I was watching some of your older vids, and this caught my eye. Nice Vid, staring 09018, the oldest truck in the fleet, still in use and around today. I gotta film it sometime soon.
@@SlamminEagle at least 12 years, I can remember it with the old city of Melbourne logo, which changed in 2010, the trucks are now numbered in the 20000’s so that gives you an idea of when it was brought into service
@@SlamminEagle I hope so too, it dose litter bins pretty much every day, still going strong, the only thing that might get it replaced it because it’s outdated, e.g the lifter is controlled be switch’s and levers, which can be harder to operate than the newer Garwood/UrBin with just buttons, although the lifter isn’t used very much, due to it being on litter and most of the boys just swinging the 80Ls over their shoulders, some do opt to use the lifter tho.
