IMO, this car and the Losi XX4 were the loveliest 4WD cars to drive. The YZ10 however, gets the Numero Uno spot by being a cinch to work on. The XX4 was a nightmare! Love your channel.
I had the chance to get one of these NIB as well as a built Bulldog for a very good price but I couldn’t afford it at the time. Always bugged me. Great video
Very cool and it is a great looking kit and I agree, once it is all painted up it will really come alive! I do kind of like the clear shell on it but painted it will look even better! Take care bud and I will be looking forward to what you have up next!!
Keith in a older video you mentioned this car is difficult and expensive to collect for because sellers were producing knock offs. This got me looking at the yr4 touring car(cheaper) and trying to see whats involved is converting that into a yz10. That got me thinking what exact parts are being koed? Maybe an idea for a short video to help collectors watch out for fake parts? Your expierince and knowledge would help us noob collectors a lot. Thanks bless.
Yokomo is fascinating to me these days! I must admit its more the older more early mid 80s buggies that pull me in! The Dog Fighter YZ-834B l remember seeing one in the 80s when our club visited another club it was so alien looking and wow that thing was fast on grass! The other Yokomo l only recently found out about to my shame is the Wonder Dog Fighter and they did a SE version! I don't remember anything about this version. So much l don't know about other manufacturers in this hobby! Keith l think a Dog Fighter special video in the near future is called for buddy! Lovely pair of 870c Keith such quality and awesome! Cheers James.
Hello Keith, Being an 1988 aren't the bulkheads and Hub carriers made of Magnesium rather than Alloy? she's a stunner, congratulations Buddy. Cheers and best wishes.
All time one of the very best off roaders pre 90's.
Love em!
They are in my top 5.
Can’t wait to watch, stuck bloody working 😂
Love the looks of that car I’ve been watching old RC videos really takes me back to the time when that car came out
It is a cool one for sure.
Keith, I LOVE that car! I can't believe the amount of stuff that came out during my thirty years hiatus from rc. You are very blessed my friend.
Thanks.
I love it as well. Can’t wait to finish it.
Good on you. These older kits need to be preserved!
A little piece of history.. Thanks for sharing Keith Appreciate everything you do brother.👍
Thanks
Super cool piece of RC history
Agreed

I hope so. I would like one I can run without worrying about destroying it.

OMG... I had raced this car for ages! But I had the Yokomo YZ-10 variant.
I had the chance to get one of these NIB as well as a built Bulldog for a very good price but I couldn’t afford it at the time.
Always bugged me.
Great video
Yes,
They are pricey. It will be nice if the rumors of a rere are indeed true. That way everyone will be able to afford one.
Very cool and it is a great looking kit and I agree, once it is all painted up it will really come alive! I do kind of like the clear shell on it but painted it will look even better! Take care bud and I will be looking forward to what you have up next!!

Very nice buggy. I have to admit, I've never really got into Yokomo cars, so I really don't know much about them.
Same here.
I am very new to Yokomo and it can be an expensive rabbit hole to dive down. Great design for the time.
@@rcicons4915 Wow, you are right these cars are very expensive.
Cool car, love the body with that air intake.
I love it.

I wouldn’t know what they are made of. I believe they were although I don’t know enough about Yokomo.
What do you do for work my friend? You have an amazing collection!
Such amazing cars, never had one bitd, but really wanted one. It jyst never happend 😭
It would be cool if this rere news is true.
@@rcicons4915 ive got my fingers crossed 🤞😁
Seeing this makes me want the rere if/when it comes
Yep, “If” there is a rere. Lol
Collection goal level 10 completed 🤩🤩🤩
Lol
Very nice. Isn't there a rumor that a rerelease is coming?
There is a rumor. We will see
What do you think about it being made by them again? I here it unfortunately is going for over 600+ dollars.
Nothing confirmed yet. We will see.
James Simpson?
U might as well get yourself a re-release and biuld it up if u wanna biuld one. It's a little bit different but it's still a yokomo dog fighter
Keep the shocks dry or they will leak.
Right! Every one you see has associated shocks for some reason.
That's Spanish.
