I don’t think she’s addressing it in a blindsided sort of way. It’s common knowledge at this point that fame=public facing. Which means you are vulnerable to the insane people of the world and all eyes are on you. She was simply asked what she missed before her viral attention. Obviously being lighthearted about it. She’s been doing a normal jobs and chipping at music for a decade before all this and is a grown woman. Once you reach the point that you are dropped by your label’s roster you almost stop expecting that success and the additional fame will come about.
