Old combo used Saryuja with the AtoZ to get an extra SS but they can make any Link 3 or 4 mid-combo that they might want as long as it uses the Light Machines. Judging Ojamas based only on the cards with Ojama names is like saying Ghost Girls should be judged on if you could make a deck solely based on them.
@@anonymousoff-brand7538 Kaiju's biggest mistake was the absolutely stupid decision Konami made that made their effects linked to the counters and the counters only appear on the Field Spell. If Konami gave them their effects as something like HOPTs or even something like just make them hit the field with enough counters to fuel the effect one time they would have been used the way they were. If Gameciel's effect was usable even once then it would have immediately gone from being the most used Kaiju to the least used one because its effect is actually ridiculous but under most circumstances, Kaijus are vanillas.

As someone who plays Ojamas, Ojamagic is actually really useful for combos. One of the worst parts of playing Ojamas is having bricks on your hand, although comboing a Ojama Pajama to get rid of Ojamagic in your hand, allows you to grab a trio of ojamas into your hand. You'll probably already have Ojassimilation or Ojamatch in your hand when you pop Ojamagic so you'll immediately be able to load up your board with ABC or VW or whatever you want. Setting up Ojama Country and grabbing an Ojamassimilation by discarding Ojamagic is probably the most useful combo you could have for this weakish archetype. Ojamas are my shit dude I love them too much. (If you guys are wondering what exactly my deck is, right now I'm playing an unfinished A-Z Armed Ojamas with some extra side deck strategy

If we are talking about any MR change then goyo defender(?) or Tzolkin were pretty unplayable when Links were introduced. Edit: Bahamut Shark also goes into this time frame. Pretty much any card from the extra deck that summons a card from the extra deck.
I wouldn't be shocked if the design was the inspiration for Astral from Zexal. She (And I say she because Twinkle Moss is clearly a girl) is basically a genderflipped version of that character.
The problem with Ojama is the lack of support FOR an Ojama playstyle. Ojamagic could be awesome with some good playstyle. They are way more focused at helping AtoZ Dragon Cannon or Armed Dragon (other archtypes Chazz use) than having a field lock down proper archtype.
Recovering cards from the graveyard and banish zone is one of the better effects in the game. So, how about a Top 10 Worst cards with that recover ability?

Ojamagic technically is also somewhat useful for some Exodia shenanigans as you could get 9 Ojamas in hand via 3 Ojamagic and then just mulligan your hand with cards like Magical Mallet and Reload until you draw all 5 pieces of Exodia.
I remember saw some old OCG dragunity list play black and white wave, cause their old combo path require use one of their lv6 sychro to make the rank6 Hieratic monsters.
Nitro Synchron is an interesting case. I mean, I guess nowadays, you could always go into Junk Speeder, and then use Nitro Synchron to summon Nitro Warrior that way, but is it really worth it at that point? Seems like kind of a waste when you could have just picked a better level 2 Synchron like Fleur Synchron, and went into something better while extending your combo. I feel like they wanted to do something like what they did with the Junk archetype with Junk Synchron being able to make Junk Archer, Junk Destroyer, Junk Warrior, and all them. But, then they probably realized after most people who summon Junk Archer do it via Quickdraw Synchron instead of Junk Synchron, and the same was true of Nitro Warrior, they probably just figured they'd scrap the concept preemptively. Not like I blame them, when they have a really powerful card to compete with like Quickdraw Synchron. Or maybe Nitro Synchron was just a cop out Synchron where they knew you'd just use Quickdraw Synchron instead, and the +1 effect off it was just something random they added, with some future-proofing like you find on a few other cards in the game. You know, since the other synchro warriors have a Synchron, Nitro Warrior needed one even though no one would use it.
Let's also mention the fact that Tongue Twister has a "when" condition so it has all the chances in the world to misstiming whenever it's used as a material for any synchro/link summon Maybe not for Hieratics but as their tribute is a cost and an effect happens right behind it, I think it would also cause misstiming Edit : not that sure about misstiming tho, the effect isn't optional
Okay, hear me out, but this is how I used alchemy cycle in gimmick decks. I would use dna surgery to make my monsters machine, then use alchemy cycle to make one monster have 0 attack. Then I could use machine dupe to summon 2 more from my deck. Even worse, sometimes that monster would be elemental hero prisma so I could have 3 prismas on the field. Then I could use their effects to send different monsters to the grave to copy their names for whatever reason. Some of the dumbest reasons I have used this prisma thing for: Making them the sacred beasts to make Armatyle Using Neos and neospacians to make neos contact fusions Idk if you could do abc/xyz but maybe? Generic rank 4 xyz Blue eyes twin burst dragon Cyber Dragon shenanigans Endless possibilities thanks to alchemy cycle
Tongue twister can be used to make salamangreat almirag because of its low statline and that could trigger its effect to draw. This means that if you tribute summon it, getting it into the graveyard is as easy as linking it away for almiraj.
Twinkle mosses actually reminds of a mechanic in another cardgame designed by the same guy who i assume wrote the Yu-Gi-Oh R manga it's called Cardfight vanguard and there when you attack you get to perform a Drive Check which is revealing the top most card on your deck and then if the card has a Trigger which gives you a variety of effects based on which trigger it is you get to give power to one of your "monsters" i don't know if anyone who knows Cardfight vanguard would agree with me but i had to immediately think of that when you brought twinkle moss up

