Why are the staff buildings just black holes? In Planet Zoo they have doors and things inside. Why do they release games that aren't finished for a premium price?!
Hi Rudi! Thank you so much for this in-depth guide to PC 2. I haven't seen anyone put this much effort into explaining the game's mechanics clearly. This video must have taken a lot of time and I really appreciate you making it! I hope you earn more viewers after this, your content deserves more attention.
You my friend are a savior! After dropping hundreds of hours in PlanCo and not having anything to show for it besides knowing how to get blueprints from the workshop and building around other creations to make a park. I can finally create everything on my own. I never thought of blocking out areas using the terrain paint tool. I’m only 37 minutes in and already learning so much from your tutorial. I’m going to take the next couple of days to follow the tutorial completely and learn and absorb as much as I can. I’ve watched a lot of PlanCo and PlanCo2 creation content but everyone else makes it seem like a breeze and already have a fully thought out park thought out but they all claim it’s creativity on the fly. You actually walk everyone through how to create a park from scratch! Only question I have is how do you go about sizing an area? Like when painting using the different terrain how do you know roughly the size to aim for to make it feel realistic?
Thanks! This is going to be really useful, especially with the time stamps, so we can go directly to areas we have questions about. I'm going to watch with the game in front of me so I can practice what I'm watching. ❤
Thanks for this video!! i just got planet coaster 2 and felt so dumb and overwhelmed by it. I have only played 10 hours. i played planet coaster a lot a few years ago and even then i had some trouble with paths and things like that. now, PC2 makes me feel like i need to start from square one again which is fine. So happy i found this tutorial! 😊🎉
Hab mich in den ersten Minuten echt ein bisschen schwer getan und dachte, hm, hoffentlich zeigt Rudi alle neuen Techniken noch mal im Detail. Et voila, here we go. Danke für die Arbeit!
Amazing video! I have been struggling with the buildings. also in planco 1 and planet zoo, but just didn't know most of the tools you used. This is gonna help me massively. Can't wait for your advanced building tutorial.
OMG. I am sitting here with my jaw open.. you made that entrance building so fast and it is so amazing. I have no imagination lol. Thank you so much I am up to the swimming pool chapter right now but the paths and building have always been my downfall. I think I will love this game I have just had so many problems, which to me are expected on release of new game to work out any bugs. Your tutorial will make this 1000% easier. By the way I love to listen to you talk since I lived in Germany for 6 years. I miss the people and the country.
Watched whole video can't wait to try some of these ideas, may struggle due to being on ps5 but hoping it will not be too hard, thanks for the super long tutorials
wowwwzers, I just subbed the other day with the PC2 rush - I've enjoyed your coverage of the launch, and this was such an excellent idea, this will carry you to 100k subs fast! Excellent job!!
Ouuuu I’m gonna watch this while I play tonight. I spent HOURS on the game last night and I feel like I learned so much with the building editor I think I already have 24 or 25 hours in the game lol
I fear that this video maybe a bit short😬.
I literally watched this whole turtorial and i only have 2 hours in game. Thank you so much this made the game easier. As starter i was so confued about the UI and all the buttons 😅
can you make a dedicated video for building cool stuff in the game. im really strugling with it right now and i think that al lot of people would appreciate a video like that.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I was trying to figure out how to manage my staff and had no idea how to do anything. My generators and rides just kept degrading and in the few career scenarios I played I just ended up with a ton of alerts about problems I had no idea how to fix.
Thank you for going over the staff zones! I had no idea where to look for that because when you look it up in the help menu they just mention a brush not where to find the option.
Just wow, thanks for this tutorial! What settings do you recommend concerning „collision“ with scenery, coasters, flatrides and so on? What settings do you think provide the best experience between realistic building and fun creative building?
Your video mega tutorial for planet zoo helped me so much, to include helping my planet coaster gameplay. Best tutorials on the internet. I appreciate the length because you actually teach very well and you cover EVERYTHING. Thanks.
