  • This has to be one of the best valleys in New Zealand for breathtaking scenery.
It's huge, with the widest part of the river bed being just over 3.5km wide.

I learnt my 4wding in series 3 Landrovers with the Christchurch Red Cross disaster relief teams back in the mid 1970s and always have a soft spot for Landrovers, although I now drive a 1996 Landcruiser Prado, once badged as a Landrover Prado when I was leading a trip for the Wellington area members of an online Landrover forum.
I am still in a 4wd club and touring New Zealand exploring the backroads and 4wd tracks today, with my publicly accessible trips published in the NZ4WD magazine.
It is great to see that the NZ scenery and travelling experience matches anything else I see on TH-cam. Please keep showcasing the NZ 4WD experience.

One of the best things about 4WDing in NZ is that you don't have to travel vast distances to get off-road.