You're mistaken with dark hole part, because arcane barrier say "a face-up spellcaster monster(s)/ place 1 spell counter on this card" but it doesn't say for each one, so not only they have to be face-up but also if 2 or more were simultaneously destroyed, you still get 1 spell counter.
I used to play a Nitro Warrior deck in the Yu Gi Oh 5Ds World Championship 2011 game for the DS. By summoning Cyber Dragon and following up with Nitro Synchron I had everything I needed to summon the warrior. I also ran Evolution Burst so the summoned Cyber Dragon could destroy something before being used as synchro material. I only used that deck early in the game though until I could get cards to make something better, but still it was a lot of fun.
So about Tongue Twister, it's actually really useful in Duel Links if you also use Gizmek Yata The Gleaming Vanguard, because it gets a level 6 on the field easily, and can be combo'd *really* well for a synchro summon depending on the level you're gunning for. So it's not really a useful +1, considering the amount of things you need to do, but it's still useful to deck thin and use as synchro fodder.
I’ve used black and white wave in duel links, it’s hard but not to bad it helps if you have cards that allow you to summon special summon cards from the graveyard
You can discard Ojamagic to activate Ojama Country's secondary effect: specially summon any 1 Ojama monster from your graveyard, which includes Knight and King, as well as Ojama Blue for even more search. This activates Ojamagic because it was sent from the hand to the Graveyard. You can summon Tongue Twister with Mystic Tomato... or you could, back in the days when 1 turn wasn't the entire duel...
Ojamagic makes it pretty easy to use Ojama delta hurricane. There's a bunch of cards to help you search out the combo pieces for that and it can go straight into ABC dragon. And actually by setting that up you can go into some pretty good link monsters (or ojama king and knight) and still bring out ABC dragon. I've also witnessed Ojama King alone mess up people's combos because a lot of decks need more then just 2 monster spaces to pull out the cards they want. I'm not competitive player but it was definitely one of my best decks on Legacy of the Duelist.

Okay, hang on. I just tested the Alchemy Cycle thing in Legacy of the Duelist (Which uses OCG Rulings, so it may not be the same as the TCG), but it does work there. It's still pretty much useless, and you're better off running more copies of Yang Zing Creation instead, but it _does_ work.

