Love the broccoli beef supper and the chicken teriyaki stir fry too 👍🏼👍🏼 You can toss most meat (when not canned up) in your corn starch like you would with say “dusting” the meat as it browns up it will creat it’s own gravy/sauce and thicken too. My friend is a chef he makes his orange stir frythis way and uses orange Marmalade jam with 2-3 tbs of frozen orange juice.
Yum 😁 I cooked a roast and saved my juice as family scarfed down the roast lol raw packed a huge pack of stew meat from sams added my roast juice a quarter of each jar on juice. Canned it and hubby just raves about how tender and tasty the meals I made with that meat 😁 thank you for showing us how 😁
I make mine about the same way. I use more broth, only because we like the extra sauce for rice. I haven't been to a Chinese/Asian place in almost 3 yrs. I haven't been to a Mexican in over 3.
Winner for sure! We had this today over rice. I didn't have any brown sugar substitute so used powdered Stevia. It was still awesome. I added celery and cant wait to try it again with sesame oil. However, I too vote for the little sticks, Paul. :) thanks for this!
Leisa, this looks absolutely delicious. Definitely going to add this to my recipe stash. Since I don't can anymore, I will pick up the beef at the deli or use some leftover roast when I have some. Thank you so much for sharing this one, I know it will be a keeper. Stay well and have a Blessed day. BTW Phil...I like the little sticks on mine too. hahaha
Looks delicious I can’t wait to try it with my canned beef! Thanks for sharing this one for sure. The next time I can beef would it be OK to add a little broth or water to it even though it is it necessary? I would like to have a little excess liquid to help make some gravy
Looks really good! I'd like it more saucy how would I do that? This going on my list to try. I'm new to meat canning and dehydration it's like Christmas and a new toy!
Suttons Daze thank you so much! There’s nothing worse ruining a dish with raw flour. By the way, I’m new to your channel and I’m loving your videos. I have much to catch up on though. 😊 May God shower you with blessings.

looks like a winner dinner but we are greedy and would require twice as much broccoli as my kids love those little trees ^_^
Some canned mushrooms would be so good in it too.
Ohhhhh Leisa this looks absolutely fabulous, this is going to be made!!
[Volunteers to be Taste-Tester on Phil's day off]. : )
Hahahahaa

I. Need. That. Whisk!

Did you buy that wisk like that, or beat it up when you got it home. :)
Ha! Pampered chef used to offer them.

Need to top it with Frank’s Red Hot or some Siracha!
can't use corn starch which would be the best substitute? tapioca starts, arrowroot powder, potato starch or flour.
Wow nice! 😍❤❤
😋 yum yum
Hi there. New here. Playing catch-up on videos. Looking for new ideas on what to can.
🤣 little sticks! My Hubby will ask for rice.
😁

Double the sauce mixture ❤
Dab of sour cream and some of those shredded Cheeses ✔
My husband is allergic to corn. How would I thicken with flour without it tasting like raw uncooked flour?
with the seasonings included, you wont taste the flour at all. Just flour and butter or oil. Make a rue like you would for gravy.

Leisa,
Did you use canned roast beef or steak? This is my kind of recipe! I was literally going to get Chinese takeout tonight. Not anymore..
I don't can steak, just roast.
When I think about it, beef roast probably tastes no different than steak, mixed in with the marinade. Brilliant!
@ConnieSmith-p3p and its less expensive likely
Excellent point!!
this is tomorrow night's dinner
Can I can this?
Ni, broccoli and corn starch are not to be canned. You would not like the results.
Yum!
