Bastian's story: getting the Medtronic Aurora EV-ICD™ system.

Bastian, a 38-year-old forklift driver from Hannover, experienced severe heart symptoms on his way to work and decided to consult his doctor. He was told his heart was enlarged and he could experience a sudden cardiac arrest anytime and needed a defibrillator.
He received the Medtronic Aurora EV-ICD extravascular implantable defibrillator. He now calls it “my best friend.” Watch his story.