@All Mods Are Bas- [AMAB] so is that for a 40 card deck? Because from my experience the Ojamas work best in 60. If you make a full on Chazz deck, armed dragon thunder, Ojama, and A-TO-Z you do can do all kinds of plays and the lack of once per turns on key combo cards like Ojama blue, Ojamagic, Ojamatch, and Ojamassimilation means you can you can wreak all kinds of shenanigans really fast. The deck is really resource heavy so it's actually ideal to run 60 so that you don't immediately lose after burning through everything in one go.
Ojamagic if I recall correctly was a very common card that Chazz used in a lot of his duels in the much later seasons of the anime The best example I can remember is when Kaiba donated a bunch of Vanilla Beatstick Dragon monsters with some support to go with them to "Blade" and "Dagger" (Chazz's brothers) who challenged Chazz to a duel where if he lost, Duel Academy would be torn down. Chazz, so over confident that he would destroy his scrub brothers in a duel went and purposely gave himself garbage cards as a personal handicap glued together with Ojama Support It was after that duel that Chazz started caring around 2 different decks. A deck full of Garbage Cards and Ojamas for when he wanted to make an example of a scrub and an actual serious deck full of XYZ support and Dragon Monsters.

They should really make the other four Nex upgrades. Yeah, it's just a bad Mask Change, but it would be interesting to see if there could be modern effects strong enough to be worthwhile.

Ojamagic is pretty good. In an ojama deck you Can use ojama Blue to attack into a monster with low atk. Then add oja match and ojamagic. Oja match discards ojamagic to add one ojama and one armed dragon (which Can be the new thunder version) and you get to normal summon one of them for free while also getting 3 extra cards which Will be used for a-to-z Cannon which in an ojama deck is easy to bring out.

Arcane Barrier should have a protection effects that Spellcaster type Monsters cannot be destroy by battle or card effects once per turn while this card is on the field.

I used to run a CyDra deck using Alchemy Cycle and Machine Duplication. It was really good when running 3 copies if your back row was not straight wiped. It would be especially be good today as either a Link, XYZ, or like used to set up CyDra fusions
Top 10 most popular cards in Duel Links (I know duel links already has a popularity list, but it'd be neat to hear an explanation on them), although you should probably lump a bunch of the Blue-Eyes cards together.
Twinkle Moss actualy came in clutch for a very specific part of the duel that I lost, in Duel Links. It was the only monster I could summon and my opponent was bricking. He played one monster and waited 4 turns to draw another monster, that was used to defeat me. In he meantime, he purposely attacked into Twinkle Moss to kill it. I kept drawing cards. But I kept drawing Neos specific spells that I couldn't play. 10/10 would recommend
During the Xyz era, I used the shit out of Human-Wave Tactics, Tri-Wright, Back-Up Soldiers, any trap or spell that dealt with lvl 1 normal monsters to summon “Crime” and “Punishment.” Back when the game was extremely casual.
(7:10) To be fair to Tongue Twister, most of the decks I play barely use Normal Summons (Special Summoning what could be tribute fodder from the Hand, Deck or Grave) - and it works with the Link 1 monster "Salamangreat Almiraj"... so in modern Yu-Gi-Oh, I could actually see this card having decent potential funnily enough.
I use Alchemy Cycle with Amazon Swords Woman to make her attack 0 in the damage step. To make this more consistent you can attack a Lava Golem you setup on defense on purpose (so she is not destroyed and continue to battle damage your opponent), or in attack position and you get to draw one card. A burn deck around this idea can be built with secret barrel, and other burn cards, well at least in 2005 PSP games
3:15 Actually, Aerosol is just written really badly and it places counters on the targeted monster equal to its own level and not the discarded cloudian's.
Alchemy Cycle in an amazoness deck. During your turn, get your 2 or 3 Amazoness Swordswoman to 0 atk, use them to attack your opponent's monsters so they're destroyed by battle while dealing damage to your opponent all the while getting to draw cards during the end phase if you still didn't win from the swordswoman effect.
I think the issue with Nitro syncron is that It's a level 2 tuner but its target is a LEVEL 7 card, which means it requires a level 5 monster instead of a level 4 one, making it very difficult to special summon compared to a level 2 summon.
To be honest, the Diamond Dust Cyclone is used as a combo with Cloudian Ghost Fog, who negates battle damage and when is destroyed by battle you can place Fog Counters on the monster that destroyed it equal to its level. So ram Ghost Fog into an opponent monster to place counters on it and immediately use Diamond Dust Cyclone since is a Quick-Play spell to destroy the monster and draw, which would be neutral if you destroyed a level 4 to 7 monster, +1 if destroyed a level 8 to 11 monster and +2 if you destroyed a level 12 monster. But yeah, even then stills hard to use and Cloudians have better options to draw cards, stills hilarious when pulled off correctly.
I wish that the Synchro Warriors got some new support, Quickdraw Plant was one of my favorite decks. New Stardust support captures the same general gameplay concept of the deck but it isn't really the same. Really Quickdraw is so good getting new Synchron-based Synchros would be a treat. Maybe follow up after Junk Speeder by making them Nitro/Turbo/Drill/Road etc Speeder?
In a weird way, I can kind of see Alchemy Cycle working if you had say Winged Kuriboh on the field. If you were to equip it with Ring of Magnetism (Or something like Taunt), then it would be the primary attack target first since due to Ring of Magnetism's effect. And if you really want to clear your field with the rest of the monsters and get some more card, right when your opponents turn starts you can activate Battle Mania. It'll put all their monsters in attack position, and they have to attack if they're able to, which they will since all your monsters would be at 0ATK by the time you activate Alchemy Cycle. Yeah it's a backwards way of doing things and could probably be a -8 with the cards you have to use (I'm adding the spells, traps and monsters there, dunno if that works or not.) But if you really need some new cards in your hand, then it could be a solid combo
I liked using Alchemy Cycle after summoning three Amazoness Swordswoman, often with Inferno Reckless Summon, if you’re Opponents monsters are strong enough you can often win the duel right there, but of course my deck was SUPER casual because I was curious if I could make use of Card of Last Will... super slow because it relies on Trap cards but it was a potential plus eight. I really think Card of Last Will could be legal even a deck built around using it doesn’t have the good time trying to pull it off, And all that advantage was usually redundant since Amazoness Swordswoman usually put the nail in the coffin.
I never realized the NEX Fusions limit you in using their original version. Probably the biggest reason for this is because I've never bothered with them in the first place, but even then, the deck and Extra Deck are 2 separate cardpiles so I probably still wouldn't think of it. Even though I do know that's also how the Side Deck works despite also being a separate card pile (I know you can't put 3 Cyber Harpies in it to swap with your 3 Harpie Lady 1s for example), it's still just different. It's a sad thing NEX never became popular, I can already imagine the amount of disqualifications.

