Good thing, because deleting injection would blow it up . Suzuki injection directly injects to crank bearings. Without they don’t get proper lubrication
I owned a 1975? GT185 I rode to college in San Francisco. It was a $250 find from the SF Police auction. I would "guess' the 50-1 oil ratio when I gassed up and lay a spoke trail two blocks long that smelled like Castrol Racing R. It was a blast to ride-even after owning an RD-350 and RD-400 before. I like your cafe look!
Nice bike been nice if you didn't grab the exhaust the oils on your hand will burn the oil from into the chrome permanently should have just touch the cooling fins. I'd really love to have that bike I'm actually restoring a Suzuki re5 at the moment.
@@tubuskan4348 I've never put a titanium header on a vehicle but I did make the mistake when I was younger when I installed some 304 stainless header on a Mazda rx7 and didn't wipe the oils off from my hands and it burned my finger prints into them permanently. Ever since then I don't touch stainless exhaust pipes bare handed if I do they get cleaned first before heated.
eBay special. I believe it is a reproduction honda tank. Just do a search for "cafe racer tank". Be aware, its pretty cheaply made. I ended up welding my own dual bungs for fuel delivery and I ended up sealing with caswell because its pretty thin metal.
I like to think I “saved” it rather than “ruined” it. It was heavily rusted and not in a restorable condition. I could have simply parted out what few good parts were left, or worse yet, taken it in for scrap. Instead, I built a custom bike that found a home with a very appreciative new owner. I believe that is all that really matters isn’t it?
@@sbaugrud6281It's not ruined it's magnificent this inspires me with my re5 she's in really rough shape and parts are almost impossible to find I may end up going this way as well. To get it back on the road. But I will not sell it. I saved mine from a guy that was parting the bike out and she's heavily rusted
Nothing comes close to the sound of a twin cylinder two strokes......so badass
Smoqp😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
Nice! glad to see you kept it injected, versus "deleting" the oil tank and injection system. Super clean bike, and it sounds killer!

Nice job on the bike, from a fellow Wisconsinite.
Superb sound! Nice work! My baby was my Yamaha R5 1972 350cc.

I am surprised it only has 15hp ? my 1973 TS 185 single enduro had 17hp :)
beautiful bike!
Amazing

That’s only if it’s titanium

Loving hearing those Higgspeeds!
Why no smike?
Original spec is 18/20HP. :)
ベリーナイス!
Gets rid of speedo, tach, electric start, turn signals...keeps oil injection.
Thanks captain obvious
How much did you get for it? Really cool bike!
Not as much as I wanted. These small cc bikes don’t bring the big bucks
Wov!
What model fuel tank is that?

@@sbaugrud6281 thank you very much
What pipes are you running ?

Ruined

@@sbaugrud6281 Okey good save and to each his own but If you got all the original parts would you restore her to original spec.
Ruined? If the video was titled GT185 restored but it’s not . You get what it says . What a fine job too.
I love rx3s and rx7s I've owned a few my new project is a 1975 Suzuki re5. Rotary for life brother
