and detailed well enough not to stick out

That's a badass wildmouse Shawn. Really cool.
Sadly, I never had the pleasure to ride the one in Blackpool. Looked fun in a painful sort of way lol.
Loving this little series, always inspires me to turn on planet coaster. I only went on the wild mouse once at BP back in 1999. One of those rides that made me laugh the whole way round.
Would be cool if you added the new SLC into the park. Could hide it in the corner of the park in like a Forrest area ??
Aldred whats a SLC
@@chezburger1781 an inverted coaster (like nemisis) but a different track type and different company, oh yeah and it isreally rough

As a roller coaster nitpicker, I do think sloped straightaways would suit the Wild Mouse better than the little post-corner dips, but the unique layout was still nice. Great work!
Thank you!
I would also like to note; it’s a neck breaker, you need to use some brakes to slow some of the corners.
It is very intense on the corners, but that's exactly what wild mouse was like at Blackpool!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Where im from, my park has no brakes on the wild mouse, so i know the feeling of having sore sides after riding them! lol
Eat Pant that’s all I remember from Wild Mouse. I’d be covered in bruises on my sides
I think that you should do a really nice like food court with like a Ferris wheel in the middle, i think that would look quite nice