About the Ojamagic ,I agree it's bad. But as an ojama user on a casual level. The new Armed Dragon Thunders (which need discards of monsters to level up) can use the Ojamas from Ojamagic. Which then combos with Ojamassimilation. And Ojamatch can add an Armed Dragon and an Ojama monsters to hand. So with Ojamagic - Ojamassimilation and Ojamatch you got full combo. (DO NOT take this the wrong way, it's still bad and situational. But I think it should be mentioned.)

8:00 This card could work in a Reptilianne Deck to some extend. You would activate that card during your turn and then use "Reptilianne Vaskii" to tribute all your opponents monster away and trample over the rest. Just to name 1 option out of many with Reptilianne.

Ojamagic technically is also somewhat useful for some Exodia shenanigans as you could get 9 Ojamas in hand via 3 Ojamagic and then just mulligan your hand with cards like Magical Mallet and Reload until you draw all 5 pieces of Exodia.
I put twinkle moss higher in the list. You can search glow moss with neo connector to make it more consistent.
I remember saw some old OCG dragunity list play black and white wave, cause their old combo path require use one of their lv6 sychro to make the rank6 Hieratic monsters.
Nitro Synchron is an interesting case. I mean, I guess nowadays, you could always go into Junk Speeder, and then use Nitro Synchron to summon Nitro Warrior that way, but is it really worth it at that point? Seems like kind of a waste when you could have just picked a better level 2 Synchron like Fleur Synchron, and went into something better while extending your combo.
I feel like they wanted to do something like what they did with the Junk archetype with Junk Synchron being able to make Junk Archer, Junk Destroyer, Junk Warrior, and all them. But, then they probably realized after most people who summon Junk Archer do it via Quickdraw Synchron instead of Junk Synchron, and the same was true of Nitro Warrior, they probably just figured they'd scrap the concept preemptively. Not like I blame them, when they have a really powerful card to compete with like Quickdraw Synchron.
Or maybe Nitro Synchron was just a cop out Synchron where they knew you'd just use Quickdraw Synchron instead, and the +1 effect off it was just something random they added, with some future-proofing like you find on a few other cards in the game. You know, since the other synchro warriors have a Synchron, Nitro Warrior needed one even though no one would use it.
Let's also mention the fact that Tongue Twister has a "when" condition so it has all the chances in the world to misstiming whenever it's used as a material for any synchro/link summon
Maybe not for Hieratics but as their tribute is a cost and an effect happens right behind it, I think it would also cause misstiming

