Solo Hiking The Peak District in a Rainstorm - Outdoor Cinematic Silent Walking (Ambient ASMR)

- Discover the Peak District National Park in the rain with this relaxing and cinematic solo hiking adventure across misty moorland and waterlogged woodland. Shot in a way we've never shared before, this mini adventure features a lone hiker making his way across the terrain on search for shelter, before finding refuge in a cave, tucked away in a forest-filled dale.
We hope you enjoy this new video which although is a solo-venture, is from us both. Sit back, relax, (but maybe put on your coat).

Breathtaking, absolutely breathtaking scenery my friend. Shots and music are epic! 👏👏
Thank you so much!! The Peak District scenery did most of the work 😊
Amazing video. Thanks for sharing. subbed & 👍95
Beautiful video. So relaxing!
Thank you very much! ☺️
Great video I live in bamford I have always loved the hope valley will always live here 👍👍
Simply WOW! Beautifully shot , that was certainly alot of walking back & forth for you but the end result was so worth it. Best wishes to you both
what a day! glad you had decent gear.. brings new meaning to the phrase 'man cave' best wishes to you both :)
Gut gemacht, interessant, vielen lieben Dank dafür 👍 Siggi und Anne 🎹🔔❤️
Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich das Video angesehen haben. Wir freuen uns, dass es Ihnen gefallen hat
What an incredibly atmospheric and well thought out vid, I really enjoyed every single minute of it. Your channel is criminally under subscribed, ATB Steve
Thank you Steve for such lovely comments. Really glad you enjoyed this one, makes getting soaked all worth while 😅 Cheers from us both ✌️
Wow! wow! wow! You've certainly smashed this one Kyle. I loved it. Very relaxing with the rainfall. I'm very proud of you on this excellent video. It must have taken hours with all the running back and forth setting up the cameras! Well done. Lots of love Mutti xx❤️🔥🔥
Thank you muti ❤️❤️ Glad you enjoyed this one, it wasn't perhaps as relaxing to make than it was to watch, warm and dry 😂 Xxx
Smashed it, great video mate, well done and put togethr great!, hope you, Hay and baby bump are all doing well :)
Thanks so much dude, much appreciated ✌️ Baby bump is cooking along nicely, thanks for asking. We'll both be in the next one, so will see you then ☺️ Cheers!
@@HayandKyle no probs mate, still not seen you both come to the Moorlands yet!. I know you both like pizza and tomorrow will be your best day to come with it being 50% off on pizzas on Tuesdays! not only that im on pizzas all day on Tuesdays! so you be getting the best of the best with me being on there :D
Loved the ambient feel to this. A man and his flask😉
Intrigued where you were. At around 3.30 it reminded me of a slate quarry- maybe where they quarried for stone roof tiles, pre slate?
I love how you keep experimenting with different filing styles. Look forward to the next one.
Thanks for watching Zoy! ❤️ Just catching up with all the comments!! Can't beat a flask when out in cold weather 😂
well done, glad your getting better after the dreaded Covid😣
No such thing as bad weather, just bad clothes! Stunning scenery, and fabulous video as ever Mr H!
Agreed, although the coat wasn't great for this one, may as well have not been wearing it eventually 😂 Thanks for watching, really glad you enjoyed this one 🙂✌️
Hi Kyle and Haley, great video of Kyle's hike through the Peak District National Park in the rain. The scenery there is really magnificent and enjoyed seeing the cave and hearing the water drip from the cave walls.
Good to see Kyle able to hike after him having Co-vid.
Hello! 👋Thank you for tuning in as usual, always nice to see you in the comments. Kyle has recovered fully from COVID now, so no excuses for not getting out into the hills 😂 Glad you enjoyed the video, we'll both see you in the next one
Very atmospheric and at times, desolate...but also very enjoyable!
Thank you, we're both glad you enjoyed it. The moorland especially is desolate, but also beautiful in it's own way 🙂 Cheers for watching! ✌️
Oh my gosh... so beautifully soothing! This had me from the moment I pressed play until the very end. The sounds and edit are amazing! 👏
Thank you ! 😁😁 Spent quite a while on this one tweaking the sounds and music, so glad you appreciated it. Thanks for watching 😊
I could have watched a full hour of this, super relaxing
Thanks so much for watching, and don't give us ideas 😉😁
Love how relaxing this is, I was so chilled it actually made me completely forget how many times you had to redo each section of path to go back and get the camera 😂
Thanks for tuning in Gavin. Picking up the camera was a real work out on this one, I wasn't cold, put it that way 😂 Cheers for watching, hope you three are doing ok in Mac ✌️
Very cinematic a man searching across rain-soaked terrain in search of shelter poetic & being without speaking made it more compelling just beautiful sounds of nature & excellent cave too & ambient music very good enjoy the Trek protein bar I'm always necking down those Huel Complete Meal Shakes & Derbyshire Tea of course
Thanks so much, we really appreciate comments like this ☺️ There was a good mix of sounds in this one and was a lot of fun to put together. The Trek bar was just enough to get back to the car 😂 See you in the next one soon ✌️
Great video, some of our favourite weather to be out in. Nice to see a different style from you, really enjoyed it! 🌧️
Thanks so much! 😊
The misty fog is so beautiful!
