In my opinion "Does anybody remember laughter?" refers to the grim and miserable state the UK was in at the time ...eg Energy Crisis and three day working week. Perhaps Planty forgot he was across the pond, or maybe the US were in dire straits themselves at the time too.

Skynard Freebird. 10/11 Prince Purple Rain/While My guitar Gently weeps. 12 and back to more Led Zep with Whole Lotta Love. If you want to hear one of the greatest live songs check out Do You Feel Like We Do y Peter Frampton! Also the studio version of Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. Two great guitar songs!

    Excellent reaction gentlemen.
So I saw zeppelin 4 times live. I have known thousands of zeppelin fans in my life. I can tell you this: not everyone always agrees, but the consensus is that 'kashmir' is zeppelin's opus….Even according to Robert and Jimmy and the rest of the band But ...the kingdom of Led Zeppelin was built on the foundation of 'stairway to heaven'. I have always believed this consensus and I will go to my grave thinking the same.

The original studio solo on Stairway, is the most concise and perfect ever - even though Jimmy touches God during that MSG gig... The studio one so impressed Frank Zappa, he did an orchestrated version.

was the best! It's so cool to relive the first feelings I had back during that time!
Even better than that. The reactions give me new insights that I missed living during that time. And that's special to me! Thanks Dudes!

to fully appreciate LZ, please react to 2 songs...."how many more times" live from earls court 1970 (january)...it demonstrates amazing range of emotions...power, boogie woogie, sonic blues....after you have listened to it...then react to "ten years gone" from the live 1977 LA forum concert (june)...
it expresses the amazing sensitivity in jimmys head....this band dwarfs all others....!!!!
