Thank you for sharing your trip. I spent a couple of months in Spain a few years back and visited the Guggenheim. I recall there was a huge dog sculpture out front that was a mass of flowers. Very beautiful. I also had a coffee at the little café there and was amused to watch a little sparrow fly in and out several times helping himself to an orange & poppy seed muffin. He had eaten the entire side out. Didn’t touch any others, it kept coming back to the same one. It was on a large tray of at least a dozen muffins on the countertop. Funny, the things that stick in your mind. I loved Spain.

Thank you for taking us on your holiday. My young adult kids and I went to Europa Park in Rust Germany in 2017. It was fantastic with all the roller coasters. I think we were the only people from outside of Europe there. Many asked us how we knew about it. My son had googled best roller coasters in Europe. Astrid World looked like it was a lot of fun for your family.

Before I retired the view from my office was the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Also designed by Frank Gehry. It is covered in stainless steel. Problem was with our beautiful constant sunshine, it reflected horribly. They ended up brushing the steel to mitigate the reflection. Still a gorgeous building that I was privileged to see every day. Honestly I feel Disneyland is over-rated, but when I was in Paris I wanted go. Lol My travel companions did not. Thank you for sharing your wonderful trip! ❣️
If you remember me, I have a place near Piacenza. Finally got there for a couple of weeks. My cycling club were riding the Abbott's be way down to Pontremoli via every climb known! We did it in continuous rain. Ride back flatter but not drier. We stayed in the (ex) monastery. Wish I had the energy for a good look round but the bit we saw finding a restaurant was lovely. Enjoyed your grand tour.

Snow, we are having the same weather here in BC, Canada! Not normal! I visited Córdoba 7 yrs ago, stayed in a hostel, ate wonderful food, walked my legs off sight seeing. Wonderful village, love Spain. 🇨🇦❤️

I've always been more Asterix than Disney, I'm delighted you went there instead. I got sunburned in Sete as a youngster, that brought back some memories 👍 the ferry leaving for Morocco in the evening was a beautiful sight back then. What a trip! Well done for all that driving.

looks like you had a fantastic holiday, absolutely abysmal, well non existent, service at Disneyland and so disappointing for the kids, but hey I think you all had a better time at Parc Asterix as it didn´t look so crowded so I am guessing the cues for the rides were not so long so more time for fun.. I'm so sorry about your Disney experience it is not easy I live in northern California and we go to Florida or Disneyland in Anaheim and I have to make our reservation sometimes a year out and then get tickets and any meal you want to sit down and have you have to make your reservation 60 days prior to arrival if you're staying off property you can do it a 120 days in advance if you're staying on property. It looked like you had a great day you may have been better off.

I went to Parc Asterix when I was a teenager. I grew up reading the comics as a kid so I absolutely loved it. Much better than Disneyland!