No I’ve used Tongue Twister in a DARK graveyard deck and it still activates when you synchro with it.
Okay, hear me out, but this is how I used alchemy cycle in gimmick decks. I would use dna surgery to make my monsters machine, then use alchemy cycle to make one monster have 0 attack. Then I could use machine dupe to summon 2 more from my deck.
Even worse, sometimes that monster would be elemental hero prisma so I could have 3 prismas on the field. Then I could use their effects to send different monsters to the grave to copy their names for whatever reason.
Some of the dumbest reasons I have used this prisma thing for:
Making them the sacred beasts to make Armatyle
Using Neos and neospacians to make neos contact fusions
Idk if you could do abc/xyz but maybe?
Generic rank 4 xyz
Blue eyes twin burst dragon

Tongue twister can be used to make salamangreat almirag because of its low statline and that could trigger its effect to draw. This means that if you tribute summon it, getting it into the graveyard is as easy as linking it away for almiraj.
Twinkle mosses actually reminds of a mechanic in another cardgame designed by the same guy who i assume wrote the Yu-Gi-Oh R manga it's called Cardfight vanguard and there when you attack you get to perform a Drive Check which is revealing the top most card on your deck and then if the card has a Trigger which gives you a variety of effects based on which trigger it is you get to give power to one of your "monsters" i don't know if anyone who knows Cardfight vanguard would agree with me but i had to immediately think of that when you brought twinkle moss up

You're mistaken with dark hole part, because arcane barrier say "a face-up spellcaster monster(s)/ place 1 spell counter on this card" but it doesn't say for each one, so not only they have to be face-up but also if 2 or more were simultaneously destroyed, you still get 1 spell counter.

I used to play a Nitro Warrior deck in the Yu Gi Oh 5Ds World Championship 2011 game for the DS. By summoning Cyber Dragon and following up with Nitro Synchron I had everything I needed to summon the warrior. I also ran Evolution Burst so the summoned Cyber Dragon could destroy something before being used as synchro material. I only used that deck early in the game though until I could get cards to make something better, but still it was a lot of fun.

So about Tongue Twister, it's actually really useful in Duel Links if you also use Gizmek Yata The Gleaming Vanguard, because it gets a level 6 on the field easily, and can be combo'd *really* well for a synchro summon depending on the level you're gunning for.
So it's not really a useful +1, considering the amount of things you need to do, but it's still useful to deck thin and use as synchro fodder.
I dueled a deck with those cards recently. I can't remember if I was playing Thunder Dragons or Harpies at the time.

Eye of the Typhoon has the most disturbing card art ever and I am never ready for it.
You can discard Ojamagic to activate Ojama Country's secondary effect: specially summon any 1 Ojama monster from your graveyard, which includes Knight and King, as well as Ojama Blue for even more search. This activates Ojamagic because it was sent from the hand to the Graveyard.
You can summon Tongue Twister with Mystic Tomato... or you could, back in the days when 1 turn wasn't the entire duel...
Ojamagic makes it pretty easy to use Ojama delta hurricane. There's a bunch of cards to help you search out the combo pieces for that and it can go straight into ABC dragon. And actually by setting that up you can go into some pretty good link monsters (or ojama king and knight) and still bring out ABC dragon. I've also witnessed Ojama King alone mess up people's combos because a lot of decks need more then just 2 monster spaces to pull out the cards they want.
I'm not competitive player but it was definitely one of my best decks on Legacy of the Duelist.

