@premanand, Its logical about nodes and anti nodes. Why 2.4 GHZ freq inside microwave oven melt chocolate and the wifi in home doesn't (same node and anti node concept applies here also)? This is something more related to power, directivity, gain etc.. Why can't those parameters be dangerous elements? In my understanding,Microwave is a non -ionising radiation, Therefore it is not harmful.

Great to see these kinds of videos coming from LMES. A humble request: It would be great if you could also add English CC/subtitles to all your video so that they can reach people beyond the language barrier. When there are proper subtitles, even a non-English speaker can choose to use TH-cam to "auto-generate" to a language of their preference. Plus I can share these videos with my non-Tamil speaking friends/peers.
I will do whatever I can to support you on Milaap :-)

Good Video and Analysis. Would have been even better if you could have mentioned about the vessels that are safe to use within the Microwave Oven. The biggest mistake is choosing the plastic cups, holders and other vessels that are not oven safe. Also, I heard about the waves that come out after opening the door of the microwave. Is it true that we have to wait for few seconds before we actually take the food out?. Thanks for this wonderful video

I have a doubt: Lets assume that I wanna heat a circular pizza in the oven. As per your illustration, only the anti-node points which comes in touch, heats the material and material will not be heated in the other portions. As the pizza rotates the anti-node points traces to be a circle on the pizza surface. Thus only these circles gets heated and not the other parts? Thus the other points gets heated because of the heat diffused from the anti-node points touching the pizza? In that case how can the pizza be evenly cooked/ warmed? Can you pls explain it..

The video explains about the shielding of the microwave oven. Its obviously dangerous if the shielding is broken. But, we have doubt regarding the quality of the food after cooking. Microwave oven heats up by vibrating the molecules. Wont rapid heating or heating too fast cause any problem ?? Like reactions in the food item that in normal heating methods wouldnt have caused. Also heard like when normal water and water heated by microwaves are used to sprout green grams, the green grams watered from microwave heated, didnt sprout properly. [But not sure if it is true]

Whatever the science may behind it but for good health food is the source for us so the traditional way of cooking will be effective for health, current generation people are not healthier like our ancestors, technology can be used for some other things is ok, but for better health and strength we must follow the food habits in traditional way.