Thanks a lot !! I hope they will provide a function to adjust the visibility of the grid (at around 1:21:00), I can't see those pieces very well when grid overlay and especially if you need to adjust a little of the height
Those staff buildings are styled if you was to hit blue print 😂 Lovely tutorial video anyway Better than the game itself I only. Needed one thing from you And I didn't get it butt I do now 😊thx
The path tool is even easier with the ground than shown. If you change it from automatic to ground it will bring the ground to the path automatically rather than building supports for the path automatically. Inversely, setting it suspended will force add supports when automatic doesn't. Edit: setting is under terrain style
So all tools are still there, it's just changed places... I feel like when Minecraft Windows came out for all consoles. Thank you so much Rudi for all your time to teach us again.
So greatful for this magnificent tutorial. Thank u so much. Now lets hope i can play it on my gaming laptop. If i see the specs it should be, but also have trouble with planet zoo when i have less then a quarter fillled. Do you know People, or are there People in the comments know if it will work? ❤
Any plans for advanced building in PC2 video? You have many great examples already that could give you the foundation in this game...but there are some nuances to this game that does make it a little different. Either way I just enjoy your content so its an excuse to watch something more specific to this game lol ☺️
@@RudiRennkamel haha, cool! I work nights and wrote that comment on a break. The amount of times I put "this game" broke my neck. What in the world. Apologize 🤣
Most important part about building, learn your pieces! Placing every item down in one massive blueprint as your palette helps with finding parts for your needs.
Just about to start following this tutorial through. Love this idea so thank you in advance. How do you remap the hotkeys? I couldn't find it in the settings
This is amazing!!! I have a question though, I subscribed to a disney castle blueprint on the frontier workshop, yet I have no idea where to get it from...
Rudi - for creating lakes/water. I cant find the video anymore, but I saw someone use either a prop or path to lower a piece down to a level on the grid, and then flattened to foundation from there. Meaning that they'd always be able to make the same depth water. Can you plllleeeease show how to do that? ❤
Yes. But it's actually dead simple. The water will always be in 1m increments. So just make a random water area, align a piece and set increment to 1m. Move it up and down, done.
There are some cool tips there, Rudi, thanks🎉💪. I'm having a problem with coloring the paths. If I color the asphalt path black for example, all the other flexicolor paths are also black. So the red and blue ones with the texture are suddenly black too. And above all, I can't undo it - there's no reset button for the original color. That has to be a bug, right? Have you ever noticed that happening to you? I find it very frustrating that the changed color is not always valid for just one path...🥴
Thanks for great tutorial!, the parting is like a nightmare for me in this game. Could you please advise on how to prevent guests from walking through the scenery on the plaza pathing? I found some guides that said we could use some barriers in Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo but in Planet Coaster2 don't work.
I wonder if using the edit tool on a queue is a bug? I like it! And somehow I did some clicking around and can't replicate this, but I was able to use the stamp tool to build a queue! Would love that option, but I have not figured out yet how to replicate.
Hej Rudi, Thanks so much for your epic tutorial. Can I ask you wich 2 hot keys you switched? The P and the spacebar, but what where the actions again? I found it very usfull, but I can't find the moment in the video where you tell us what it is!
Could you make a video explaining the specific functions of the Flume editing controls please? I don't understand the brackets at all. i move them and nothing happens.
I have the ps5 version but I’m having trouble with advanced move active axis how do you switch between the multi direction and the plain up down left right please help
In these park building games, you always build your parks into the middle of nowhere, you can see far in the distance, every direction is just nature. I mean could not they just add buildings in those backdrops? Or at least a highway/road that comes in? Where I come from, theme parks are in, or close to cities/towns, not in the middle of nowhere XD
Hi, thanks for the tutorial, I'm learning a lot, I see you from Spain. I'll save it in my favorites. I need to ask you something: In the terrain tool, in the brushes that are there, in my case the sand one doesn't appear. I can't find guides, or anyone who talks about it. I'm starting in "creator" mode and only grass, moss, pebbles, rock and one more appear, but not sand! And I love that brush. Why is that? Is it because of the type of terrain you choose at the beginning or the game mode or..., I don't understand. I really like the sand effect. Thanks (I translate with Google Translator)
How do i turn on terrain clipping? I wanted to build a quick mountain around my coaster but the ground is clipping instead of auto tunneling like the first game?
How do you rotate track when building a coaster to straighten the tracks on PS5? On Planet coaster it was holding the square and turn but on PC2 its not there.
Just a friendly heads up to anybody thinking of buying this. Register an account on frontier BEFORE buying the game, if your country is not listed in the dropdown , you will NOT have access to the workshop.