Okay, hang on. I just tested the Alchemy Cycle thing in Legacy of the Duelist (Which uses OCG Rulings, so it may not be the same as the TCG), but it does work there. It's still pretty much useless, and you're better off running more copies of Yang Zing Creation instead, but it _does_ work.

@All Mods Are Bas- [AMAB] so is that for a 40 card deck? Because from my experience the Ojamas work best in 60. If you make a full on Chazz deck, armed dragon thunder, Ojama, and A-TO-Z you do can do all kinds of plays and the lack of once per turns on key combo cards like Ojama blue, Ojamagic, Ojamatch, and Ojamassimilation means you can you can wreak all kinds of shenanigans really fast. The deck is really resource heavy so it's actually ideal to run 60 so that you don't immediately lose after burning through everything in one go.
Ojamagic if I recall correctly was a very common card that Chazz used in a lot of his duels in the much later seasons of the anime
The best example I can remember is when Kaiba donated a bunch of Vanilla Beatstick Dragon monsters with some support to go with them to "Blade" and "Dagger" (Chazz's brothers) who challenged Chazz to a duel where if he lost, Duel Academy would be torn down.
Chazz, so over confident that he would destroy his scrub brothers in a duel went and purposely gave himself garbage cards as a personal handicap glued together with Ojama Support
It was after that duel that Chazz started caring around 2 different decks. A deck full of Garbage Cards and Ojamas for when he wanted to make an example of a scrub and an actual serious deck full of XYZ support and Dragon Monsters.

Ojamagic is pretty good. In an ojama deck you Can use ojama Blue to attack into a monster with low atk. Then add oja match and ojamagic. Oja match discards ojamagic to add one ojama and one armed dragon (which Can be the new thunder version) and you get to normal summon one of them for free while also getting 3 extra cards which Will be used for a-to-z Cannon which in an ojama deck is easy to bring out.

I used to run a CyDra deck using Alchemy Cycle and Machine Duplication. It was really good when running 3 copies if your back row was not straight wiped. It would be especially be good today as either a Link, XYZ, or like used to set up CyDra fusions
Top 10 most popular cards in Duel Links (I know duel links already has a popularity list, but it'd be neat to hear an explanation on them), although you should probably lump a bunch of the Blue-Eyes cards together.
Twinkle Moss actualy came in clutch for a very specific part of the duel that I lost, in Duel Links.
It was the only monster I could summon and my opponent was bricking. He played one monster and waited 4 turns to draw another monster, that was used to defeat me. In he meantime, he purposely attacked into Twinkle Moss to kill it.
I kept drawing cards.
But I kept drawing Neos specific spells that I couldn't play.
10/10 would recommend

During the Xyz era, I used the shit out of Human-Wave Tactics, Tri-Wright, Back-Up Soldiers, any trap or spell that dealt with lvl 1 normal monsters to summon “Crime” and “Punishment.” Back when the game was extremely casual.

I like going Cloudian - Ghost Fog into Diamond Dust Tornado. There is also Cloudian Storm Dragon that adds a counter with a special summon.
(7:10) To be fair to Tongue Twister, most of the decks I play barely use Normal Summons (Special Summoning what could be tribute fodder from the Hand, Deck or Grave) - and it works with the Link 1 monster "Salamangreat Almiraj"... so in modern Yu-Gi-Oh, I could actually see this card having decent potential funnily enough.
I use Alchemy Cycle with Amazon Swords Woman to make her attack 0 in the damage step. To make this more consistent you can attack a Lava Golem you setup on defense on purpose (so she is not destroyed and continue to battle damage your opponent), or in attack position and you get to draw one card. A burn deck around this idea can be built with secret barrel, and other burn cards, well at least in 2005 PSP games