Thank you mountain girl! It definitely adds to the atmosphere of the video and surroundings 🥾🌧️
We both loved it.. great photography... But having followed you from the start there was an element of me being a softy for missing you both.. knowing full well a gud reason for you on yr own .. it was funny cos i felt it then R said same . .. well done Kyle im sure you felt it too . Lv Ali/R x
Thank you Alison for you both tuning in to watch. Both me and Hayley will feature in the next one together, (we've already filmed it) so there's that to look forward to. Also a special thank you just to you for your ongoing support of us both, it means more than you realise, we both really appreciate having you as part of our community here on TH-cam ☺️ Have a great week ahead, and we'll see you soon ✌️
Thankyou for yr kind words.. hope Hayley and bump doing gud.. ❤ x
New subscriber 👍
Welcome to the gang 😊👋
Loved this edit! Really chill :)
Glad you enjoyed it Lucy and thanks for tuning in 😊
A very well earned hot drink and flapjack at the end of the video there. Good effort in getting out filming in those conditions. Brilliant video, really enjoyed watching this. Epidemic sound should be paying you for this
Thank you Mr Topics. The drink was ... moderately luke-warm after 6 hours of filming 😂😭 Thank you again for showing us the spots featured, without you, this video would have been very different! ❤️
Superb video made under difficult conditions. The peak district weather, being so changeable, can easily catch out the unprepared . Thirst House Cave makes for a welcome shelter - especially under those conditions. Did you manage to find the inscription "T.E.1661" on the cave wall? I hope Hay is in good health and have you thought of any names yet for the baby? Watching out for the next video with interest.
Sorry for the late response we must have missed this comment! Thank you for tuning in and your positive feedback :) Much appreciated from us both. Actually didn't find that inscription in the cave, although to be fair I was mainly looking out for cave spiders 🕷️😅 We do have a name for the baby and have done for a while, but we're not telling anyone 😂🤫
Another fine advert for the beautiful peak district :)
Cheers Slater, much appreciated 😊👌How are you doing? It's been a while since our last upload 😅
@@HayandKyle Worth the wait though.
Really liked the video, a nice style. That looked similar to Chee Dale around the Monsal Trail, the moss on the branches and tress make a magnificent colour.
Thanks so much for watching. ☺️ This was shot at two locations 10 minutes outside of Buxton 👍 See you in the next one
🌧
Awesome edits! Bet it took you ages to film! I started filming some of my runs around the moors and it really makes me appreciate how much extra time filming adds on! (Nearly got stuck at the top of the Yorkshire 3 peaks a few days ago...in the dark lol). Love the ambient sounds you captured and the ones you added really go perfectly :) Would have liked to see a rough map of your route at the start/end (i'm from the Peak District) ;)
Ello 👋 Thanks for watching this evening. This one did take rather a while to film, you're exactly right 😅 There is always a lot of running back to collect the camera, as you already appreciate 🥵 Regarding to the route, this was actually two separate locations about 10 minutes drive apart outside Buxton. I might actually add in the what3words into the description so people can go for themselves, so thank you for the suggestion 👍
Great to c u back great video editing 👍
Thanks so much. Had a lot of fun with the edit 😊Glad you enjoyed it
Great to see you back👍 great video as always, must have been hard for you on your own specially in the weather, but you did well Kyle. Hope Hayley is doing alright 👍
It's good to be back 😊 Thanks for the kind words. It was probably one of the hardest videos to film solo 🥲 Thank you for asking about Hayley, she's doing really very well. You'll see her in the next video we have already filmed 😊👍
Superb
Hi, another great video, this weather has been terrible, i go out come rain or shine as Dottie needs her daily walk, hope Hayley is ok 👍
Hi Pam 😊 Thanks for tuning in this evening, we hope you and Dottie are ok, (even in the wet weather we've had recently) Hayley is doing really well thank you, she's not got long now 😊👶
Another great video I think the notalk videos can sometimes draw you in more as it set a story and your compelled to want to find out what happens throught the video 😊 great work
Thank you for the kind words. 🙏We do like to sprinkle these in every now and then. 😁Really glad you enjoyed this one, much appreciated for you tuning in. We'll both see you in the next one
Awwww Kyle 🚶♂️🌧❤️🥰 Xxx
This is absolutely lush. Some incredible shots there, and the audio was almost ethereal!❤
Hey you two! Thanks so much, we appreciate it 😊👍 Hope you are both keeping ok. 😁
Ay up🦆.just wow what a fantastic lunch stop.or snap as we say in South derbyshire. Was it strange doing the film on yr own.
Ay up me 🦆 The snap was serviceable this day, could have been more substantial, but it did the job in the 5 star accommodation of the cave 😅 Glad you enjoyed this one, we'll both be in the next one together. See you soon 👍
@@HayandKyle can't wait 👍
Where is your rucksack from? It looks like a really good bag!
Thanks! It's a Gomatic Peter McKinnon bag. It's actually the best gear bag we've ever owned, if not a tad expensive 😬 I think we have a link to it in our description 👍
@@HayandKyle amazing thank you, i’ll have a look! It looks like a really good baby hiking bag! 👀
Edit: oh wow! That’s expensive 😂😭
Yeah....we are pretty convinced the price has hiked waaay up for some reason. That particular one is a collab with another TH-camr which is why it's priced ridiculous 😅 That company do other bags though 😊
Where's hay ?
We posted an update in our previous video 👍🏼☺️
I'll have to watch it hope she's okay mate
