Join us on an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Ladakh, as we continue our road trip from Durbuk to Pangong Tso via Tangtse. In this adventure-packed video, we share our experiences as we traverse through rugged terrains, stunning vistas, and iconic filming locations.
Setting out from Durbuk, make sure to top up your fuel tanks and carry extra fuel, as the route to Darcha had limited refueling options. En route, we encountered the mesmerizing locale where scenes from the Bollywood movie "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" were filmed, adding an extra layer of cinematic charm to our journey.
As we neared Pangong Tso, anticipation grew, especially knowing we were approaching the famed 3 Idiots Shooting Point. Arriving around 4 PM, we were greeted by the serene beauty of Pangong Tso, with September's mild weather making the experience even more delightful.
Initially planning to camp by the lake, we decided to opt for a homestay in Maan village due to the chilly climate. Fortunately, we found a cozy homestay offering comfort at a reasonable price of just Rs. 500 for both of us.
But the adventure doesn't end here! Stay tuned for our next day's plan as we head towards Hanle via the Chushul & Razangla War Memorial, exploring more of Ladakh's hidden treasures and commemorating its rich history.