Alchemy Cycle in an amazoness deck. During your turn, get your 2 or 3 Amazoness Swordswoman to 0 atk, use them to attack your opponent's monsters so they're destroyed by battle while dealing damage to your opponent all the while getting to draw cards during the end phase if you still didn't win from the swordswoman effect.
I too have really wanted Alchemy Cycle to be useful. I brainstorm almost any time I see it in my stash of miscellaneous cards.
I used to use alchemy cycle to use machine duplication on cards like blowback dragon because for some reason it changes the monster’s ORIGINAL attack
I used "Alchemy Cycle" back in the day to reduce any machine monster ATK to 0 and then use "Machine Duplication" to bring other copies from the deck

I think the issue with Nitro syncron is that It's a level 2 tuner but its target is a LEVEL 7 card, which means it requires a level 5 monster instead of a level 4 one, making it very difficult to special summon compared to a level 2 summon.
To be honest, the Diamond Dust Cyclone is used as a combo with Cloudian Ghost Fog, who negates battle damage and when is destroyed by battle you can place Fog Counters on the monster that destroyed it equal to its level.
So ram Ghost Fog into an opponent monster to place counters on it and immediately use Diamond Dust Cyclone since is a Quick-Play spell to destroy the monster and draw, which would be neutral if you destroyed a level 4 to 7 monster, +1 if destroyed a level 8 to 11 monster and +2 if you destroyed a level 12 monster.
But yeah, even then stills hard to use and Cloudians have better options to draw cards, stills hilarious when pulled off correctly.
I wish that the Synchro Warriors got some new support, Quickdraw Plant was one of my favorite decks.
New Stardust support captures the same general gameplay concept of the deck but it isn't really the same. Really Quickdraw is so good getting new Synchron-based Synchros would be a treat. Maybe follow up after Junk Speeder by making them Nitro/Turbo/Drill/Road etc Speeder?
In a weird way, I can kind of see Alchemy Cycle working if you had say Winged Kuriboh on the field.
If you were to equip it with Ring of Magnetism (Or something like Taunt), then it would be the primary attack target first since due to Ring of Magnetism's effect. And if you really want to clear your field with the rest of the monsters and get some more card, right when your opponents turn starts you can activate Battle Mania. It'll put all their monsters in attack position, and they have to attack if they're able to, which they will since all your monsters would be at 0ATK by the time you activate Alchemy Cycle.
Yeah it's a backwards way of doing things and could probably be a -8 with the cards you have to use (I'm adding the spells, traps and monsters there, dunno if that works or not.) But if you really need some new cards in your hand, then it could be a solid combo

I liked using Alchemy Cycle after summoning three Amazoness Swordswoman, often with Inferno Reckless Summon, if you’re Opponents monsters are strong enough you can often win the duel right there, but of course my deck was SUPER casual because I was curious if I could make use of Card of Last Will... super slow because it relies on Trap cards but it was a potential plus eight. I really think Card of Last Will could be legal even a deck built around using it doesn’t have the good time trying to pull it off, And all that advantage was usually redundant since Amazoness Swordswoman usually put the nail in the coffin.

I never realized the NEX Fusions limit you in using their original version. Probably the biggest reason for this is because I've never bothered with them in the first place, but even then, the deck and Extra Deck are 2 separate cardpiles so I probably still wouldn't think of it. Even though I do know that's also how the Side Deck works despite also being a separate card pile (I know you can't put 3 Cyber Harpies in it to swap with your 3 Harpie Lady 1s for example), it's still just different.
It's a sad thing NEX never became popular, I can already imagine the amount of disqualifications.

About the Ojamagic ,I agree it's bad. But as an ojama user on a casual level. The new Armed Dragon Thunders (which need discards of monsters to level up) can use the Ojamas from Ojamagic. Which then combos with Ojamassimilation. And Ojamatch can add an Armed Dragon and an Ojama monsters to hand. So with Ojamagic - Ojamassimilation and Ojamatch you got full combo. (DO NOT take this the wrong way, it's still bad and situational. But I think it should be mentioned.)

I don't think it would since Citadel can only supply counters that would be removed from the card as a cost.
8:00 This card could work in a Reptilianne Deck to some extend. You would activate that card during your turn and then use "Reptilianne Vaskii" to tribute all your opponents monster away and trample over the rest. Just to name 1 option out of many with Reptilianne.
